Thank you for testing out the RX 580! I currently have this GPU, got it for $50 with the original box and accessories ($20 shipping, handling, and taxes though.) It's still really good; running strong 7 months later. The highest temperature I have seen is 74C which is nice for a card of its age. I'm happy that AMD supported it at long as they did, really good life for the card.
The main takeaway for me after all of this is how good Fortnite looks regardless of settings. The bright, vivd colors and overall optimization over the years has done a lot to keep this title engaging.

Hey kryzzp since you dont know. You can spend golds in vending machines, or upgrade weapons in safes, or you can buy stuff from NPCs. And the orange circles on the map are the players with the medallion, medallions basically heal you to 50 shield.
My 580 just died a few days ago. 😥Served well the 4 years i had it, but i wish it lasted 1-2 years more. It was fine for my needs and new cards at the same price has worse performance...

DX12 dlss Q , all low setting with high post processing. I think these settings are the best for performance / comp with some good graphic aspects. I play in 1440p with a 2080
Max the DDR5 2250mhz then raise the power slider until the chip peters off or slows down then mark that power percentage for further use if something loses your settings

Tbh, your experience would be better with a 5600/5600x for gaming over the 3700x. The early iterations of Ryzen with the shared and lower cache hinders high fps gaming and causes some stuttering. In my experience switching from a 3900x to 5900x saw smoother gaming and consistently higher fps with my RTX3080 10GB. Ultimately thou, I switched to 5800X3D and never looked back.
mine is also around 60 degrees, it's a known fancurve issue, reload the fancurve in Adrenalin and back to normal, this fixes the fancurve issue, keep in mind a bad shutdown of the OS or after a crash you need to reload the fancurve again, the issue with this fancurve is, even at 80+ degrees the fan only spins at 30% or so, never goes higher.

In 2016 my ex picked me up an RX 480 8GB (XFX RS Model). It was $222 after tax. At the time the DX12 mode worked better than it did on the GTX 1060 6GB, Which was $250 before tax. Fast forward 8 years and I bought an RX 580 8GB (Gigabyte) for $45 to complete an entry level build. And lo and behold how well they still work. It's no wonder AMD is putting it out to pasture. They don't want to remind people of the value for the dollar they used to give out of their GPU dept. There was a time we knew the X6X/X was the lowest end useable card they made (RX 460 anyone?) yet today their 5600 and 6600 are usually priced the same as the 480 was 8 years ago. they have really let gamers down in the past few years. Sure, they finally fixed their CPU issues, however this does not make it OK to sell something like a 7600 or 7600XT for more than $150. It's the same performance as the RX 460 was compared to it's contemporaries of the time and there are reviewers lauding these cards and their price as if they are worth it. And they are not. I miss the old days of AMD when they cared more about their customers than their bottomline.
Alright im just gonna say it please download the shader cache it will stutter less it still wont be perfect but it will reduce the amount it has to compile which means less stuttering. Also dont stream assets download everything please the game runs great after that. It should be the defualt but its not becuase of buget low end pcs.
Im trying to decide which gpu i should buy between the rx580 or the 1050 ti. Im really only gonna use it for playing Fortnite, and dont really mind anything about graphics, only the FPS (i currently have a gt 740 and get around 30-45 fps, and 50+ when im in a closed area)

I don't know whats up with my Pc, But when i set everything on medium with nanite and lumen on high, it easily goes the 7.5GB Vram usage, I never see it come close to that in any other video's with a RX 5700XT
Hey Kryzzp, I hope you're doing well. I've got a question about some pro fortnite players with high-end systems that playing on performance mode without having a single stutter of fps drop and it's kinda weird do you know any method that we could try out like them?
I believe if you don't update your drivers and play for countless hours on end, all of the shaders will build up and give you a smooth experience. But you gotta play a lot of games with stuttering first. Also, I close GPUZ before I play, but it also doesn't cause stutters.
The RX 580 shall never die! 😆 It feels like it's been around for decades at this point, and still not awful.

lumen is software ray tracing, nanite is virtualized geometry, which is basically optimised geometry and a performant replacement for LOD

Hey Kryzzp you use gpu z, if you have it open while playing it may be the reason for stuttering, I had gpu z open and encountered massive stuttering

Nah it’s not using 100% utilisation on the Gpu because the cpu feels sorry for it so it helps more.
