  • In Create Studio 3 it is possible to lip sync a character’s mouth to the audio, but having a character speak a long time could be monotonous and turn your audience away. In this tutorial Randy provides 4 tips on how to avoid monotony.
    00:00 Lenka’s introduction
    01:00 Extend Character’s Action
    02:10 Use Multiple Actions

    Thanks for the tips. As a maker of explainer videos, I often have long monologues and I forgot about changing the facial expressions. I am now re-doing older videos, replacing the talking characters with our new 3D characters.
    Your Lenka looks great, I love her outfit.

    “That fixed it!” Ha. Your tutorials are great Randy (and Patrick). Is there a laughing action? I’m just learning about CreateStudio. Do you have a reference/affiliate link?

      Patrick and I am glad you are enjoying the tutorials. There are no laughing actions, but that sure would be a good one for CS to add. I don't have an affiliate link as I make these tutorials just for the fun of it. Have a good day, and happy creating.

      Thanks for the answer to my laughing action question. The work I'm getting into will really need a laughing character, yikes. Do you know of another character animator software? Does createstudio have a online suggestion box? I'd love a workaround (as you did with the nod yes, nod no) video if you know the secret. @@randys_tips

    Hi Randy How you added that nice progress bar!

    • @randys_tips
      @randys_tips  7 месяцев назад +2

      There is a progress bar component. If you are referring to the Create Studio logo, I took a png snapshot and used position animation to move at the same speed as the progress bar. That is how I would do it in Create Studio. I use another video software to make my tutorials and created the progress bar in that tool.

    HOW DO YOU GET ALL THOSE ACTIONS, I CANT FIND MORE

    • @randys_tips
      @randys_tips  7 месяцев назад

      When a character is selected on the timeline make sure you are in the actions panel. This is where you can select actions. If you select add new action the list of actions should appear. If this reply does not help solve your question, reply back with the character name you are using and I may be able to assist further.

    The male 3D character does not have the talking action.

      Tony, That is true that currently Tom does not have the talking action. Create Studio will be adding more 3D Creator characters and I expect they will have the talking action. They may even update Tom's action, but that is less likely.
