Yeah, i could imagine such a phone aslong its slim enough, but the actual N93, aswell as the N93i were easily TOO THICK. I had the N93, damn nice "smart"phone these days, not as versatile as my previous, more "professional PDA", the Qtek 9000 with windows mobile 5.0 i really loved these days In fact i would say the Qtek9000s design was even more impressive than the camcorder/flipphone combination of the N93. It was more like a early, very small notebook/tablet convertible. I even ran a modified/ported wolfenstein 3D version on this device in 2005, and the XScale CPUs these days were nice and fun to overclock :D
Imagine the same design in today's world, much slimmer and larger display. With so much scope of adjusting the best camera setup, that the youtubers would die for. I m trying to imagine it in my first comfortably while looking at what I'm recording and making a vlog. So much convenient
My father had this and he later gave that to me. I was soo happy to own it. Literally everyone from my school used to be amazed to see this. Man I miss those time when nokia’s phones were the real deal.
This phone was used in a succesful movie, "The Bourne identity". In a scene where some bad guys were trying to catch Jason Bourne(Matt Damon), one of the guys was filming & streaming live to his boss could wach the capture. Amazing phone back then!!
My uncle had this and he knew back then that I am fond of playing with interesting gadgets, so he let me play with it and take pictures in our garden. Happy memories.
IMagine Nokia putting this out now but updated 2k screen, dual ozo speakers, better xenon flash, have Zeiss make a custom new zoom lens since it can physically zoom in, ten times more advanced battery Keep everything else the same I would buy it and never touch a smart phone again
Back in 2008, i remember one of my school mate was telling me about the capabilities of this phone especially about all the swivels that it can do . But personally I felt this was too ambitious and yes back then most feature and smartphones only had digital zoom and not optical. Many were still relying on point and shoot camera or DSLR to take high quality stills. Even today, many mid range smartphones lack optical image stabilization.
So many here like me, it was a dream to have such a masterpiece, and after some years(decades axax) i finally find one working masterpiece Nokia N93i This is the best phone design ever
this kind of stuff just make you keeping asking "when the manufacturers lost the way" design? no , innovation? not anymore , dare? I dont think so could you imagine the blast in those years for the owner of this beauty , when I dont know in a concert , everybody most probably filming that on VGA quality and then the guy takes out of hist pocket this beauty and turned into a handycam? thats nuts ! also look at that "glance screen" ehem I mean "always on display" back on 2007 with clear view and real useful information and even animations ahh man when we will see something like this again? probably never I guess and manufacturers seems "comfortable" enough to never try again just look Nokia nowadays for instance yeah I know they need to go "slow" in order to make some profit but they are stick with that awful water drop Notch , they are exactly similar to any phone right now in the market with not soul at all which is very sad anyway man thanks for the awesome video as usual
Well, i had the N93 (non-i), it was a damn cool phone. Ofc many others were much more robust, smaller,.. But who cares, i had a bigger screen for watching series or sometimes even movies i compressed and set the resolution down, i could play some cool games, didnt even realized this time 3D games were rare on mobile devices lol I really loved the N93. And guess what i had before - A Qtek 9000, even a better and bigger screen than the Nokia N93, but the N93 was much more compact (the Qtek 9000 was totally annoying in any pocket, the N93 not so much)
Hahaha, thank you Abdulla, in very lengthy hindsight (time travel?) you might have helped me save my money, as (if you remember me from previous vids), at the time I was really looking at what Nokia had to offer, and having had the likes of the N72, N73, N80 etc, I'm glad I still went for the N95 8Gb, though for a very short while I was tempted by the sheer bonkers design and audacity that the Nokia designers/engineers had to show the world with this phone... Hahaha All the best fella, and yet again, great work on another high quality production.... 😎🇬🇧
I just miss the days of being so excited about picking a phone because of all the cool form factors. Now it's a bore haha. Thanks for sharing your story!
@@AbdullaZaki no problems fella, I feel you when it comes to 'innovative designs'. It's why I never have, don't and never will subscribe myself as an iSheep lol. Every year a 'Brand new phone' comes out, and barely anything to make it improved over last year's model, and yet Apple will 'snake oil sale' followers into the illusion it's a must have! And yet, the saving the planet boast, is contradicted by the likes of Zach (JerryRig), Luis Rossman, and Hugh Jeffreys - all world renowned experts in their field, say completely opposite.... Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 Man, they were the days when the lipstick Nokia, the 3650, 7600, 5510, 5210, 7900 Prism were weird, and maybe not so good/useful, but... At least they had a spark of imagination! All we get now is.... Slab slab slab slab hahaha. Ok... Flip 3, Fold 3, and these new rollable phones are starting to maybe bring some 'New Age Quirky'(?) Into the mix... We'll see.. Aaaaaanyhooo... Look forward to your next one. Oh. Ps... Think the Nokia Tab SHOULD have had a SD480 and at least been sold with 4Gb Ram (3Gb... Really? In nearly 2022?). Yeah I would pay another £30 extra, if I had a little more piece of mind say... 🤔😎🇬🇧
There's also room for a T30/T40 etc, so I can understand why they cut some corners as even 30 £ would make a difference in many emerging markets. I've noticed in a lot of markets they won't even sell the 3/32 for consumers., it's more of an enterprise version
It looks like a phone from the future. And it's 3x Optical Zoom deserves an honourable mention as smartphones these days are equipped with useless Macro & Depth sensors instead of that the manufacturers must put a 3x Optical Zoom lens or at least a 2x Optical Zoom.
Just image a modern version of this phone with modern features like108MP camera, 888 soc with latest android. I am instantly sold. I know Nokia today have nothing to do with old Nokia. But making Xiaomi like phones and selling at 3x price would not help them in any way. They should take notes what made Nokia so great back then and so loved even today.
Nokia gave all their tech to customers and never tried to limit customers from the full functionality for additional price. Removable batteries, zeiss lenses, headphone jacks, sd card expansion, and chargers for God's sake.
The design of this is stunning!
Don't forget to support the channel by liking the video :)
Asalam alaikum ,love from India
I'm from India, and tell me brother where can I buy old Nokia devices(symbian, windows, meego)
Nice phone bro 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Ur videos r so awesome bro MashaaALLAH
Subscribed 🙂🙂❤️
Correction: everybody loved it. Everybody wanted it. Only a few could afford it. And for those who couldn't, "grapes are sour"
The amazing part is, these retro phones now look so futuristic!
Raging Demon
Only look.
Noo 😂😂

