Physio students are some of the most motivated people I've met. Now that I'm practicing myself, it's always nice to get a student on placement, they all really want to learn and get the most out of it, makes my job more enjoyable, too.
My mother and grandmother were learning disability physiotherapists. I always respected them so much for their jobs and how much they help people. It is a bit of an under appreciated profession in my opinion. It was interesting to see how it is studying nowadays.
Great video, not many physiotherapy youtubers and I currently want to study it!

@@jameskwokphysio I'm in 2nd year and they just started clinics so still learning! But I treat under supervision and it honestly feels so good to put knowledge into action. The patients response also makes my day . Currently , missing it because of the pandemic . Anyways ,lots of love and power to you. Keep the videos coming and all the very best physio partner :)

My role there is a physiotherapy assistant, and you can treat them as long as you are supervised :)

Hey, they basically refer to the same subject/course. Physical therapy is the American term for physiotherapy. Thank you and hope you enjoyed it!

Just got accepted to the physio program for Brunel and I wanted to know how you think it compares to other physio schools like RGU, GCU, UEA and MMU. Of course you'll be a bit biased however, do you feel like Brunel teaches you everything you need to know to be an independent physio?

Very few physiotherapists operate on patients and you certainly will not do while you study the course! Are you interested in pursuing a career in physiotherapy?

How important is personal physical fitness for this course?
You certainly don’t have to be physically fit for this course or to be a great physiotherapist!

The entry requirements to pursue the course can be found in our course website, and you certainly don't have to be good at sports to be a physio! Physio is soooo much more than just sports :)

Yes of course! There's so much more to physiotherapy than just sports (eg. neurorehab in stroke, respiratory in COVID-19 etc), catch me on instagram and I can tell you more about the career pathway :)
