I find it funny that Greg is talking about something he doesn't have to worry about. It's still good to know though.
Level 6 and 7, a good hat can help, unless you are willing to try a samurai type hairstyle which might be interesting but perhaps not for everyone otherwise go full bald. That's my opinion. Good info Greg!
thank you greg! as always I enjoy watching all Beardbrand Alliance videos, now I know you are different than barber videos, you talk about confidence, grooming, style ,routine and maybe some Vlogs some days! the only channel I see every video of it, thank you again and keep on growing!
I'm 22 and at pretty much level 2-3. I've been bald now for most of the last 3 years and I love it. Looks great with a well shaped beard
You're a great man Greg. I love all the things you share. ♥️
A guy with a perfect hairline talking about balding. Interesting
Lol I’m sure Greg has buddies around his age that he talks to about this stuff, and I’m sure Greg does his own research about hair growth in general too
Like an 8% BF gym YT'er relating to being fat =)
Great video, Greg.. but I think you definitely should have added the very most life changing solution to balding that has only gotten better and better in the past years, the FUE hair transplant.
Reached a Norwood level 3 at age 37 and after a lot of research finally took the plunge 5 weeks ago. While I cannot attest to the results from my own experience so far (as it takes a full year to see the final results), I am well on my way back to the juvenile hairline I used to have in my teens and early 20´s.
Would definitely recommend more men balding and having issues with MPB to read more about hair transplants and FUE´s.

Hi greg
I am 23 years old, and I started losing hair since I was 17
I use finasteride and minoxidil to prevent my hair from falling out, but I think in some time I will need a hair implant
Tips for dealing with alopecia while I am young and can I afford the transplant?
Thanks Greg
A hug from Colombia
Im 17 goin through the same thing. When did u start fin and did it help much?
@@jakeparker6707 I started using minoxidil at 19 years old and I have been using finasteride since I was 22 years old, if you use both, you will maintain and improve your hair, in addition to stopping the loss; but if you stop using it for such a short time (2 weeks) the rebound effect is very strong and you end up losing follicles
(M/39) I find myself around the #3 image in terms of losing crown. My issue is I've let my hair grow out over the last 18 months and, while hair isn't quite as long as B-man's, it's sitting nicely on my shoulders. I'm always a bit self conscious though when hair is either wet or gets oily, I might look like I have that thinning crown which might be noticed and judged =/. From front/sides back I have good coverage and natural curling at length of hair, giving appearance of more volume.
Great content in this video and very well researched and presented Andre (Tennis) and Jason (Actor) both look good bald 👍
I have a receding hairline and thinning, so I just shave it all off, but keep a nice big beard. I love the look and shaving my head is a very relaxing task. I take my time while listening to podcasts, music, the open Bible app etc. Plus, I surf, so going surfing in the cool water the day after a head shave feels so nice.
Nice, my friend - taking ownership over your grooming journey is the key to building confidence and style - Keep On Growing. 🤜 Sly
Usually guys with perfect hair just piss me off.. You're an exception Greg :)
wow a full shaved head with beard 😍 i think many people will follow you and grow beard and shave
I’m a 2, I think it looks not bad with a bit of recession, kinda like ed skrein’s hairline. I just don’t want it to continue receding
Absolutely nothing wrong with Ed Skeins hairline, if it stays like that you'll be just fine!
I’m 36 and my dad was bald. I’m praying it skips me. But I feel like the line at my forehead is thinning
Dan Paul he’s not bald. He just has thin hair in the front
Level 7 with a ponytail also known as The George Carlin.
As for what you should do in the future when you're ready to ditch the long hair based on passed videos I always thought the best look for you was a couple inches on sides and back with a nice taper up to a little more length on top. Somewhere around 4-5 months from a barbershop cut. Enough length to style it up and look classy but also enough to basically leave it alone and let it do it's think on a casual day.
For me I've decided to at least go the full 2 years and keep that for a bit and when I get ready for a change in going to donate it to a company that makes wigs for kids that survived cancer and then rock a military style buzz cut for the first time since I was a kid. Provided of course I have a fuller beard by then.
I’m at level 3, time to get take care of it. Yet again genetics
I TRIED TO STOP MY HAIR LOSS WHEN I WAS YOUNG NOTHING HELP I AM BALD NOW
What if ur bald with a horseshoe mullet, how do we approach haircut?
Have shaved my head for years. Contrary to what most full head of hair guys think, to most guys like me, a full head of hair is the least of our concerns. It's our "style" , just like your long hair is yours. I have an awesome beard btw, I would rather be bald with a great beard, than have a full head of hair and an insignificant or patchy beard. Staying fit, well groomed, and well dressed, X's out the oversignificance of a full head of hair. It's a well known fact that balding or bald guys have higher levels of testosterone.
No man. Ir you want to look like an outlaw/Biker/cowboy you are fucked my friend!
@@henryavery4461 You might want to start taking some testosterone supplements from the looks of your pic
@@hiflyer1168 HAHAHAHA Man if you knew it. Thats years ago. Iam much better now you priek.

