Overall I really liked it. I just have a connection to the score that's hard to shake.

Ahh! You used the non-updated version. Those Marriage Story clips are shorter and color corrected so Red shirt Adam Driver doesn't seem so jarring.

I hope you weren't looking down at something else like your phone or something while watching this on a monitor. The first shot of Original Clone Wars cartoon came much sooner than you noticed it while your eyes were down. At first I thought you were just watching the video on your phone and were moving the phone up and down so that was why your eyes seemed to look up and down but now I don't know.
8:44 suddenly this video became a random conspiracy theory. I'm sorry, but if a thing isn't shown on screen so the audience understands it, it didn't happen.
Chewie in grief, thinking about Hans words "ya hear me?", feeling like he was unable to take care of her gets me every time. Like he broke his promise to Han. Of course it was Leia's choice to die, but still, Chewie doesn't know that, and to 200 yr old him she's still like a young sister.
Imagine if Ben was the one who visited the old Skywalker home. It being Rey's sacrifice he goes on to live by, the end of the skywalker story ending with a Skywalker by blood before the twin suns. Though at this point I prefer not to speculate on the what if's, it is what it is i guess.

So random thought, you're reactions are awesome by the way!, but it's got to be the audio cut outs with other audio insertions and non equal visual cut lengths with filter fades that beat the algorithm right? I've always wondered the same thing when I watch it. Unless there was a highly impossible backroom handshake deal involved or something lol

Pretty awesome clip. It makes me think that the character relationships in the sequels and the scenes that support them would have worked really well had the trilogy had a different overall story arc. Watching this clip, I wish I had seen that version of Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker.

The scenes from Marriage Story were a really bad choice. That was a great film too, but completely immersion-breaking in this context.
HFP made an updated version where it fits much better.
aniken wasnt able to save the one he loved...luke wasnt ablw to save the ones he loved...but kylo did manage at the end..making him the chosen one ........
Well, Luke _did_ save his loved ones... he just couldn’t keep the peace he secured.
@@thomaskearse3086 i know anakin was in m opinion..but in the last trilogy they hint like it was kylo...but then obi one told maul when he asked luke was ...so i guess its in the family line of chosen ones :)

I was hoping for more reactions to this video and was excited as your reactions are usually the most vigorous and nerdy but damn this was disappointing. You kept talking over the best parts and looking at your phone. Laammee.
Ok...that was kind of irritating. You missed SO much...because you kept looking away to talk. While the sequels kind of shoved it all in, this video actually draws all the connections that show how and when Ben realized just what a fucking fool he'd been all his life. In that moment, yeah...he would've recognized Anakin, and understood what it meant for him to appear. He would've still felt that compulsion to worship Vader, but he would've still been overwhelmed at the revelation of how wrong he was. It would've showed him that there's never a dead-end. There's always some way forward, even if it's not pleasant.

This wasn't the kind of fan video you can do a running commentary on. There's too much going on, too quickly. Gotta watch it, fully and exclusively...and comment later, or just don't bother.
Yeah I blame Luke or Leia or the writers for not explaining who was Anakin Skywalker to Kylo I mean in the end of the return of the Jedi I pretty sure Luke would tell Leia and Han about Vader turn and being Anakin skywalker the hero hell they have Artoo to explain who he was but the Trilogy gloss over him I know the galaxy remember him as Darth Vader but Luke and Leia seems questionable.

Really great video, kinda made me appreciate some of the sequel stuff a little more, still don’t really rate them in terms of cannon but like the similarities to the rest of the films, also why the hell did I hear the messenger from infinity war/endgame in that last scene where Ben is healing Rey? It had nothing to do with Star Wars 🤣
Not HFP's best work. It was too crowded imo, adding Avengers audio and scenes from a Marriage Story.. It was also too long, I think they should be max 20 minutes, but, just my opinion, there were some good parts in there
HFP had to do it in such way so copyright cannot detect it.
You bet if not copyright HFP would do it 100x better.

Great reaction video the tribute is absolutely amazing to be honest I never like the whole Reylo crap it felt like a hindrance to the characters honestly can we seriously accept the Disney trilogy the end of the skywalker saga because it didn’t tied up the prequels or the original and it didn’t felt like a ending more of to be continued thing. Also I was more advested on Ben Solo story more than Rey because they could have said the sequel a different era could be about the solo saga and the skywalker saga was episode one through six.
I totally agree about the music and the length.
