Hello, my talented friend, it's Betty.......how fun to review these fabulous projects from 2022! Anyone could have hired a contractor to do all the work reflected in this video, but you did it yourself, with the help of your family! How rewarding for you to sit back and say 'I did that molding, I did the painting, I re-did my dining chairs, etc!' I'm sure your husband is so proud of you and your creativity! I have my late Dad to thank for teaching me carpentry skills and my husband gave me a nice jigsaw for my birthday! Skip the flowers, give me power tools! Also, door knobs. That little medicine cabinet next to the mirror would look great with another botanical print in a gold frame hung right on the front of it.

I'm still here I love the dining room makeover. The mirror in the bathroom and dining room look very similar that's good. The hot glue art I loved also. I'm putting the drape company on my home decor list.

Also a good diy on a budget is if u have cheap plastic blinds spray paint them. Spray paint fixes everything

Lisa everything look amazing. I love the rug under my dining room table. My husband pick out the fabric for the drapes. The fabric was silk and the color a very unique color in the teal family. It took over a year to find the perfect rug and I love it. I have made all of the drapes in my house. The master bedroom and the the dining room both have silk drapes. They are harder to make because you have to use an extra lining behind the silk. Your house looks so lovely and bright. I love your style. Ann from Va.

In the future, you can use shellac spray to prevent bleed through (your bed).

DIY girl (long Before I was even married and had children, I was in my twenties and thirties and I was already painting furniture because that's what I wanted to do. People would ask me why and I said "because I want to. I wanted to look different than it does"....so I was way ahead of that l o l. Again, who knew??!)
If I mayoffer a suggestion, I usepacking Styrofoam blocks (I save those from things that are sent via shipping) andi use these for my spray painting, you can stick things into the Styrofoam and no waiting to turn it over after it dries.:)
What a score on the Bar Cart...! I love Bar Carts, I have one that I use in my kitchen (Goldfinish , of course ! lol.I am also a"Gold girl", but I also use mixed metal finishes).
Mirror is gorgeous, nice job ! (...you can also use Rub n Buff Gold,I love that stuff). If you don't want to tape off your mirrors or glass for spray painting, the product that you just " paint onto " the gkass/ mirror is called Liquid Mask, peels right off once you've painted your project. ,:)

Omg, you got a deal on that bar cart. I couldn't find one exactly as I wanted and the prices were outrageous to buy one I didn't like, so I DIY one. Nope, it's not like the Zgallerie dupe everyone has done. It will be on my channel as soon as I move because it has to be glued and it's easy to pack currently. Hint it has acrylic legs and the works!!

The paint is a custom Sherwin Williams color. Every time I need a new bucket of paint I take the old one in and have them color match it.
