As someone who is low income the Sims idyllic nature is unsettling to me. I hate that every world is perfectly pristine, almost sterile. It feels alien to me, none of these worlds look like home. I prefer my game worlds to look lived in. Thank you for sharing your builds with us ❤️
you're the second person i've seen calling it sterile and thats the perfect word for it. i totally agree! i prefer the lived in look as well. thank you for watching :)💖
personally the style of your builds and your whole channels aesthetic makes me feel comfy and I totally understand, people make assumptions which honestly isn't cool and you shouldn't be told things like that at all especially considering how chill you are hopefully those people stop commenting and leave you be
Thanks for the kind words 🥹💖 I love that my channel has a cozy vibe, that’s exactly what I wanted! I guess the negative comments are to be expected as the channel grows, and I’m fine with that. Lol but I figured I’d show everyone the reality of my life because I totally don’t want people thinking that I’m being malicious or judgmental in any way 💖
@@Dear-for-Dimash thank you so much! i wont be acknowledging those kinds of comments anymore in the future. they can just refer back to this video if they feel the need lol
Anyone who's saying negative things about your work is just jealous, imo. I grew up in low income areas, and I find your builds very realistic. The sims 4 can come across as very sterile to me. I personally play predominantly as my simself. I want my sim to live in a world similar to my own. Don't let them discourage you! You didn't have to explain yourself to any of us, but I personally appreciate hearing your story.
I lived on a school bus when I was young, my family had no home. Then we lived in the house my mother was born in, and it had been sitting empty for many years. I did not expect to end up crying watching this, but I loved this build.
🥺💖 stuff like this is my whole point. we all have our stories and struggles. And we all deserve to be included and respected. Sending you so much love!! 🫶🏻
i feel like people who judge low income builds are the ones that don't live in low income homes and have no idea what it's like and the fact that it's a comfortable state for some people to have a house that's not barbie doll perfect...
I adore your builds, they drag out this nostalgia, reminding me of the places I grew up around, the places I still live in. I've lived in the big city. I've lived in Small Town USA. I live down South, now, where the ground is mostly red clay and the soil is a ruddy redish brown mess, barely dirt. Where most houses aren't picture perfect, but built upon trailers that have been made homey by multiple generations just trying to survive. Honestly, I just love the vibe of your builds, they feel lived in. They feel like home, rundown and all.
Yes!! Same! I also in live in the south with the red clay and the trailers and poor little brick homes lol I’ve grown to love each and every single home for what they are! I grew up in Massachusetts around old duplexes in cities with cracked sidewalks and rundown homes everywhereeee. This has always been my reality and it feels like home. Thanks for being here and enjoying my stuff! 💖
no way girl!! your style of building is my favorite. i grew up in Kentucky, in a decently very poor city. your builds convey that comfy (?) homely vibe which reminds me of home tbh. it isn't always pretty but that's okay, its lived in. that's what makes it beautiful too.
I can't believe you're getting attitude for your builds. I love them precisely because they resemble my communities and the places I've lived, instead of some pristine Brady Bunch suburban ideal I can't relate to and don't care about. I couldn't build my own house without some of the CC I've found through you. I've definitely seen Simmers be creepy tourists about marginalised people's experiences that aren't theirs (but are mine) before and had to go "dude, no", but these people need to be able to tell the difference between that and someone just telling your own story.
Yesss and a lot of people that make these negative comments I think haven’t even had to experience an actual hard or low income life. It’s almost like they’re defending a group that they’re not actually a part of so they can’t actually speak on it. But that’s ok! People can have their opinions I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ One of my favorite things to do is find new CC for this kind of style. I love it lol
Personally I believe many people eho play the Sims love it because we can create a world that we always desired or recreate worlds from our personal experiences, I do both. People can be so caught up in their own emotions that they don't even think about other people's experiences. I love your channel, it brings a lot of enotions, self reflection, inspiration and overall just cozy feelings from the beautiful visuals you create and the soothing music. Please don't stop making these videos just because a few are too caught up in their own emotions that they refuse to think about others.
I will never ever stop! Lol I enjoy creating and sharing builds and sims for people, it’s one of the few things that bring me joy these days. Thank you for the kind words! It makes me really happy that my channel has that effect 💖
I love this style of build! Honestly it feels more realistic to have more builds like this than to have the perfect clean nature of the sims the whole time!!
If I saw one of these houses on sale I'd buy it in a heartbeat and do the necessary repairs myself. Granted, I wouldn't know how to do the plumbing but the rest, you can save so much by doing basic things like sanding, making your own kitchen counters and obviously painting it. All I'm saying is I love your house and a huge percentage of the population would never afford pristine and perfect houses anyway
thank you!! and youtube is your best friend! my mom and i learned to fix our own plumbing by watching videos and learning lol and we've had to do it A LOT! lol
Oh my god. Sweetheart you didn't have to apologise or justify the way you decorate and build in the Sims. People are so weird, the only thing they do is comment and comment even tho they know NOTHING. I'm sorry you felt the need to do this, your videos are incredible and you have a very soothing voice. You're doing amazing don't even glance at the hate comments. I wish you the best 🌻 btw your house is lovely xx
Aw thank you so much 😭💖 I know I didn’t have to, but I wanted to! I wanted to share a little bit of my life and let people know where I came from. I wanted to make this video for a long time, but those comments were the push I needed! Thank you again for the kind words ☺️ I appreciate you!!
