I was watching this other channel that is all pond forming lol, just a guy in a backhoe shaping the earth around ponds ha! Find is so relaxing. Same thing with your gig, lol! Who knew that watching a dude clean off concrete would be so relaxing, ffs. lol I mean, Iv been thinking about it, and obviously I'm not the only one, same goes for the restoration channels. Something supper soothing about the sand blasting chambers, I could watch that all weekend, lol. Anyway, I think personally it feeds my OCD. They call OCD a disorder, but I like to just call it a positive distraction, Ha! I don't see it as a disorder because I have lived a complete life being fussy about details and making sure to get in all the corners, lol. I've done my time in the workforce. As an old guy now, if I want to watch a tractor shave the edges of giant ponds into sloping curves for 5 hours and ramble on anonymously on the internet all weekend, I will. lol Anyway, I bet you are surprised as anyone that people would get the same satisfaction of power spraying the lawn's edge along the sidewalk, ffs. lol. I walk over grass sidewalks all the time. I just moved to this little town in the mid-west and I have a feeling I thinkI know where a brick sidewalk is from a long time ago might be. @@Slayadrian While that is true, I do think theres other things in play here. Using a powered edger you'll get a clean cut instead of the ziggy cut the HPW is giving. Depending on what material you have beneath, and the amount of pressure your machine can do, you'll most likely end up damaging the tile/stone beneath. While it may not be visible to start off with, simply wait for winter and see the frost damages :-) So, edging = lasts longer, looks better, doesnt damage tile/stone as much.

He's a nice guy. I'm sure he does a lot for people that he doesn't film. But the important thing to remember for ALL of these "I did this job for free" videos is that this is a business. He does the job for free and then he posts the videos on RUclips to make his money for it. And he makes a hell of a lot more by doing that than by charging the people a couple hundred bucks or whatever. That isn't meant to say anything bad about him or anyone else, I'm just explaining the business model. It's a very, very good strategy. It makes the people who do these look like the nicest guys in the world and they typically make more money doing it this way. Of course, a person could also charge the customer money and also film it to put on RUclips, but then they wouldn't get to brag about doing it for free and making everyone think they're just super nice. 😂

Curve appeal ... begins with pressure washed/edged driveways, sidewalks and patios - A+. Cut grass/bushes and clean (exterior/Interior) gutters and pressure washed brick/wood/siding ... can make ANY house stand out or noticed. Home value shows tremendously when pressure washed from time to time. MORE than the decor or lack there of on the inside.

This is an amazing job. After the clean up I’m not gonna lie that broken piece that was covered up by grass is an eye sore. I hope they get it fixed if they are able.
I thought it was a decorative sort of cobble path when it was revealed with brick edging. But then he cleaned the rest of the pathway and then it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Do you ever feel like you're in a mud puddle and the water and mud just won't move and cooperate? Well, if not, I was frustrated enough for both of us!! What do you do when there's an uphill on both ends and the water just refuses to drain?? What do they do with the mud and grass tossed on the grass? Does it just die and is munched when they next mow? Fantastic job finding those sections of sidewalk!! Really good job!! Thank you for what you do to help people!!

A good edger whacker for cutting the edges would speed up the whole process, then shoveling off the dry (not soaked) lawn edging debris, then have a clear way for pressure washing what remains.
I agree with John, it looks sharper when people use an edger first and get rid of the dry dirt before you use the power washer. just using the power washer gives me more anxiety seeing the mud being thrown around. I'm having a hard time watching these videos.

My guess is that there’s a utility that runs beneath it that couldn’t be moved. Easier and cheaper to pull up and reinstall separate pavers/blocks than to tear up a solid concrete section if it ever needed work done to it.
Do you ever have to warn people that it will look bad until it's finished? Kind of like when you deep clean things it can look like chaos halfway through the job until you're done? Great job as always! It looks incredible!
