I just finished watching the tutorial I purchased on the Etchr site. I learned SO much from you, Alina. The lesson on color was worth the price alone. Thank you!
I looked at several watercolor tutorials and found yours to be the most appealing in composition, technique and color. I wish you would explain more about your technique and demonstrate it in a slower, more detailed manner. Beautiful! Thank you.
Thanks a ton for such a lovely tutorial. Although i would like to see at least one part complete with the wetting of the part and to the application of paint in slow motion. As a beginner this would help
Terrific efects, cant get any better than that! Could you comment on what brand of watercolors you use? also, what brushes, and is there a certain kind of watercolor paper you prefer? the reason i ask, is to try and paint and get the same results you do.How about a little "bio" about you, art school? natural talent? Y OUR ART IS REALLY SOMETHIN G SPECIAL! greetings from the U S!
Hi Aneta, thanks so much! I have to do a whole video to go into detail 😄 But I'm gonna try to answer your questions. The brand of watercolor doesn't really matter to me, I use a variety. I like Daniel Smith, M.Graham, White Nights. I'm sure I would like other brands if I tried them. I use Arches 100% cotton rough paper. Brushes are from different brands but you can achieve similar effects with other brushes. Just get flats, round and I also like calligraphy (from Blue Heron arts and Michael Solovyev). I think I might have to do a video on brushes 😄
Love the way you use so many soft edges against the rocks! Gorgeous painting!
Thank you! Yeah I think it helps to create the water flow effects
You are really a fantastic teacher. Your explanations are clear and thorough. Thanks for the composition tips.

☺️☺️☺️
What is the knife you use to scrape the paint to lighten it a bit? I love the video.🎉
It's just a regular box knife. You just have to be careful not to damage the paper