Same here low income i appreciate the fact that you do realistic builds some weeks it's difference between buying food and paying a bill The Sims is the only Escape please keep up the amazing builds they're amazing and beautiful❤
I grew up in homes like the ones you build my whole life. A lot of people cant afford to repair things that break in their homes because theyre living paycheck to paycheck. we were lucky to get bread for the week. I love your builds bc despite growing up in homes like this they came with a lot of good memories!!
I love your builds! My husband and I just bought our home two years ago, it's a very old house and does need some work. but she has good bones, and my husband is a carpenter by trade and he does what he can when he can. We live in a small town in Canada and we don't have a lot of money, we both work, we are happy with what we have been able to do so far. It's clean and warm and at the end of the day we feel lucky and blessed to have a roof over our head. I like to play sims like real life, have them struggle and work. I love all your builds because i see them all around my town, every day people in every day, lower income homes. The cost of living here is high and folks do what they can. I think that you coming out and doing this video is very brave and honest, a lot of people on any social platform tend to present perfect little lives and homes, when it's not always the case. This is real and I think you are amazing! Keep on keepin on girl :)
Thank you!! We are def the majority, and I really appreciate creators who show and talk about reality rather than trying to portray perfection. That is always gonna be who I am, I just like to keep it real lol Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your story! 🫶🏻
I like your builds! They feel realistic and I live in a well, poor rural place in the midwest. I see these types of houses every day and have seen them my entire life. I appreciate someone not creating a fantasy. Sometimes real isn't "nice". Honestly this house in this video looks a lot like my childhood home (though it's since been demolished.)
I totally agree. And thank you!! Also, so sad to see a home demolished. Especially your childhood home! It’s like seeing a huge old tree being cut down. They have a life of their own 😭
we also moved in into a rundown house when i was younger and i wish my mom took pictures of how it was before it was renovated!! it was so small and so cold during the cooler days but it was the warmest home i’ve ever lived in.
Coming from a third world asian country, your builds give me comfort cos it’s what I grew up with. Don’t let these haters get you down. Glad to join your lil YT community and looking forward to seeing more of your work. I have all the cc you recommended in my game. I love them. Keep on creating!
I’m low income and have been all of my adult life. I really love all of your builds and have never been offended by them. They feel realistic and cozy. Keep up your beautiful work! Congratulations on the house and all of the hard work you guys have put into it! 🤗
When I watch a build that shows a bit of grunge, I feel so seen and not as embarrassed on my end. I feel less alone. I'm on low income housing as well. Thank you for sharing your story. Love what you showed me. 😊
The idea that all sims players are rich is so weird like????? Not everyone lives the beige life my home was built in 1920s and had literally shiet come up the pipes before we fixed it. our yard was torn up when we bought the house and we have two broken windows we can’t fix yet so they’re cardboarded up with duct tape, lmao we struggling out here
the 2 windows in our kitchen were just covered in plastic and duct taped up until a couple of weeks ago when we fixed them! we've also gone like 6 months without hot water in the past when our hot water heater broke. having to boil water for showers wasn't fun lol thank god for cheap used stuff on marketplace!
As someone who grew up in a double wide trailer for part of my life and have been low income I love your builds and it honestly brings me a sort of nostalgia. Before we lived in a double wide we lived in an old brick house my parents rented that was ran down then moved to the trailer when I was just a baby. My mom and dad only had me and my brother but my mom took care of 3 of her younger siblings as well so it was also messy in there with our toys and everything so the grunginess is realistic to me too. Even tho some people personally don’t like the grunginess for your builds and may feel like it’s being mean to low income people it’s still a reality to some of those people and may make them happy to see their house being represented/recreated. Not every sims build is for everyone and they shouldn’t be rude just because they aren’t the ones who relate to it. They simply should just turn it off and not comment at all than make false and mean assumptions I’m sorry that happened to you. Please continue making these builds tho they are much more realistic and unique 💞
Thanks for the kind words!! It really is a reality for so many of us and from the overwhelming majority of comments I get, most people have lived that reality and appreciate those builds and get some kind of nostalgia from them. Just wanted to share my story. Thank you for sharing yours! And that’s so crazy about the bus lol I swear it’s a really common thing down south lol
I’m so glad you shared a little piece of yourself and for the reason you build the way you do. I absolutely love the grittiness of your style. It is one of the reasons I subscribed , watch your videos and download your lots. I am making a whole world save on your builds so keep up the great work you do. Naysayers will be naysayers so until they have walked a mile in your shoes, they need to get off the high horse they come riding in on. ❤❤❤
I love to hear that people are filling up their saves with my builds! That’s so cool 🥰 thank you for being here and enjoying my stuff! Y’all mean the world to me 💖💖💖
i’m going to be so for real-you don’t owe commenters anything. don’t feel obligated to be vulnerable or share anything about yourself to defend yourself against the things people say. ik protect your peace is such a buzz phrase on tiktok right now but honestly-the people who know what you’re doing and want to watch your content already get it and won’t need you to share something to “justify” what you’re doing. you can create the audience you want in this way. it’s hard but it’s possible. hopefully i’m not overstepping by making this comment. beautiful build, as always you knock it out of the park. :)
Not overstepping at all, and totally agree with you on that. I’ve been wanting to make a Speedbuild of my house for a while now because it fits so perfectly with my build style, but I kinda put it off until I got a few of those comments, so they gave me the push I needed to upload this tbh lol It felt nice to share a bit of my personal life with my audience, and in turn so many of them have shared their lives with me. It’s fitting the cozy vibe I’ve always wanted in here. But thank you, I appreciate you 💖
Love watching your builds while working so much. Makes me really calm and focused because of the chill nostalgic vibes lol. Thank you for showing us the process on your cute house it was very satisfying 🌼
I love your stuff too! Grungy is realistic, most homes especially in more humid parts grow moss on the roofs no matter how much you clean or upkeep. Everyones home over time degrades and gets messy, I've always been poor and these types of builds give me nostalgia and a homey feel. I think its probably privileged folks commenting that weird shit to you, we have ENOUGH pristine white people suburban perfect homes on the gallery! Thank you for building and sharing what quite a lot of us do live in or are in the neighborhoods of. It's GOOD to have diverse builds, and also as a builder and player I like going into builds and tidying it up and working on it over time as my sim lives their life as its immersive for some of us.
