- This is a tutorial and walkthrough of the Sims FreePlay Road to Fame Quest and the Teen Idol Hobby which unlocks the Teen Idol Mansion! This is episode 20 of our Let's Play series for The Sims FreePlay. We're starting from the very beginning, with Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter as the town's founding sims! (More characters from other fandoms will follow.) For this Sims FreePlay Let's Play series, we're doing tutorials and walkthroughs of all Sims FreePlay quests -- on a budget -- until we finally catch up to the Royalty Quest.

This helped so much !! I have been in this quest for weeks and weeks playing the piano upgrading it and checking on it every hour or so i didn’t realise u needed different instruments 😂😂 i have like 6 quests to do so thanks now i am well on my way
I did the same for days! Then I saw this and finisched in minuts.
+Jada A. -- There two types of quests in the game -- some you have to complete in a specific order, and some you can start any time. For the ones you have to complete in a specific order, the next one pops up automatically once you have finished the quests that come before it. If you tap on the long "Active Tasks" button in the lower left of your screen, then the green number, you should see your quest queue which tells you what quests you have coming up.

Well this quest was a HUGE disappointment. The entire thing is all about the hobby. THATS IT.

+siddhant goenka -- We have always had the volleyball net unlocked so I am not actually sure what would happen with the Teen Idol Mansion if it's not unlocked from the swimming quest. GirlWhoGames says you would still get one, though. I guess even if it did come with the Teen Idol Mansion anyway, you still wouldn't be able to buy more for your other houses. :(

I haven't unlocked the volleyball net and I got it in the teen idol mansion so yes

I started this game five years ago (I was eight) on my iPad and often stop playing for a while (around 3 months to a year 🤭 ) I’m not going on anymore breaks! But these sin chases and limited time quests will be the DEATH OF MEEE!!!

i think having a time limit on a quest which is basically pure chance on fast you can get the hobby done is pretty annoying, not everyone has the time to keep checking their sims or the lifepoints to keep speeding up the hobby
This was one of my favourite quests because before this everything was like teen idol this, teen idol that and I was like what? Well now I can put concerts and recreate celebrities! Yay lol

The reason for asking this is so I can save up LPs in order to speed up the remaining quest I have to get them done under the amount of time that I am given to get the additional price for each quest. I would be very grateful for your assistance.

Hi @make2 ! Right now I'm in the middle of this hobby. I don't use lps or anything to complete my tasks because I just don't buy them. I'm too thrifty lol and i just enjoy playing the game... but, right now I'm working really hard on unlocking the teen idol mansion so I can build Lisa Vanderpumps home on it. So, I was wondering...... would you all like to do a neighbors tour on her house for me? Before I found out how huge the teen idol lot was I originally started construction on her home on one of the regular large home lots. Her house is nearly completed but I'm just using it as a template for when I bulid her house again on the teen idol lot. If you'd like you can check out my house because even though it's small, it's rather extravagant and beautiful. I don't know, ever since I saw her house on the Real Housewives I'm just in love with it. I'm a huge architecture enthusiast and that's basically why I play this game. But yeah I'm really proud of it. Please let me know if you guys wanna check it out and I'll keep you guys updated if you want on the construction of her new home on the teen idol mansion lot. I'm so excited and proud of it. Thanks!

Aha now I get it! Those that means when u completed the hobby at the first time the limited time will end! And u can relax from the quests! And when u upgrade the sign to lvl 3 u will get the mansion and complete the quest! Pls tell me if I am right or wrong... I am on the pirate quest and I want to get ready for this upcoming quest!

have you tried multiple teen idols glitch/workaround? They say you can do that so it'll be easier to get your simtown to level 3 much faster.

I am stuck as we speak on this stupid quest Road To Fame I'm at the beginning were it askes me to buy the stack of magazines which I did placed them on a table but each time i try to get any of my teen sims to read teen celebrity that option never pops up it's only gives me the other options what do I dooooo :(((( so frustrating !!!
xxfersurebabexx It says you have BUY one... :/ Only then will the teen celebrity option pop up. Read the quest information properly.

How many times do you have to complete the teen idol hobby to get the sign to lvl3?

Of course it could take too long, its only one sim will take a teen idol hobbies, thats why its suck, if only more than a one would able to play the bobbies it will be easy instead one, and it sucks though because whats the purpose of instruments if you cant have a band

Yes, just the first time. After that it costs either simoleons or LP (can't remember), and will cost more depending on how many buildings you have in your town.

If it's free the first time, I'd go find the most expensive lot there is and put it there. But maybe that's just me.

I don't understand your question but if you have a problem in your game you should submit a help request at the EA/Firemonkeys website and let them know you're in the middle of a quest.

Once you have collected all 15 notes once and reset the collection, do you have to get all 15 again before you reset it in order to get the items needed to build the sign, or can you reset it any time (with less than 15 notes) and get the item for the sign as long as you have all three notes for the magazine shoot or whatever item? Thanks!
+Kristen DeMarco you need to collect all items before you can reset. All hobbies work this way.

HELP, I've already completed the the Higher Education quest and I bought a stack of magazines. However it kept telling me that I still need to buy a stack of magazines. At this point I've already bought around 5 stacks. Was there something I missed?

Andrea 21 if you don't do it in the time limit all that happens is that you can't buy instruments, the first time you buy the house it will be free so say you want two teen idol mansions only one of them will be free, hoped this helped

I’m so frustrated. I’m on the bit where I need a microphone and it’s not there. I’ve checked the home store and the promotions r us store and there’s no microphone. Many other people have had this problem and there’s no solution. I can’t move on now until I have the microphone
