- A new tune of mine, played at a house concert in Dresden, Germany. Nile Rodgers and CHIC have been a huge influence on me as a musician and so I took a go at writing my own disco/funk tune and arranged it for solo acoustic guitar.

I wrote the original idea as a song, and in the song arrangement the bassline is very prominent. Hard to do on an acoustic but it's as close as I can get it!

Arno Deboosere hey Arno, there’s a tab on my website for this. It’s not impossible to play, there’s just a specific right-hand technique you have to practise to get it to sound that way
@@ShaneHennessyMusic is there a tutorial on that specific hand technique because i was mainly watching your right hand and it did seem a bit unorthodox. Almost like you are pinching base notes with your thumb and index finger

I will eventually, but I find it very time-consuming to write tabs! I am in the process of writing tabs for my first album 'Zephyrus', and I hope to have the tabs for the second album done before I release next year!

Haha. Thanks, yes it's standard but in this case I'm down a half step. I tune the guitar either to Eb standard or E standard depending on the tune I'm playing and also depending on the type of string I use.