i totally agree! theres already so much modern perfect stuff everywhere in the community. i need more grunge and realism!! thank you for the kind words and for being here and enjoying my stuff 🥰🥰
@@sweetdew those are from pierisims pantry party pack!! i love that pack so much! ill post the list of CC for this build with the tray files as soon as i can sit down and find all the cc i used haha
I love your builds! I don’t play Sims 4 anymore but often do this kind of build in Sims 2. I think it’s more interesting if there is a mix of stories. I was very poor after my husband left me with 2 children. While I had many very hard years my children now adults often have some of their best memories in our small home from that time!
From all the comments I’ve seen on my videos, that seems to be the case for a lot of people. They say that as kids growing up in these situations, they have many fond memories of it and their parents (single moms mostly) took such great care of them and provided so well for them. Myself included! Also I miss the sims 2 so much! How does it play on modern PCs?
Gosh this internet is full of snowflakes. Like not everyone lives in an aesthetically pleasing upscale mansion, townhome, penthouse luxury apartment, and professionally interior decorated loft. Ugh, you’re better than me sis. I would’ve ignored them all.
i absolutely love this build, all of your builds give off this rainy november thursday afternoon vibe, idk if it makes sense lmao but they're beautiful and you should be proud of yourself
This was lovely to watch! I loved how you showed us before and afters in game while still respecting your own privacy. That's something I struggle to navigate with my own videos. I really enjoyed the narration parts. Your voice is comforting and kind. I hope you're comfortable enough to do some partial or full commentary in the future. Great build! :)
aw thanks so much!! thats really sweet! i would love to do more commentary in my videos, i just never find enough time to do them as often as i'd like. but in the future i will definitely try to do it more!
First let me say.. I have always loved your videos❤I can see you and your family has put a lot of hard work into this old house and started to bring life back into it again. When you were talking about the old windows being replaced I knew then when it was built. I use to live in an old building that had those kind of windows and the man turned it into apartments. The building was from 1800's and he had not done any replacing of the original windows or flooring 😒The flooring was coming up in places and he always said he was going to fix it but never did the 2 years we lived there. When I first moved in I had to scrub it down. There was not trash in it like what you had to deal with but it was nasty and needed to be deably cleaned. There was not any heat or AC in this apartment and I am almost 60 years old with really bad health conditions so after living there for the 2 years I began to get worse. My younger daughter and her husband had me move in with their family because my husband was gone a lot and I did not need to be a lone in the apartment. Rent is crazy and trying to buy a home is too! I am thankful that my daughter and her husband is letting us stay with them till we can afford a home again some day. We help them out with things and the grandchildren. I think these days many families have had to move in together because of the economy the way it is. My husband and I are old and we dont work. We keeps trying to find work but because of his age and health it's hard for him to get a job. If we didn't have our daughter's home to live at we would be living on the street. We struggle day to day and life has always been a challenge. I think that's why I like to make things easier for my sims 😂😂I have had a hard enough life I don't want my sims to suffer. I do however like to play realistic. I know your run down builds like this one here a lot of people would love to use in there LP. It would be fun to play in with a sim or family as a Rag To Riches style. Just not completely broke like they have them at the start. Thank you for sharing your home with us and God bless you and your family❤❤🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing your story, and I’m so sorry for your struggles. A lot of us are closer than we think to being homeless on the streets. Life is not easy, a lot of times it feels like one step forward and two steps back. But thank god for family that helps us out and sticks with us through it all. A lot of people don’t even have that, and that breaks my heart. I totally understand wanting to give your sims a better life 😂 Thank you for your kind words and God bless you and yours as well! Praying that things only get better for y’all 💖🫶🏻
thank you for this build and thank you for sharing some of your story. life and reality really really is tough and while some of us use the sims to escape and create the life we wished we had, a lot of others want to create a life that is more realistic. I appreciate your builds a lot, even with me being the type to like more of an unrealistic game play. your builds really are comforting to watch. the person that made that comment about you should think about how offensive that really was. in their ridiculousness they essentially talked down on those of us that grew up in similar situations; this is home and we are happy. why assume that we are miserable vs grateful for what we do have? Again, thank you so much for your builds and I look forward to more of them.❤
Krazy how people can be so cruel... you can tell by your following that your doing a great job... not everyone lives in a mansion or brick home. I love your builds for the realism, please don't let the negative comments change your style. Lil Simsie has talked about negative feedback and unfortunately that just comes with gaining popularity. Wishing you success and growth in your channel.
