Shifting is good regarding the internal routing, but it is Shimano Claris which is Shimanos lowest end group set. This compared to their other higher end mechanical shifting sets (105, GRX, Ultegra) you can feel a massive difference in smoothness and shift speed.
awesome! I have the Wahoo Element Bolt (the older one) they have a new Element Bolt 2 out, but mine has been performing fine so I havent upgraded yet. I like wahoo's ecosystem of parts, pairs well with a wahoo heart monitor if you want to get one of those
hell yeah! its a great bike, but I'm already finding myself wanting a little more gears on the top cog, just because the bike is so heavy that climbing is a bit difficult. I'm looking into getting a shimano 12-42 cassette to replace the 11-32 it came with.
@@nickbaumcycling i was thinking of the possibility do buy the scott gravel 40, but it was coming with yellow(i dislike), that had more gears/+price, but since im like a beginner, maybe it fits me. I'm thinking about riding mainly in road, 20-30km/s , will see . How much is to add that upgrade? The shop told me to upgrade this one would cost me like 300 euros
@@Flyboard12345 Yes, 80mm. Its a great starter gravel bike! I actually ended up selling it to purchase a carbon bike with higher tier components. But it is a great bike for what it is for the price.
The fit is true to size and comparable to Canyon. I'm 5'8 and got a Small, which is their 51. I have fitted a 51 other brands as well. A lot of retailers carry Scott, so if you order one online, it couldn't hurt to go into a shop and try on a Foil or an Addict. I ride an Addict road, and its almost identical to this gravel bike in frame geometry and fit.
@nick-kassebaum I'm 5'11 and usually run a 56. I was dead set on a Cervelo Apero, which is a really dope bike, but I felt pain in my pockets when it came time to pay. Lol
i love the new bike so much!! the color is awesome 👏
I feel jealous. I`ll be in a bike shop tomorrow for sure!.
I have that one too. Nice bike bro 😎
thanks man!! Its a fun one
How's the shifting? Thinking about getting one but a bit concerned withe cable routing through the headset.

@@nickbaumcycling Cheers good to know.
Just got one of these and so far it’s perfect for me. Location Davie Florida- great for the back trails here.
Which computer would you suggest?

@@nickbaumcycling what's the stem length? 80mm? I'm same height, thinking of buying same bicycle.
@@nickbaumcycling the cat was of great help I guess ))

How's the fit? I hear they run a little big. Thanks in advanced!