Same story here haha.
We miss this time
There is no nostalgia for me…because back in 2007 I can’t even dream to buy this phone…😜
Facts
Few people could afford the Nokia N9X series, they were the best and most expensive phones in their time...
This phone was used in a succesful movie, "The Bourne identity". In a scene where some bad guys were trying to catch Jason Bourne(Matt Damon), one of the guys was filming & streaming live to his boss could wach the capture. Amazing phone back then!!
Thanks for reminding me of that, really cool :)
Nokia N93i was also in the movie Transformers. It turned in to a small robot
Wow Nokia used to produce fantastic phones back then, they were number 1
An engineering masterpiece... Phones were definitely fun back then !!!
A modern version of that camera system would be sick to see
Imagine what wonders that form factor could do with today's camera technology.
My uncle had this and he knew back then that I am fond of playing with interesting gadgets, so he let me play with it and take pictures in our garden. Happy memories.
Back in 2008, one of my classmates had it, and I asked him for testing. It burned me so hard, but I still did not have money to buy it at that time.
How much was it on 2008?
Imagine a foldable phone like this today with a monster of a camera, who would need a DLSR anymore
i saw this phone in a magazine when i was still a kid in 2000s and was really fascinated. it has never left my mind since then
I'm a huge fan of Nokia, and your channel is godsent, keep up the good work bro
Thank you :)
Nokia had the balls to pull such off..
I wish companies these days were at least half as ballsy.
Imagine if this design came back with modern tech. Think of the kind of camera you could fit in that, think of all the applications for that screen
One of my dream phone back then. Ended up having an N90. Damn I miss those day where nokia is the best! ❤️
Nokia always legend👍🏻❤️
IMagine Nokia putting this out now but updated
2k screen, dual ozo speakers, better xenon flash, have Zeiss make a custom new zoom lens since it can physically zoom in, ten times more advanced battery
Keep everything else the same
I would buy it and never touch a smart phone again
Symbian software is still for smartphones! 💯
By updated 2k screen you mean, bigger updated 2k screen?
@@EUCLlD no I mean 1440p AMOLED
I still have this phone. It was my dad's old phone. It was amazing! This mobile could take fantastic pictures and videos.

