    The only problem I have with apartments is that they are getting even more compact at a higher price than a modest home property and every one is trying to normalize living inside a small confined spaces like a sardine in a can.

      I have a friend who the same layout (and I supposed square footage) in LA. He was single and traveled a lot and it was a perfect apartment for him.

    It’s great if the electricity is working. If there is a power outage, you will be on the couch. If the bed is malfunctioning, you may be stuck in that thing.

      It's brand new. And got an occupancy permit. The building probably has a generator. And yeah, I could sleep on that huge couch!

    470sft. is not micro. That is a small 1 bedroom or large studio. I'm in a 518 sft 1 bdrm and it's ample and comfortable just for 1 person. Micro is usually when the builder has to apply for variances from the department of permitting to build something that is the smaller than the smallest current legally allowed unit (in the name of affordability). It depends on what city you are in, but it could be

      I used to live in a 545 SQ foot apt that had a walk in closet + a w/d in unit. If they actually planned these apartments well space wouldn't be an issue but they don't so they're all awful.

    I love the look of this apt but I feel that's too expensive especially when you consider places like South Korea and Japan where they do the same type of micro apt designs for more affordable prices.

    This is sooo much better than my $3250/month studio………. The only perks my apartment had were the location between 5th and 6th, on 18th street, and a window in the kitchen.

    this is why i purchased, my mortgage is low, and in a few years ill prob rent it for 4x my mortgage, i feel very bad for renters, but it did take me 7 years of renting to finally purchase a place

    Hell no. My BOOKS would need about 3times as much space. Where's the TV, &audio/computer/work space??? Need to see the kitchen and bath room... I pay$530. AND it has a"handicapped accessible" bathroom (for wheelchair)

    I pay $1,200 for a 1,030 sq foot 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in Austin. So fuck no lmfao I wouldn’t pay more than $1,500 for a 2 bedroom let alone paying nearly 4 grand for a 1 bedroom.

    You can buy a 5000 square ft house with an in-ground pool and ten acres of land for that monthly payment where I live.
