Definitely want to see the Toughbook up and running.
Nope.
@@pierrejeanf.dupuis4150 why?
Yes me too
@@Jacob9335wastaken As it's a very small Win95 laptop. We've seen it, kewl, something small before the One Laptop per Child project which resulted in the Asus IEEE-PC which resulted in the (brief but fun) Netbook fad.
If it starts up, it will be underpowered and run Win95... I work in the electronics department of a thrift store... 5 or 10 Euros in the bargain corner, untested as-is.
@@pierrejeanf.dupuis4150 change your mind, Pierre.
I'm really looking forward for the OEM Builder, seems really interesting
me too!
This feels like watching someone open Christmas gifts, but it's actually entertaining.
thats what i thought when watching this
your reaction to the pen was hilarious XD I'm glad you liked it!
Loved the doodle on the box!
@@Mike90317 aw thanks man!
Please make a video on the toughbook, never seen one of those so I find it really interesting
But can it run Crysis?
Someone has had a very comfortable life I see...
@@DGTelevsionNetwork actually I don't think I was born at the time this one was released and was not a thing in the country I live too
Can I donate a hug for still keeping me alive?
Probably if you drove to his house
virtual hug
Upon seeing Jaws, "I think we’re going to need a bigger boat."
Upon seeing those discs, "I think we’re going to need a bigger PC."
by god. Zilch. You are a legend
I'm just a fox.
@@zilchfox ITS ZILCH HIMSELF
I really want to see the Panasonic Toughbook!
I absolutely love small form factor laptops! That’s just amazing!
We need a larger video on that small toughbook.
Toughbook, ooooh yeah!!! And the OEM builders will be a wonderful addition to your repertoire.
I was rewarded with an MJD video by staying up late.
I woke up 40 minutes early
hah!
I just woke up. I am in my bed dreading today.
Wow that’s some treasure!!! Can’t wait to see a video about pong and the tiny laptop
WOW! I haven’t thought about the “Action Pack” in years! I worked for a small software consulting firm back in the mid 2000’s that specialized in .NET development and we had the “Action Pack” as part of our Microsoft ISV Partnership. There was a partnership portal where you got points for completing various milestones as a partner. Microsoft was very generous back then with helping small shops like ours who partnered with them and the Action Pack was some really low nominal fee. We ran all of our internal stuff using a server running Windows Small Business Server. Honestly, it was a very underrated product. It was basically a turnkey system for small Microsoft based shops. Great memories!
MJD: Microsoft CRM
Me: *Vietnam flashbacks*
what
@@Granny_Gaming CRM = Customer Relationship Management. It's a ticketing software and a (modern) version of it made me quit my last job after I started having daily nightmares about it.
@@GdotWdot Ok?
@@Granny_Gaming ok
Yesss an in depth review of that beautiful Panasonic, please.
Microsoft used to send regular updates for the Action Pack which got added to the binder, so it did fill up pretty quick (I think the blue discs were the originals and the other style came as updates). There was also Partner stuff like a magazine, sales kits and occasionally plastic boxes with leaflets, posters and other resources. I seem to remember when the software binder format was discontinued you had to switch to TechNet. Then the software and keys were online and they sent a TechNet magazine. Both were pretty good value back then. Great to see this!
It took me such a long time to figure out what was going on with the finger on the thumbnail lol
I want to see PONG The Next Level being played on that tiny computer 😄 Also looking forward to the OEM stuff! How cool
That Toughbook video is definitely gonna be a treat!
looking forward to seeing all of that stuff.. awesome that you have a continuous flow of content.
Dang how do these guys have the coolest things ever
Just incase, OPK = OEM PreInstall Kit. Its a set of scripts used by OEMs to preinstall software onto the computer without a key in such a way that when the customer turns the machine on they get the license agreement and are asked for a key. They did them for Windows, IE and Office AFAIK. They're actually pretty convoluted tools and won't be easy to demonstrate since the intended use case would be to create preinstall images used by OEMs on thousands of machines though the unattended scripts for Windows became pretty common as they are used in tools like NLite.
Please archive the CDs after you make the videos!
The world needs to see the Baby Toughbook
Wow, what great donations! Love your videos!!
Oh yeah, I need to see more about that Toughbook!
love the videos MJD, keep it up
I thought I knew Toughbooks but that little squirt is amazing!
These donations are amazing
Awesome video, Michael!
Thanks!