Yea it’s a totally normal part of gaining popularity on the internet I guess! But I won’t let it get to me. Just wanted to share my side of things and tell y’all my story 💖 thank you so much!! ☺️
Now Hun you pay no mind to those idiots. I love the run down houses because I absolutely love fixing them up. I always look for run down places because it's just something I enjoy doing. Your builds are amazing and you're amazing and they are just dumb. So many creators have made run down houses and people love them. It's just very satisfying talking a run down and making it beautiful and if they can't get it then so sad for them. I would just block them.
I love your builds, i love your style, your builds feel more familiar and realistic than most others. You shouldn't ever have to justify yourself or your work to toxic people, i'm sorry you had to do that. Thank you for another amazing build :)
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed sharing a little bit of myself with the channel, so it’s all good! Negative comments are just a part of being on the internet I guess! Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watchinggg ☺️💖 appreciate you!
if you know about the tvtropes page "stepford suburbia", that's what most sims worlds remind me of. i VASTLY prefer a so-called "grungier" (read: doesn't look like shot a real estate agent would take of a house) building style. great work as always wolf!
I totally agree! All styles have their place for sure, and people can choose to play whatever style they prefer. But this is the one I prefer! Thank you so much 💖💖💖
girl dont pay the negative people ANY mind!! we know what u mean by “ran down” etc. keep doing u & keep doing great at it!! i love ur grunge aesthetic, u make it look soo beautiful, even if it is ran down, u always turn it into something cozy❤❤❤ u have my full support & i hope that comment doesn’t effect u in any way! u are one of the sweetest person ik
i also love how u incorporated actual pictures of ur home along w a voice over tour! one day u will be blessed even more than now & ur hard work is going to pay off!! 💖💖
Aw thanks girl 😭😭 you are the best!! I appreciate you so much!! I’m so grateful already! IMO the hard work has paid off! The fact that I’m able to be here doing something I love and meeting awesome people like you is such a blessing. 🥹💖 makes me tear up just talking about it 😭💖
Haha yesss I’m very familiar with this life!! And no!! It’s not haunted! But that makes me want to build my childhood home, which was a VERY haunted 200 year old farm 🫣
In some way it's almost nice you received those nasty comments bc it gave us this wonderful video and insight in your own private life. Since I really love fixer uppers, grungy builds and realism in the Sims I absoluteley adore this house and place, just wow. Also it felt so cozy and comforting to hear you talk and to watch you build and decorate. I love your content especially for this kind of style and always look forward to see more from you :) and despite the insane amount of work you had to put in creating a home in this neglected place it really looks... very beautiful to me. At least my sims can live there now, yay.
This might sound cliche and I know I'm late, but the current state of your house feels like... home. A house with Gravity Falls mystery shack vibes, and that warm, midwestern suburban home feel. I'd like to build this for a game with some sims because I love this style and admire how you've improved the state of the place, i grew up in a similar area in similar conditions. You deserve more support def
Wow thank you so much! That’s really cool that you got gravity falls vibes. I’ve been wanting to watch that show cause I never did, and just last night I was talking about watching it! Guess it’s time lol I really appreciate the kind words 🥺💖
Psssshhhhhh. I grew up in government housing and it looked just like this style. There was mold, water stains, no air conditioning, sometimes we didn’t even have proper plumbing because there is no proper funding for assisted living. It is a common reality. Your design style gives me nostalgia. It reminds me of where I come from. Please keep doing what you do.
Ugh I’m so sorry! But yes, you’re right. It’s what sooo many people go through. I had a lot of friends growing up that lived in government housing that wasn’t the best. My grungy builds and I are here to stay 💖
Please ignore those comments. Your builds are realistically rundown and grungy for a lot of us but they are also have the same sense of warmth and cosiness that comes from people refusing to let their circumstances or environment get in the way of them turning a house into a home. Anyone who has genuinely ever experienced growing up or living in less privileged circumstances would be able to see the heart and comfort in your builds. I find it very hard to believe that the people criticising you actually have experience of what they're talking about. They are the ones who sound sheltered and privileged since the first assumption they make is that people who didn't or don't live in perfect houses are suffering and need them to act as their mouthpiece. We don't. The house I grew up in wasn't perfect but even on the coldest night it had warmth in abundance.
