The Mighty Boosh was inspired by Monty Python, but to be honest I prefer TMB over MP, my favorite MP was The Life of Brian which I have seen 3-4 times but TMB I have watched uncountable times.
Gotta say though I am a fan of Luxury Comedy
Wasn't impressed by Luxury Comedy, it had its moments but it seems as though Noel wanted to keep the Boosh alive but Julian isn't that interested.

This has always been my favorite Boosh songs bc it really feels like the one where they both just actually get to go hard and have fun with each other unlike other bangers where they’re either at odds with one another, under something else’s influence or just unsure of their musical ability lol.

I’m just watching this episode now. The way they bounce off each other and hype each other is absolute gold 😂 It’s shot like they’re a proper serious rap duo, pure genius.
@@drewblue762 lmaoo I love them just doin a straight-up "late 80's to mid 90's hardcore hiphop duo music video" style of rapping and gesturing directly into like a fisheyed camera shot, then hard cuttin to them bustin some moves, then back to the hard closeup shot for the next guy's verse! Very old-school but iconic editing/filming imo ♡! The vid for
Beastie Boys' "Hold It Now, Hit It" uses a similar framing but riffs on it for a more silly delivery (yet still rocks it to the max)
Of course they only flow well, when no one’s around to witness it 🤣

Hands down the best series ive ever watched. I wish they would come back so genius.

They write all their own songs and even play most of the music. Often over night or ina few hours. Mel Brooks wrote like that. End of shooting for the day, he had to write the next days dialogue and create a song. Hollywood is to strict for that anymore.........

yeah Julian Barret and Noel Fielding are actual musicians. the Mighty Boosh is unique for the fact that its a musical comedy thats really funny. Highly suggest binge watching the 3 seasons if this was funny to you.
