The Donna Troy section has some issues. Notable the backstory I described wasn’t her original backstory or her most recent. Sorry about that, Donna Troy has a very confusing history
I am so hyped for the Daredevil iceberg, especially since I haven't been able to find any good icebergs about him and he's my second favorite Marvel hero next to Spider-Man. I'm also hoping you talk about his 70s foe Death-Stalker in that iceberg since I have a weird obsession with him and think he's one of the most underrated Marvel villains despite him being dead since 1979 and he could be a huge threat if he were ever brought back.
Not to be rude, but there actually was a reason that Wonder Woman was just the secretary and not a full time member that wasn’t just sexism. There was this very weird rule for the team, where no one who was the star of their own book could be a “full time member”. That’s why Batman and Superman never made appearances on the team until the Silver Age. WW, however had won a fan poll to be added to the team. Not wanting to break their stupid rule, but also not wanting to disappoint the people who had voted, they made her the secretary instead. (There probably was also some sexism, but it was more complicated than just that.)
One of the reasons I look forward to it, is because once it comes out, it'll for once be an iceberg covering a franchise that'll be finished, with the release of Aquaman 2 (obviously not counting the DCU since that's a reboot). So there'll be no real worry about topics and information ageing poorly, based on things that are yet to come out, with possible exceptions being new behind-the-scenes information.
Really hope he goes into New Guardians' cliffhanger for Green Lanterns. A whole series centered around Kyle Rayner, that ends with him forming a White Lantern Corps... which is never brought up again all these years later.
It’s so disheartening that basically every Wonder Woman media (aside from comics) ended up being cancelled. Tv show after tv show after movie after movie. Mostly either it was pitched but no one picked it up, or a male writer had no direction for the script. I wonder how many cancelled tv shows and movies would’ve came to be if there were women writers or if it was pitched to women.

Wonder Woman being a guest character in Superman TAS would've made sense, because Lois lane made a snarky remark that mentions Wonder Woman. It obviously made no sense because no one knows who she is. She made her debut on Justice League TAS.
True dat, it really would've helped that line make sense in retrospect, however I really like the fan-theory that the events of the episode "The Savage Time" (or I think thats the name? Sorry it's been a while since I've watched JL) allowed the "myth" of Wonder Woman to exist despite WW herself not leaving the Island until the first episode of Justice League, since in that episode she goes back in time and is seen by soliders during WW2, meaning they could've spread the myth of a "Wonder Woman" allowing for Lois Lanes reference to make sense despite WW herself not being around until way after S:TAS, either that or since the WW Armor existed before she left the idea her Mother secretly was Wonder Woman years/decades before in the history of the DCAU, which is also an interesting/cool explanation imo
@@theleonpasta7336 Those are some interesting theories. They do make sense. That would help tie everything together. I know the animated universe has some inconsistencies and retcons, but that doesn't bother me at all. There were also theories that the Justice League TAS was originally going to be Wonder Woman TAS, because her origin story starts from there. That would've been cool if they have done that. The Word War I setting was in place before Jenkins was hired, you can literally find articles that talk about the setting from back when Michelle MacLaren was directing, and you can find an interview with writer Allan Heinberg about how Snyder decided to go with his take on Wonder Woman, the naive Diana, smaller scale origin story with WWI setting, instead of Snyder's original concept of the Crimean War where she was already battle experienced and was going around several warfronts chasing Ares and recruiting warriors of different cultures, as seen in the image.

Great Hera! What the heck is the source material for most of those Artemis illustrations? Penthouse magazine? Not that superheroes aren't allowed to be sexy, but there's a difference between poses that are tastefully suggestive and flagrantly raunchy lewdness. That artwork is way too in-your-face for anything outside of the adults-only section, and it pushes salaciousness too far over the line. Where were the DC editors on that one, out to lunch?

God, I love seeing normal people soak into the glorious, batshit insanity of superhero comics. Point of order though, on the Secretary one. Yes, it was super sexist, but at the time, Superman and Batman were also Honorary members. The idea was that the regulars in the book were characters who didn't have their own regular solo book.
With the upcoming DCU (which I'm very excited for), if they're willing to recast Superman and Batman, I think it'll happen to Wonder Woman (and the rest of the Justice League and other leads) as well. And based on the scrapped Flash ending scene, I wouldn't be surprised if that's their plan. Specifically the version where WW & co. appears, that was vetoed by Gunn & Safran, in favor of the George Clooney one, while leaving the Aquaman one in since he has one more movie left. The cited reason for changing The Flash's ending, and Keaton and Affleck's roles as Batman in The Lost Kingdom being scrapped, was along the lines of not wanting "to promise a movie universe that will not come to fruition, nor tie it down excessively to past failures." When it comes to what I want to happen, I'm admittedly basic when it comes to reboots. Even if there were actors that I liked in a previous version, I much prefer resetting with a clean slate involving new ones, when doing a reboot. To where reprising ones are a treat, or makes sense for what they have planned. (Cena, Davis, Agee and Maridueña in the DCU, J.K. Simmons as J. That canceled Wonder Woman/Xena story sounds eerily similar to an idea for a crossover story I came up with a while back. It was about Gamora of GOTG fame being transported to the DC universe by the Grandmaster. There, she would encounter Wondie and they'd start fighting, but they settle their differences pretty quickly and team up to take down the supervillain Mongul. They even end up swapping costumes at one point in the story!