Your work is amazing. Your aesthetic is calming to me. I love you and I love your work and I love your vulnerability in this video (although you didn’t have to justify why you create what you create imo) but I’m glad to know you! 🫶🏻🤍 stay strong and stay you always 🤍🫶🏻
Aw I love you for saying that! And for always being so supportive of my stuff! I was happy to share a little part of my life with my followers regardless of the reason why ☺️ felt kinda good to make things a little more personal, which is exactly how I want this little community to be! Thank you for the kind words 🥹 I appreciate you 💖🫶🏻
I´m long time on youtube now and im always happy to see new creator. You´re a great builder and i like your style. I prefer this poor/rundown style but i also build some modern houses. Kepp up your good work. 😍
Thank you! I also enjoy a variety of build styles! I follow plenty of creators that cater to more cute and cozy and whimsical builds. Once in a while I like to build in other styles as well. There’s room for everything! 💖
I'm low income and my house is dirty on the outside. I have a leaky roof, pipes thwt need to be replaced, and the duct work needs to be completely redone. I can't afford to pay someone to power wash the outside of my house or paint it. Everything is so dang expensive. Especially in the US. I also have ro work full time and clean my house myself because I can't afford to pay a house keeper to clean for me. So sometimes my house is dirty on the inside too 😂
Lol yep I’m right there with you too! Most days I’m too tired to organize or clean up after working and tending to animals all day. We have dogs and chickens, on top of repairs we have to deal with, and the house absolutely gets messy and dirty. Life is a lot to deal with 😅
I personally prefer your style of builds compared to the ones that look more luxurious and/or neat. This is more realistic to me and I like the little details you put in.
I rarely ever leave comments on videos, but let the naysayers naysay. You wouldn’t be able to detail these homes like you do if you haven’t experienced them first hand. I grew up in one of the poorest parts of the states, this is reality not some sugar coated e-girl fantasy build. Keep up the good work, and keep your aesthetic.
As someone who comes from low income, I never found your videos offensive in any way. If anything, it made me feel seen because most sim builds have this too perfect and clean thing going on and its kind of off-putting, so keep doing what you're doing.
your buildings always inspire me to keep playing the sims and creating this rundown buildings with a super lore LOL... and also, what are this custom windows that you use??
Frankly I’ve never felt your creations as an offense. Speaking by my heart I honestly find offensive the iper luxury of most of sims productions that really can speak to a narrow minority of people and gift the imagine of a world affordable for really few people. In this situation, you are showing a credible reality and not a dream. And reality is never offensive
i love this build sm!! part of why I love your content is the relatability of it (-: do you know what lot this is in-game? if not that's okay too, you did such a good job tho!
Idk why they didn’t realize that the reason they look so real and are so detailed are bc you’ve been there? Expecially the insides like, no one but some one who’s been there could make that realistic of an interior.
My only complaint for you EVER is that you don't narrate moar of your videos.... Seriously if you did, your channel would EXPLODE! I prefer narrated videos because I like to hear your creative reasoning regarding different selections and the casual speaking as well.
aaahhh i would love to do voice overs for every single video! its just hard finding the quiet alone time to do it! but i'll try to do it more ,cause i really do enjoy it as well!
I haven't even gotten past the intro and i already have an opinion for these people hating and saying nasty things about you in general... (for the haters) That isnt a nice way to live at all and for you guys to be spreading nasty comments about someone you dont know and/or dont know their living situation is sad and shows who you really are. I live in a double wide mobile home in the back of a neighborhood. All of the houses around ours (excluding the 5 blocks of mobile homes similar to ours) are "rich-ish" in the essence of they can afford to live on the water and they can afford to live in real houses. Our house in itself right now is worth 50k. That is way less than what a regular house around us i worth. (150k-200k) I honestly don't mind living in a run down house because most of my friends who live around me (in other mobile homes in these said 5 blocks) have quite the same house and house value. Someone building run down houses on a COMPUTER GAME should not make up your mind about who they are nor should you jump to conclusions about them hating on the lower income group. It's completely not fair to this creator and it shows that you don't really care about this situation either and want to spread hate because you feel bad about your living situation. I honestly could never think of hating on someone because of what they build in a game and thats very shady for yall to do... So maybe before you comment any more about her wonderful, realistic, and beautiful builds, think to yourself "is this really who i want to be? Hating on another person i dont even know??". At the end of the day, it really isnt your business where she lives and the fact that she had to make this video and show picture-proof of where she lives because of yalls hate comments is sad... She shouldnt have to out her living situations to prove that she is a living, breathing human with her own personal problems. This house is a beautiful representation that even if you are poor or low-income you can still make the most out of your living situations and make it yours. (for the creator) I love how youre representing this through a game and its the most wonderful thing you could do in your situation, please dont let them get to your head and love every minute of your content-creation because this is amazing..!
amen!! this was so beautifully written. i see people hating on others creations a lot on the internet, and its wild to me. i could never do that. thats someones passion and time and hard work you're commenting on! be kind or move on. we all have our own stories and struggles and people need to be aware of that and think before they talk down to others. i thank God everyday for what he's given us. we are so blessed. thank you for the kind words 😭💖
@@wolfxdreamer6860 Ofccc, you keep doing what youre doing , you have so many people supporting you (also i love what you did to your house to make it your own, i never said anything about it because when i coomented i wasnt past the intro yet hahah but the way you put your heart into that house is beautiful and it shows you dont need much to be happy and make a house a home )
@@wolfxdreamer6860 From what I've observed, the people that get mad about these sorts of things aren't even part of the thing they're getting mad about. But anyway, the cork flooring spoke to me on a spiritual level. I haven't met anyone that had cork flooring lol but I remember our kitchen floor had it before we were able to replace them with tile.
@@wolfxdreamer6860 I have no idea to be honest. I just remember it was fun to tear off the floor and I got a bit of the cork stuck in my hand after falling on it while running through the house. 🤣
Bitch, I love you for this. I am also a (formerly) poor kid, and these are the houses I love to build & play. McMansions are fun to put together also, but I always seem to put the worst sims in those properties, I just don’t know why 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you for this!
