Great video! I got mine last week and love it! I actually had the Palma first and loved that so much that I got the Boox Color Go 7.
Here in Canada, i had to buy from an ebay reseller, only thing is that they didnt include the magnetic case like the official website does.
I went from a libra h20 the first one to a boox note air 3c which is like a 10" model without page turn buttons. I love it so much. It was super easy to put my books into their book app and to set up digital journals in the notes app that are built in. If you ever want to do that it's super easy just copy paste. Sometimes authors have free epubs or PDFs of their books on their websites and I grab those. I had already switched from Amazon to Kobo about ten years ago so I had a lot of my Kindle library converted already. But I do love having all the reading apps there are out there. The built in device book app has text to speech.
With manga its pretty perfect, but I did find myself going back to my phone/tablet for comics, sadly the color tech isnt there yet, thankfully I only read a handful of those by comparison
that's fair! i don't mind it on the go/convenience but of course would prefer the physical comics/graphic novels if i had the choice

What's making you consider this one? I'm trying to decide between the Palma and this
@kicsrepins The color screen. Although I do have a Kindle fire that's basically the same, so I really don't need it. I put a matte screen protector on my fire and it looks like an ereader now. Plus it's in color and I can get all the reading apps.

What’s it like in the sunlight and do you get the same books as you would on a kindle?
as long as you download the kindle app on it you can have access to all your kindle books! i actually haven't really brought it outside like that but when i read it in the brighter parts of the house it's not a problem and works like the kindle in the sun since it's eink
Are Black and White displays better quality than the Color ones, do you think they are sharper, thanks. ❤
i think in general the boox devices are better image quality (b&w or color) but color in general for the boox it just depends on what level of detail you're looking for. it's not going to be the same as a phone screen

Dang. I had hoped for a metal device like the Oasis.
For someone who reads books its a great review however I was shocked at the excessive usage of "literally" like so many times. People who read books "literally"have good vocabulary "literally"
literally had no idea that i literally had to be a literal perfect speaker as a literal book reader
8:54 maybe you can do it in the settings of the device
Does it let you uninstall the AI Assistant app?

@@justhana4779 I've been looking all over the internet trying to figure this out. If you could try and let me know that would be awesome. I'm pretty down on AI and wouldn't want it on my e-reader.

@@justhana4779 Any chance you can try and see if it lets you delete or fully disable it? I've been looking all over YT and Reddit trying to find this out because I'm not a fan of AI on my devices and wouldn't want one on my E-Reader.
Other than the AI Assistant app, I'm really thinking this fits the bill for compatibility of various reading apps I'd want to run on it.

i haven't tried it for myself but i think you can download a third party app to type in korean and i think you set it as korean for the language setting

Would you still recommend it after a month of usage? :)
100% it's been nice being able to switch between different apps in the same device

Battery life? I heard it's not great if it's android-based. Like, only lasts a day at max.
mine has been consistently lasting a week before i have to charge so i think it just depends on how many apps you have open and how much you use it throughout the day/week. plus having it sleep versus turn off when it's not in use also affects the battery life

Do you like watching video tutorials and classes on a 7-inch screen or does it bother you because it is so small?
I think e-ink is not good for videos. It can get verry blurry from what I've seen.
personally i would not watch videos on the device since the combo of e-ink and the lower refresh rate would make the experience pretty different than mobile and laptop devices
