thanks for posting these videos!!! when i was younger i would always try to sneak into mechanical rooms to try watching at elevator motors and air conditioning systems (dangerous for a kid i know).....it's nice to see videos, and the rooms are nice and clean too haha
Today, I got to peek into the boiler room during my walk around the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that might never happen again!
Regarding looking at mechanical rooms, did (and still do) the same thing, ever since I was 5 years old. I like to have one of the building engineering staff members with me to answer any questions I have and unlock doors in the way. As a bonus, this opens up possible opportunities for job offers. The average building manager today will likely be ready to retire in the next few years, and the field of stationary engineering is looking for new employees.

There's two mechanical rooms in my school near the 8th grade wing. When I walk to 3rd hour and past them, I peek in if the doors are open. Pretty neat

That lift is a traction. Hydraulic means there is a piston powered by a hydro pump and traction is then cabled kind.

are there any dangers or anything wrong that can happen?
no signs on doors?
