      Could you please explain?? I’m also interested in it and I’ve heard different experiences. And which center are you in cause each is different. Is it true that you can’t drive or use your cellphones? How about the weekends? Also, could you leave the premises for like the gym and stuff?

    I went to Job Corp twice and it was a great experience for me, you go there open minded and ready to achieve your goals.

    Wow crazy thing i was offered welding at SD JC, NGL I'm planning on doing job corps next year and this time I'm doing san Diego job corps for welding and maybe plastering, and i hope to benefit and build better skills there since also PHX JC really didn't do me justice
    And if I do go to San Diego Job corps, the only thing I expect to finish there is my welding program and my driver's license those are the main 2 for me 😊 I'm in AZ by the way lol

      Hi, Rebekah. Job Corps is self-paced, meaning you can train and learn at your own pace. Campus staff and instructors will be there to help you every step of the way, and you'll also have access to additional support and resources if you need it. I encourage you to stay in contact with an admissions counselor - they’ll be able to answer any questions and address any concerns you may have.       Hi, Noel. Thank you for your interest! There are a few eligibility requirements to meet before you can start training at Job Corps. For example, you should be 16-24 years old, income-eligible, and a U.S. citizen (or lawfully admitted permanent resident alien, refugee, asylee, or other immigrant who has been authorized to work in the United States). You can speak with an Admissions Services staff member by calling 800-733-JOBS (5627) or visiting enroll.jobcorps.gov/.

      Hello, Hason. Job Corps allows animals on campus only if they are a support or comfort animal. Requests for service or comfort animals are assessed on a case-by-case basis. I encourage you to reach out to an admissions counselor or Disability Coordinator to discuss possible reasonable accommodations.
