It's why Fincher makes amazing trailers along with movies.
The Richard Butler cover suits the Gone Girl story very well. There definitely is a sinister edge to this.
Right? I mean, it's not exactly the best cover, but I just can't believe how fantastic it sounds in the trailer! it just suits Gone girl so well *-*

As soon as I watched the trailer on the cinema, I went on to Google the song. I don't know why it made me so emotional. Lovely tune, it would be dreamy if someone sang me this. I'm corny just like that.

I always randomly get this song stuck in my head, can never remember where I've heard it or the proper lyrics always just the melody, it drives me insane, i've been thinking about it the last 2 hours I was searching Bradley Cooper movies in google thinking that's where it was from when finally a picture of Ben Affleck popped into my head and I was like fucccck.

Charles Aznavour co-wrote and sand the song (Charles Aznavour and Herbert Kretzmer ). It is called SHE in English and "Tous les visages de l'amour" (all the faces of love) in French.

I like this one better, especially for the movie. It has that psychological feel, while Castello has a soulful feel.

It's not featured in the film at all, but it is used very well in the trailer. Expect the same feelings watching the film as you do from watching the trailer.

wow--disappointing. I expected better from Butler--he adds nothing new and his vocals sound thin and reedy. I will stick with Elvis Costello's cover of the song.

What have they done to such a beautiful song as 'She', Richard Butler's version is awful, he has not got the voice for this kind of song, what was wrong with using Charles Aznavour, now that is a voice.