I used to work at a local PC shop building PC's and stuff and we had a LAN Café, we had an action pack tho the one we had was black with brown trim, really cool pack to have along with the 10 keys you get for each disc
Are size comparisons to the Windows ME pen going to be a thing on the channel now? :P
I remember that schools also had these maps with cd's and licenses. (I had this login from Windows and was able to download all the iso's and license keys) I've seen this before like 15 years ago at my school and now seeing it again :)
I really appreciate your videos ngl :)
I love those 90's 3D remakes from Hasbro. I have the same Pong one, as well as a one for Frogger. They work quite nicely on 64-Bit Windows 10 without the compatibility wizard or OTVDM.
Yes, I want to see the laptop and the OEM stuff for sure.
NOW THAT WHAT CONTENT I AM LOOKING FOR!!!
YES! I would like to see Toughbook made by Panasonic. Thanks!! Alex
Another great michael mjd video!
your welcome for the Toughbook Michael make sure you you tighten up the dock screws to keep the dock in place when using it! but man i'd love to see Michael do a video on the Toughbook
we can all agree that tiny toughbook is so cute.
Wow! Very cool video!
thats a lot of donations!
Microsoft Partners are independent businesses that typically provide services to customers in the Microsoft eco-system. Today, you get access to a download site. The reason we get access to this software is both to build internal competence on the software and to demo for customers.
I always look forward to seeing your new videos
We miss you old friend"Windows XP"
You were the best... Until 7 arrived 🤣🤣 But seriously you were the best....
Until 7 arrived
im addicted to your videos for some reason lol

Zilch is a legend.
Not a legend, just a fox.
I also have an Windows XP Home SP1a disc that came with an old Compaq SR desktop from 2005. I also digitized it into an .iso file.
I would like a full video on this small Toughbook since I've never knew this model existed.
What a cute toughbook ;)
SQL server, oem builder, all of this stuff would be very interesting to watch
Meanwhile the only OEM disk I have is the Windows 95 Preinstallation Disk 1... which was overwritten with MS-DOS 6.22 and Check-It.
yess make a video on the toughbook
Interesting vid MJD
Woooooo! The ToughBook! The "Waterproof" unbreakable laptop!
the MS Office preinstallation kit seems the most interesting to me (software side)
OW MY GOD!!!! I REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT PANASONIC WORKING!!!!!!! Please, please, please, please!!!!
Please make a video about the history of the windows 2000 development
2005 was 16 years ago... That just sunk in
Nice!
yayy mjd video!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take a look at all that OEM preinstallation stuff on the Toughbook.
You are a really really lucky guy! I’m really jealous of you 😃
That hitcher 2 disk is a full screening disk. I think it may be for a movie theater?
I just going to ask you to review a ThoughBook!
YES I WANT TO SEE IT
Ah yes a dose of MJD videos
I want to see that Toughbook and those Microsoft software
No joke, I found that Microsoft action pack thing at a boot sale in the uk here for 50p.

So much vids coming! Actually I am a macOS/Windows Developer
I have that exact toughbook that's in need of a new motherboard... haven't had luck with ebay...
(9:00) Ah yes, a piece of paper with "Click Here" written on it. Click on the paper?!?! 🥴
I remember seeing stuff like that before. One on a flyer, and then someone's college who provided printed papers containing play buttons for videos.
Look at all of that *saftware*
Mm yes we must see a video on the Toughbook but will you show us some of your "pong the next level" skills in that video lol
Oh shit, a Toughbook M33. Business rugged.
How about a video on XP2ESD?
No way! Pong: The Next Level! I have that on PS1!
13:06 yes
The Hitcher 2 on DVD? I'm fairly certain at this point Alex is just sending you random crap he doesn't want anymore. In his next donation box: A slightly broken omelette maker and a faded "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirt.
I forgot Pong The Next Level even existed!
Question, I have a copy of Flight Simulator II for the Apple II and III (I think) on 5 and a half inch floppies. Do you hardware to run it?
4:31 OMG that's crazy
i like how he zooms on random stuff
13:8 yes
Virtual PC would be interesting, sounds like some kind of VM software
Simple answer. Yes
I have Microsoft Volume Licence CD case. Like this one in video but one layer. Yes with softwares but volume licences.
Ah yes the Panasonic BrickBook
One cool thing is, these things look like a time capsule...
I have no clue what MS CRM is but it would be neat to see a video explaining what it did or what it was/is
I'm just really curious if has any wireless communications (Ex wifi) as it's so small
Hey Michael, I've been watching your channel for a few years now and I had this idea for a while now. You should try to install FreeBSD and try to get to a graphical interface (FreeBSD is shipped with only command line so you will have to install the graphical server, window manager, and desktop enviroment on your own).