Sigh...I'm constantly bemused by the inability of some people to just move on if they don't like something, and surprised to keep finding it in the Sims community, where personal choice is mostly celebrated. Like it or not, lower income people can't afford repairs, can't afford maintenance workers, can't buy a new roof, can't afford the paint to paint the house, etc. WE, and I'm lower middle class but that will change as I retire soon b/c too many people in this country see healthcare as optional for those who can't afford crazy, expensive insurance, can't afford to buy all of the fancy organizers, bins, etc., and likely haven't the room if we could. We hang on to outdated and lightly broken items because we can't afford to go out and buy new every time we need something. One of our favorite TV shows was "The Middle" because it literally showed what life was like for a whole bunch of us. I think we can make an argument that those judging you for your portrayal should maybe take a look in the mirror before they hit that "Comment" button.
Absolutely. Like a lot of others have said, I think the people commenting negative things likely aren’t even in these situations and somehow feel the need to “defend” people they think I’m disrespecting. I hope this video clears things up for them.
I don’t get this. Low income homes are very usually not as “clean” on the outside or inside as other homes. Poor people have less access to resources to help them clean up their siding, or pressure wash, or get new fencing, or mow, and another part of the issue is that in these homes, if we’re speaking about a “typical family dynamic” both parents are working and there isn’t ever enough money for luxuries outside the budget, much less time to deep clean a house. Most of America falls into lower middle or lower class and we are all straddling the poverty line. Claiming that you are making some kind of statement on poor people is absurd and the fact that you had to make your own home to prove that point to these people makes me sad. You have wonderful ideas and content and I’ve never seen you focus ONLY on low income builds, so as a poor person I have to say, your low income builds are not only thoughtful, but encapsulate the area in which I grew up and in which I’m still living. These are what homes in Appalachia look like. Either people are taking offense because they feel attacked, or they have no idea what the fuck they’re talking about and are being performative. Keep up the great work and don’t listen to anyone who says this kind of shit. Oh and BTW - you’re one of the sims creators who inspired me to pick up this game again. So thank you for that :3
Thank YOU!! 💖 it makes me happy to hear that inspired you to pick the game back up. Seeing people create realistic worlds with these kinds of builds inspired me to start creating them and I’m so thankful for it because I love doing it. Homes like these are absolutely the situation for the majority of people. Instead of having an issue with me, the people commenting negative things should take up their issues with someone higher up who controls the cost of living and the state of our society lol. Because we’re all just trying to get by 😩 Appreciate you 🫶🏻
Ummm… I think people are just bored and decide to say random thoughts that pop into their heads 😂. Low income person since birth here, your builds are gorgeous and break the chain of repetition we get with sims builds. Your content is more personalized and realistic, if they can’t handle that they can live their fantasy somewhere else.
Thank you for saying that! Luckily it’s not many people that seem to feel the need to crawl negative comments. Guess it just comes with the territory lol 💖
hey the filter is on the left side with all the other filters in the gallery. unless youre on console then idk if it looks the same. i also havent posted this build there yet still in offline mode during the patch shenanigans. sorry! ill try and have it up sometime this week!
I am in love with your channel! Im a 34 year old grade school teacher. :) and Sims is such a gentle relaxing hobby! The builds are so satisfying. Love just watching and enjoying your builds. So calming!
this is no disrespect to your numbers at all, but anyone thinking that youre a rich egirl based off of..what.. your channel alone?? is actually so out of touch 😭 would be nice if you could be rich without hundred thousands, millions of views 🥲 sigh i agree with everyone as well, your builds feel familiar and homely- even though im from the EU our homes interiors are usually renovated nowadays and quite “clean” even for the cheapest places(only ones ive ever lived in) but the exteriors of apartments are more rundown, the cobblestone streets are so uneven you trip while walkin on em lmao. the wear on ypur builds feels like home. maybe people from different regions are being a little too judemental :))) low income doesnt look the same everywhere, and just because for a lot of folks “run down” homes are more common doesnt mean its an attack on you, as the viewer who doesnt experience this as low income. it feels a bit like those folks are spreading the same prejudice passed down from well off people who may call us dirty, just because they can afford to constantly trash used assets of their homes for shiny new shit. we dont need to be attacking each other how our low income is supposed to look like i can understand the inital upset but i think its more of an internal thing one should really take a look at, because why is it so offensive that some of us can only afford homes like this…? we dont see this energy with all the luxury builds promoting overconsumption or whatever 😞
Exactly! Especially with a gaming related channel, it doesn’t pay as good as most other niches! I totally agree with you. It’s either people who don’t actually know this lifestyle, or people who need to do some internal work on themselves. Because when I see other creators making rundown stuff, it doesn’t offend me at all.
it’s so weird how you can’t build in your style how you like .. don’t worry about them , them type of people always gonna be hurt about something so small like its a literal game 😂 i love how you make your builds keep building them how you like cause to me i find them to be more comfortable & obviously more realistic lol , i would def live in one of your builds if i could 🩷 , but at the end of the day the world still gone spin .
@@KelseysLostFiles exactly lol people are always gonna have something negative to say. I’m not worried about it, was happy to share a little piece of myself with everyone though! I’ll never stop building the way I do lol 💖💖💖
UPDATE: the tray files and CC links have been posted! www.patreon.com/posts/112763052
Me too. I want my Sims world to be as real as possible.
