Sam, is there an easier way to ask you some direct questions about the MOST basic things with perfumerie? Long time collector, just trying to get some direction. I hate to impose and ask for your time, but I’d be so appreciative…
Pls make a Video with the Next 30 raw Materials. After getting the First 30. Your Videos are such a big help. Ist Hard to Watch for a german, but you are the only Person who explains everything.
thanking you isnt enough sam, truly. im in the works of starting my brand im a noob when it comes to formulation but i have a brand vision, you help me see (smell haha) it more clearly - freeing me from my concerns!
By mass, utilizing an electric balance that can go down to 0.001g. Then if making a dilution for instance 1g of Ambroxan crystals then adding 9g of DPG you’d have an Ambroxan 10% dilution
Hi it's very good video's on perfumery. Plz try to add english subtitles buz some time it's difficult to understand ur essent plz try to do it. It's very helpful for other part of country's .
I am a big fan of your videos, I’ve learned so much from them! I recently have begun making fragrances and I was hoping maybe you could help me with a big problem I’ve ran into… So, I have finally found a formula I like. It is based it on # of drops (bc that is the smallest amount I can add to a formula). Each of the materials I used were set at a 10% dilution. I am now trying to create the perfume concentrate. I am using the materials neat, however I am having issues knowing how to add materials that were made from solids/powders (I.e. Cetalox, Veramoss and Lavender absolute). I simply used a 1 to 1 ratio when converting all the liquid raw materials to the concentrate. Cetalox though has been very tricky. I know it has to be at least a 10% dilution, however if I created my formula with all materials at 10%, it would seem that I would need to use 9x the amount in order to maintain the 1 to 1 ratio originally used? Or should I be adding raw materials directly to the concentrate based on weight? I have similar issues with Veramoss and Lavender Absolute. How do I maintain the appropriate ratios in the concentrate?
Hi Sam, i am watching your videos and i must say, you have truly inspired me to continue in this journey. I really appreciate your efforts in making these videos. I am learning from each of your videos. With his video i have a question. To make these accords, what is the amount of quality or ratio of a material we have to use?
Hey Sam first your Chanel is quality I have purchased your Formulair so worth the money so I thank you for that. Can I ask if you could give weights to the accords would be so very helpful rather than guessing if you have no clue what it is supposed to smell like Tia for everything.
Dear sam can make long video creating formula perfume from TOP MIDDLE AND BASE with explaining which direction thoughts . without out smelling until end the base then smelling and tell us ur thoughts.
Sam, do you know I Don’t Know What from DS&Durga? It’s surprisingly good! The combination of molecules plus a touch of bergamote EO. Can you please show us how to make this kind of perfume?
Hey! I’ll be making a perfum soon and wanted to ask what smells to use. What I have in mind is something that would remind you of a bakery, but using vanilla is a must for me. Thank you!!
Aloha Sam, I just came across your RUclips site and I find all the knowledge/experience you have to share fascinating....for that I thank you. I am a beginner at attempting to create fragrance and have been overwhelmed by all the info available but you make it all make sense. btw....i tried to purchase Moonlight Harvest and By Virtue of Sunbeams, are 10 ml sample sizes available?
Thank you, glad I can help! Currently the samples for my perfumes are 1-2 ml, I’m looking to upgrade all to 2 ml in the future. I haven’t found that the 10ml size works well for my business unfortunately but I’m looking to introduce a 30 size soon.
Question, which one would be good to make a ocean like scent? Bath and Body works changed my favorite Sea Breeze scent a few years ago and I've been looking to recreate it since
That's is awesome video Sam!!Could it possible that I translated your video in to Thai language as an article to sharing this useful information to thailand perfumery community and give you a credit😊?
You could reference it with credit and write it in your own words but please don’t use the video recording itself with an overdub and post it like that
And how did i will know that is a top or middle or base notes from this accord? Thanks for sharing a good viedo you gives a good informations of perfumery.
Really wish that water wasn't green in the fougere accord visual. 🤣 Then again, cyanobacteria is becoming more prevalent these days. 😆 Brilliant vid Sam. ❤ Definitely need a floralizer in the violet accord it's true. So many way you can go with that one. Might give that tropical accord a go myself. Never was a fan of tropical scents, but it'd be a good exercise. Cheers.
Hey Sam, thank you for all the videos and inspiration! I do have e one question I haven't been able to find, how do you get the briny, salty smell of the ocean into a perfume? I can't seem to find any clear information on this topic but maybe I'm just being dense. Best.
Very nice and informative video! But lily of the valley looks nothing like the waterlily you showed in your picture, and violets don't look like that either-- that's liverwort! I know they're AI generated, but still!
This is content we don't see on youtube very often.
Thanks for sharing it with us. :)
My pleasure, glad I can help
@@sammacer "Could you please provide the ratios for creating these accords?"
The idea of an accord is that the exact ratio doesn’t matter

Hi Sam! How about Undecavertol in Lily Of The Valley
You could use it as a stylistic choice if you want to push the green element
Right! Give it more like a entire floral effect with a good and fresh leafy note!
Hi Sam , do you know to create a lucum note? , thankz dude
Nope
Nope
Accords are fine but ratio? Like what percentage we should be adding?
Thanks sam❤
No problem 😊
Sam, where could I get these essential oils? Could I get all of them from creating perfumes site?

Haha well it still looks foresty - and the tropical one is it a little limited with the kit but I thought I’d throw the idea out there for beginners
Dear sam can share the list of the name materials and ingredients u will used on course we want ordered before to start to be already in hand❤

Amazing
What you would put to make more realistic pineapple accord? Thanks in advance

Maritima and seaweed absolute are good for that
Thanks so much!
Valiosa información.
Hey sam hi really wanna know about leechi accord
very informative
Thanks
I'm trying to create a nice and fluffy clean linen accord... Got any tips?
Try habanolide and helvetolide
Nice Video
i'm quite mangled. So to make accords, add 10% raw materials together and dilute it in 1% alcohol?
No my friend he is saying the alcohol proportion must 90percent and raw material must 10 and 1 % respectively
Very nice and informative video!
But lily of the valley looks nothing like the waterlily you showed in your picture, and violets don't look like that either-- that's liverwort! I know they're AI generated, but still!
Bro, Ahamed al.magribi perfumes brand trending in Dubai and Asia. Can u make formula for that
Why dnt u make sm vids on incense compounds ?
You missed the famous tobacco and leather accords
Unfortunately you can’t make good tobacco or leather accords with the kit which is the focus of the video, they need more raw materials
When would you be starting the online course?😅
Hopefully sometime in March
Thank you ☺️ it will be announced here on the channel right...
Good, but.....no orris/iris in heliotrope accord? Uhmm......
Thanks Sam🎉
No problem!!
Sam I checked most of your videos but there is no formula or material u talk about for female perfume made 😢
Muchas gracias!
No problem!
Dilituting a 10% solution twice is not 1%. Just over 5%
If you dilute the 10% pre-dilution to a 10% dilution again, it will become 1%
i stand corrected
The ratio 1 to 1?
The exact ratio doesn’t really matter
@@sammacer thank u Sam
wow AI really does not know what violets look like at all
Yoo cool PC 😅
Cheers bro
Come up with a cocaine accord!
😂
It’s a real thing! 1969 Miami blue parfum
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make that.
That’s an interesting one - marketing notes are usually used quite liberally so honestly it could be just about anything
Acacia is wood 😂 we burn it as incense wood
I guess the same name must be used for two things
How about a fizzy cola accord
Try orange oil, vanillin, cinnamon and lime
