      Its available in India. In Mumbai you can get it. Its called Papanas. Right now the season is going on.

    It's offered in teez puja ..as a kid I loved it to eat..gagar niboo..meaning pot ..big one ...I loved it eating since childhood more than my siblings..my mom used to include it as a prasad for me especially 🥰🥰..me did teez this time but couldn't find it in metro city ..dekh kar yaad aa gya...up bihar a common fruit..nani house had a tree of it ..in our courtyard...loved eating it 🥰🥰🥰

    Omg pomelos are sooo much tastier to ne than ruby reds! I love them so much. Of course the ones I get at Walmart are a tad smaller and not so seedy. More flesh to them and tasty? Omg

      @@brendahenderson683 they are saesonal. They would seem to be more juicy but they come apart less juicy than grapefruit. But the flavor? Oh maron! The flesh is much thicker than GF so keep that in mind. If you see them try it. You will not be disappointed. If you like GF. Those and kumquats are my absolute favorites

    Here in the Philippines it is a belief that we must avoid cutting the very meat of pomelo while peeling off the skin to avoid a bitter taste.

    In our hometown this fruit is for 5 rupees.,But here one piece is for 300 so much expensive.
    Im from Mizoram and in staying in Mumbai.
    Sorry im not good in English guys i hope you understand.

    I like grapefruit especially grapefruit juice but didn't know they could be that big. Very good against cell division in the body...prevents formation of cancer

      The Name behind grapefruit:-most probably at fruit time it's tree 🎄 like a bunch of grapes. Whenever I eat this fruit it's very hard for me to throw it's peels ~ greedy to eat. If any body have the recipe to use it's peels.please write something without hasitation.regard

    In marathi we call it papanas ( पपनस}. Mix with grated fresh coconut, sugar and pinch of salt before eating. It is also called torinjan (तोरींजन) in coastal area of Maharashtra Goa.

      It most probably Southeast Asian fruit
      First found in Malaysia then adapted in other Asian countries like China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Philippines
      Now USA, Maxico and other countries are producing it a lot
      China is the most pomelo producing country then Vietnam and USA
      Pomelo is very nutritious fruit and has many health benefits
      Some Indian states have this fruit
      This fruit has many variants in two colors