Makes me feel not alone or not bad for my current living situation 🥹 it’s so cozy, warm and lived in
@@Vanyawwd 🥺 you are absolutely not alone and you shouldn’t feel bad 💖
personally the style of your builds and your whole channels aesthetic makes me feel comfy and I totally understand, people make assumptions which honestly isn't cool and you shouldn't be told things like that at all especially considering how chill you are hopefully those people stop commenting and leave you be
Thanks for the kind words 🥹💖 I love that my channel has a cozy vibe, that’s exactly what I wanted!
@@wolfxdreamer6860 Eben, du hast fast 10k Abos, da lass dich mal nicht von so ein paar Spinnern runter ziehen ♥♥♥
Yes I totally agree. Calm and cozy
You didn't have to explain yourself to any of us, but I personally appreciate hearing your story.
thank you! and i totally agree! sterile is the perfect word for it. thanks for watching :)
Yesss this is exactly what I think as well.
I love the inclusion of more lived in homes. Especially in Sims 4 where it's to clean. I love your style. I'm a new sub! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much!! Happy to have you here ☺️💖
I adore your builds, they drag out this nostalgia, reminding me of the places I grew up around, the places I still live in.
no way girl!! your style of building is my favorite. i grew up in Kentucky, in a decently very poor city. your builds convey that comfy (?) homely vibe which reminds me of home tbh. it isn't always pretty but that's okay, its lived in. that's what makes it beautiful too.
absolutely!! thank you so much 💖
I can't believe you're getting attitude for your builds.
People can have their opinions I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
One of my favorite things to do is find new CC for this kind of style.
I agree! There’s room for all the stylesss lol Thank you!! 💖
That is so true! Thank you! I will for sure keep it up 💖🫶🏻
I grew up in homes like the ones you build my whole life. A lot of people cant afford to repair things that break in their homes because theyre living paycheck to paycheck. we were lucky to get bread for the week. I love your builds bc despite growing up in homes like this they came with a lot of good memories!!
That’s so true. It rly is that way for most people. Thank you so much 💖💖💖
This is the realest channel I’ve seen when it comes to true life builds, thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you so much 🫶🏻 and thank you for watching. I appreciate you!
That is always gonna be who I am, I just like to keep it real lol
Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your story!
@@biway5942 Aw, love that. Ours is pretty cold in the winter too! But sooo soo cozy 💖

We live in a older not super run down but aged trailer in the south where these are so common so this channel feels like home. ❤
The south is super saturated with these kinds of homes and a bunch of my inspiration comes from it since I live down south too! 💖
When I watch a build that shows a bit of grunge, I feel so seen and not as embarrassed on my end. I feel less alone. I'm on low income housing as well. Thank you for sharing your story. Love what you showed me. 😊
Aw good! You should never feel embarrassed. Life is HARD!! Thank you for watching, I appreciate you so much! 💖💖
@@wolfxdreamer6860 i hear that! marketplace is 99.999% of everything i own x.x
Your builds are realistic! ignore the emails telling you otherwise.
I wanna add that we had a school bus in our yard when we lived in the double wide as well 😭
Thanks for the kind words!!
Y’all mean the world to me 💖💖💖
LOVE your builds and the grungy style. Please continue building and sharing them :) Thank you for opening up and sharing your story!
Thank you so much! I absolutely will! 💖☺️
i’m going to be so for real-you don’t owe commenters anything. don’t feel obligated to be vulnerable or share anything about yourself to defend yourself against the things people say. ik protect your peace is such a buzz phrase on tiktok right now but honestly-the people who know what you’re doing and want to watch your content already get it and won’t need you to share something to “justify” what you’re doing. you can create the audience you want in this way. it’s hard but it’s possible.
hopefully i’m not overstepping by making this comment. beautiful build, as always you knock it out of the park. :)
Not overstepping at all, and totally agree with you on that. I’ve been wanting to make a Speedbuild of my house for a while now because it fits so perfectly with my build style, but I kinda put it off until I got a few of those comments, so they gave me the push I needed to upload this tbh lol
It felt nice to share a bit of my personal life with my audience, and in turn so many of them have shared their lives with me. It’s fitting the cozy vibe I’ve always wanted in here.
But thank you, I appreciate you 💖
@@wolfxdreamer6860 then i’m glad you don’t feel pressured to share! :)
Love watching your builds while working so much. Makes me really calm and focused because of the chill nostalgic vibes lol. Thank you for showing us the process on your cute house it was very satisfying 🌼
aw love that! thank you 💖 im glad you liked it :)
Also where is all that kitchen cereal boxes and CC stuff from, is it from one your main links to a list? O:

This is the best build you have ever built. It has meaning that is power full ❤❤please keep doing you and don’t change your content 🎉🎉

aw thanks so much!! thats really sweet! i would love to do more commentary in my videos, i just never find enough time to do them as often as i'd like. but in the future i will definitely try to do it more!
I totally understand wanting to give your sims a better life 😂
Thank you for your kind words and God bless you and yours as well!

I agree! I don’t think RUclips has a block feature sadly lol not that I know of

if you know about the tvtropes page "stepford suburbia", that's what most sims worlds remind me of. i VASTLY prefer a so-called "grungier" (read: doesn't look like shot a real estate agent would take of a house) building style. great work as always wolf!