Love beardo❤❤❤❤
Make my beard like you 😊
Anyone know what system Sly Stallone uses? It looks quite natural.
What about Jack Nicholson hairstyle?! Long balding hairstyle, why not?
He sports his hairstyle with such confidence, it actually makes him appear all the more cool. Rather than taking great effort to hide baldness, we should learn to embrace it.
Not gonna lie, it bothered me a lot when I was young. Now, I could care less and wonder if I did have hair, would I shave it anyway? Yep, probably. BTW, do you just have good genes or have you used products, etc. to keep your hair? Anyway, I use a buzz cutter and a guard 1 and then touch up the neck line with a 0. Done in about 10 minutes.
this guy's hair is pure genes, it's completely impossible to get that hair with any product
The weight of long hair pulls it out. The stress of tight pulled back long ponytail hair pulls it out.
If the weight of long hair pulled it out how come female pattern baldness isn't a thing?
@@StrappingYoungLadam because women and men have different DNA.
@@gracegeek4678 But hair follicles are hair follicles. Our hair is the exact same. Baldness is all about genetics or over stress of the follicle which I will give you tying back tightly too often can lead to recession.
All these examples and no Patrick Stewart? Psshhhh! OG badass bald dude.
Totally. He's a great example too
-Ben
Greg I'd suggest try crew cut. You'd rock 👍
Of course they put up a video on hair loss after seeing the comments about a balding man trying to rock a mullet.
Pretty coincidental, it wasn't planned. 😎 -Sly
"I'm going to give you a solid 7" sorry mate I'm not that way inclined. 😂
Who else is terrified watching this video but still with hair
Can you suggest some things foe level 3
I'd recommend going with a hairstyle that's relatively short on the sides and medium length on top - think, Daniel Craig or Michael Fassbender. Check out this guide for more information and insporation. bdbd.us/3aisEGm 😉 -Sly
I'd keep it long like you have it. If you had any split ends, I'd have those attended to. Other than that, you rock the long hair. But to be honest here, the lighting you had for your video was not flattering--I kept seeing your nose hair.
I believe that you can stop hair loss before it's too late
Rogaine
@@samuell3bara888 not necessarily I use rosemary oil I prepared it home with paraffin and rosemary no gain but no more loss
@@aburaccoon7375 ill keep it in mind. Thanks brother :)

Stay safe folks, peace from Dublin Ireland
I'm in Dublin now in hotel but going back to Gorey today
Warrior?
You just got to accept it and shave it off 😂
Imagine getting a like from Greg
I'm transgender, so I only started losing my hair when I started taking testosterone in my mid 20's. I look like a man now, but I started out as a girl in life. I'm pretty sure I have MPB despite I'm female, because of the testosterone I'm taking, which causes DHT to release and affect the hair just the same. But if I had been male, maybe my hair would've started thinning in my teens already. Because it seems like I'm going through all 7 stages fairly fast.
I mean it's hard to guesstimate how fast, as I'm still only at stage 4 currently, but I'll probably be entirely bald on top before age 40 (I'm 31 now) judging by the rate of thinning so far, and my genetics. I only have one male relative who lost his hair, which was my late grandfather, who was clearly at stage 7 when I was a kid. Generally I'm okay with my hair loss now, but I've sure panicked and been in denial about it before.
Most likely I'm not gonna try to prevent or delay it, but just let it happen, and also not try to hide it. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of. It's just hair. I have long hair now and I plan to keep that horse shoe long, and like only shave it on top to keep it neat. Then keep the remaining hair in a long braid as it grows out more. Inspired by the Chinese Qing Dynasty monks. I'm also growing my beard out long. I don't think you have to keep the horse shoe super short or shaven to look good. A longer style can be really iconic, if you have the guts to do it confidently.
George Carlin and Jack Nicholson did it really well, but then they're also quite eccentric men who're not afraid to stand out.
What I think about guys who get a tupee or pigmentation... No one likes losing their hair. How others cope with it is up to them. I'm not gonna judge them for that. Just like I'm not gonna judge bald women who wear wigs either, even though tons of women look amazing with a bald head. But I hope they are, or at least one day will be, at peace with whatever is or isn't on their heads. It's what's inside the head that matters, after all.
Once you get past level 5 just shave your head.
Man, what happened to you?
Hair loss advice from you......sit down
Greg please get a haircut! The long hair In my opinion doesn’t look good on you! Makes you look older actually! You look more handsome when you have it nice and short. Peace ☮️
He's a grown man, he'll wear his hair however the heck he wants
lalakerspro 😆
You want the whole world to look the same basically. Please keep your opinions to yourself as my view it looks amazing
@@andycash9143 i totally agree with you and it's actually offensive when someone tell you to get a haircut just because they don't like your look and btw i think greg is rocking the long hair and it may be the dream of any man to be 60's or 50's and have that hair
Actually it doesn’t look bad it looks like Santa Claus
