Hi I bought my property in 2006 in Esentepe and paid the VAT from Medview. I am still waiting for Deeds. The latest update i have is will cost somewhere in the region of £12000 pounds too obtain them. What i would like to know is do i need them after owning property for 20 years and why i am being charged again by Medview for deeds. It all seems very complicated.
Like me bought 2022 got 2023 my purchase contract with Medview paid VAT from Medview too. I am like other 2 buyers before me, which also paid VAT from Medview for same property. My lawyer, Naomi saying I have to wait 1 more year for deeds and have to pay again, howmuch he doesn't know now. I don't know, will I lose my property with new laws?
Hello Cenap. Any more updates on this new law? If you don’t register how long you have to sell it ? Hope some positive news for foreigners that make a purchase for family with their heart .
2 years time, however you have to get it registered at interior ministry from %1 within 6 months after new law. I suggest you to wait few more weeks because they may take it to supreme court.

I bought in 2022 still waiting for ptp naomi my lawyer says it cannot be chased as with the army ...in the mean time my tax due will be double that that was budgeted for in 2022 my ptp with the army since oct 2023 so nothing was done with my application submitted early 2022. And the kocan owner in the meantime will not sign my architect papers ...its a mess and we are expected to just keep paying and waiting ...
It’s taking over 2 years now for ptp. Its not your lawyer fault but the government brocracy. I believe there will be some changes for buyers part as positive. Cenap

If VAT paid they should give deeds as its they responsibility to give

Be careful relocating. Would only advise to buy a property that is finished and has its deeds. Don't risk buying a new build.