I could tell by your details in the builds that you knew this life! Lol I have only one question: is it haunted????? 😮
Haha yesss I’m very familiar with this life!!
And no!! It’s not haunted! But that makes me want to build my childhood home, which was a VERY haunted 200 year old farm 🫣

Oooh maybe small story time if comfortable? For Halloween 🎃 👀
@@Vanyawwd i think that’s a great idea 👀🫣
Oooh! If you make this video I’ll watch it! 🙋♀️
Aw thank you 😭 that’s so sweet of you to say! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video and my story 🥰 I hope your sims enjoy living in my house!! Haha
Guess it’s time lol
I really appreciate the kind words 🥺💖
@@wolfxdreamer6860 yess you def should watch it it's such a comfort show lol

this build made me subscribe...this is wholesome and awesome
Aw thank you!! Appreciate you 🫶🏻
Psssshhhhhh.
This is so special ❤ thank you for sharing a part of your life!! So cool.
Thank you so much for watching!! 🥰🥰

Thank youuu I will!! 🥰
@@marionj.9744 thank youuu I appreciate that 🫶🏻💖
I'm sorry you've received negative feedback. I personally enjoy your builds because they're realistic.
Thank you so much 🫶🏻🙏🏻 negative comments just come with the territory I guess lol 💖
Thank you 💖 it absolutely is reality. Appreciate you!
As someone who comes from low income, I never found your videos offensive in any way. If anything, it made me feel seen because most sim builds have this too perfect and clean thing going on and its kind of off-putting, so keep doing what you're doing.
I feel the same wayyy! Thank you 💖
Never seen ya before but so sorry for the backlash, you seen cool! Awesome build
thank you so much!!
your buildings always inspire me to keep playing the sims and creating this rundown buildings with a super lore LOL... and also, what are this custom windows that you use??

Frankly I’ve never felt your creations as an offense. Speaking by my heart I honestly find offensive the iper luxury of most of sims productions that really can speak to a narrow minority of people and gift the imagine of a world affordable for really few people. In this situation, you are showing a credible reality and not a dream. And reality is never offensive
Thank you for saying that 🙏🏻🫶🏻
i love this build sm!! part of why I love your content is the relatability of it (-: do you know what lot this is in-game? if not that's okay too, you did such a good job tho!
Thank you so much!! Idr the name of the lot but it’s the 64x64 in Henford on Bagley 💖💖
Idk why they didn’t realize that the reason they look so real and are so detailed are bc you’ve been there? Expecially the insides like, no one but some one who’s been there could make that realistic of an interior.
Right!! Lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thank you ❤️
Thank YOU 💖🫶🏻
My only complaint for you EVER is that you don't narrate moar of your videos.... Seriously if you did, your channel would EXPLODE! I prefer narrated videos because I like to hear your creative reasoning regarding different selections and the casual speaking as well.

Ahhhh, nothing like people that don't know anything about the person they're watching saying they're 'x', 'y', or 'z'!

@@StrangerInTheSnow yes that’s so true! Is cork flooring the click together planks? I’ve never heard that term for them!
@@wolfxdreamer6860 I have no idea to be honest. I just remember it was fun to tear off the floor and I got a bit of the cork stuck in my hand after falling on it while running through the house. 🤣
@@StrangerInTheSnow lmao sounds like a good time 🤣
Bitch, I love you for this. I am also a (formerly) poor kid, and these are the houses I love to build & play. McMansions are fun to put together also, but I always seem to put the worst sims in those properties, I just don’t know why 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you for this!
Lmao thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it💖
Sigh...I'm constantly bemused by the inability of some people to just move on if they don't like something, and surprised to keep finding it in the Sims community, where personal choice is mostly celebrated.
“It’s home…” 🥹🫶🏼
@@kelseytheresa 🥺💖
Because we’re all just trying to get by 😩
Appreciate you 🫶🏻
Ummm… I think people are just bored and decide to say random thoughts that pop into their heads 😂.
Guess it just comes with the territory lol 💖

i agree with everyone as well, your builds feel familiar and homely- even though im from the EU
our homes interiors are usually renovated nowadays and quite “clean” even for the cheapest places(only ones ive ever lived in) but the exteriors of apartments are more rundown, the cobblestone streets are so uneven you trip while walkin on em lmao. the wear on ypur builds feels like home.
maybe people from different regions are being a little too judemental :))) low income doesnt look the same everywhere, and just because for a lot of folks “run down” homes are more common doesnt mean its an attack on you, as the viewer who doesnt experience this as low income.
it feels a bit like those folks are spreading the same prejudice passed down from well off people who may call us dirty, just because they can afford to constantly trash used assets of their homes for shiny new shit.
we dont need to be attacking each other how our low income is supposed to look like
i can understand the inital upset but i think its more of an internal thing one should really take a look at, because why is it so offensive that some of us can only afford homes like this…?
we dont see this energy with all the luxury builds promoting overconsumption or whatever 😞
Exactly! Especially with a gaming related channel, it doesn’t pay as good as most other niches! I totally agree with you. It’s either people who don’t actually know this lifestyle, or people who need to do some internal work on themselves. Because when I see other creators making rundown stuff, it doesn’t offend me at all.