2008! It would have been around then the first iPhone was the next big craze and Nokia was pushed to the side.
I used this phone when in college. Hope Nokia make N93i reborn
Nokia was good and with the description from Abdullah, it became better still. Good luck to Nokia and best wishes to Abdullah.
So many here like me, it was a dream to have such a masterpiece, and after some years(decades axax) i finally find one working masterpiece Nokia N93i This is the best phone design ever
This is nostalgic Nokia back then. I really appreciate Nokia even now. Phones look cool and look unique as these days. I really love this phone.
Treat to watch this devices now... Need a Nokia fan like you... Keep going
Breathing intensifies 💨 How can it be so beautiful 😍
No one can dare to complain about this gem, this phone is real gimmick.
I had used this phone in my graduation days, it was D best phone with 2 displays
I had N95 in 12 years ago and it was golden period for multimedia lovers and Nokia itself but now unfortunately nokia is nowhere.
If this type of phones comes back again it wil hit the market like a storm .
Im in freakin LOVE with your videos! 💙
That awesome optical zoom. So cool to see the lens inside actually moving!
In the early 2000s we lived in the future. Nokia please come back with the ancestral concepts.. I bet your sales will sky rocket.
This was my dream phone earlier 😍...
my favourite phone ever.
I've had 4 of this (2 silver,2 black).
Probably,I'm going to buy it again, for personal phone.
😍
Had mine stolen at an internet cafe in 2008. Part of my soul crushed that day… would love to buy it again if got a chance to
They need to bring this phone back in a more updated version with better MP than the cameras on the market, it’ll probably go crazy !!
Unfortunately 'they' don't make phones anymore. HMD uses Nokia label but isn't Nokia.
It will be amazing if we can have a new version of this
I don't care how iPhone & Samsung became top leading smartphone companies defeating Nokia, Nokia will always be remembered.
Legends Never Die.
I love this phone even to this day. I do hope they re-release this form factor as an alternative to the foldables of today.
The video editing on the device is amazing
I'm still looking for one, this model looks so good
great video and very cool shots
NOKIA has always been incredible.
My dream phones when I was high school back then. Hope to have this soon. Nokia is legend.
I love this phone in 2007-to today
Old is Gold.. Thats it!
I remember this was the coolest phone, rare and the most expensive back then.
I had a N73 in 2008, but this was my dream phone.
Every 90's kinds crush... I wish i could have this
Thank you
I feel happy when i see you😍💪 keep going💪
Thank you :)
Nokia should remake this masterpiece
i used to daily drive this for 3 years, it was a gaming beast kekw
Why are both you and Nokia so underrated?
btw: can you do a review on Nokia 8110 4g?
We will both rise together :p
Yes. But why aren't you verified on RUclips?
I think I need 100,000 subscribers to apply or something.
Btw I've already done a small video on the 8110, it's on the channel
Nokia was like a fever dream of a young dude who would be see technology from future. Only difference was Nokia would bring those dreams to reality
this phone reminds me of my dormant E90. take it for a day. such nostalgia

Back with THE old cool designs! With todays tech!
ah SymbianOS, after a long long time finally we meet again
when this phone was announced back then, I am still study in University! I love nokia phones back then!
oh my! nostalgic
Allways wanted one of these back then. The N97 was my last nokia (still have it). Sometimes I miss the full qwertz keybord.
My father bought this for 959$ on the release date then my uncle bought this in the next 3 months for only 599$
One of my wishlist for collection
Still one of my dream phone.
With modern tech this concept would make a god tier vlog camera

Check again most flagship these days use periscope lens to achieve 5,10,100x optical zoom
Timeless Design!🙌🌟💯
I dreamed of having one of these, but I then went down the Communicator with it's "high quality" camera.
i had this back in 2008

first nokia phone/Symbian phone with 3x optical zoom, first phone with capability to record VGA video resolution, and camcorder looks like👍👍👍

Good times :(
As the old saying goes, "being early is the same as being late".
Very true for Nokia
What a phone ❤️
you know back then there is a taco-phone, point and shoot digital camera phone, and "camcorder phone", nowadays every phone are just slap of bricks.
I would very much like to buy the Advanced version of this Phone in current time
