Hello, my friend Could you clarify when the “Evap Mode” should be used. This mode goes ON and OFF along the video with no explanation. Thank you for your prompt response.
@@AutoolTECH 5psi is too high for EVAP systems. The OE approved smoke machines for EVAP work within 0.5 PSI. In no way should the pressure rise above 1 PSI to call it EVAP safe.
@@narseh123 Normally, if the pressure in the evap exceeds 1 psi, it will be detected by the sensor inside, and an alarm will be issued to indicate that the pressure is too high. But the engine is off during the detecting. please no worries. It won't damage the evap system. Besides, If we really use the 1psi pressure to test, no leaks will be detected at all.
The STANDARD MODE button shows ON on both scenarios: High pressure lines and Evap System lines. Is that the normal operation ?
Thanks
No, both modes can not work at the same time. In this video, the STANDARD MODE off when the EVAP mode on.

The EVAP mode means low-pressure mode, which is within 5psi and won't go up, so as to protect EVAP system.
Thank you
Thank you
