I’m so devastated, not just for the families who have income from the app and now have lost it. But also for all the inclusive spaces it offered, the information we gained, the community that was formed!!! People were able to get the financial , legal, or even just therapy from tiktok.. and they just took a lot of peoples lifelines. I also know that them being able to just ban an app and decide that our free speech wasn’t truly free, and tried to hide it under the guise of “national security threats” can only mean further censorship from the government. And I think that’s the scariest part of it, it’s watching America become dystopian everyday. Our world is starting to match the book 1981 and Fahrenheit 451, and hundreds of others.. it’s just frustrating and frightening that more people aren’t speaking out
It's a blatant disregard for the average American who was creating and income for themselves and their families. I don't understand the negativity towards these creators. Content creation is a real job. Keep going. Bring your tiktok charm here on RUclips! 🩷🩷
