@@RobArnoldWorld sorry for the confusion i just meant as in explaining chords and verbalizing them in an easy to grasp and down to earth way that we can relate too. I wouldnt say quickly or slowly but rather perfectly (at least for me). I love it.
Robbie, what i appreciate about players like yourself, Stephen (Deftones), Cantrell (Alice in Chains) just to name a few, you guys exhibit a healthy amount of restraint in your music. If the song needs more, you guys will add more. If not, you allow the song to breathe a bit. Keep the vids coming, man!
Its that breakdown in the end that really gets my attention. Definitely a nice groove metal feel. Wish more bands could have that same kinda intensity chimaira had
Back in 2006 I was in a band, we played a new year's show where all the band's had to play a set of covers by a single band and we chose Chimaira. Power Trip was a staple of our set anyway so we learned a few others. I think we played Pure Hatred, Nothing Remains, Power Trip, The Dehumanising Process and Cleansation. Had a blast
Chimaira is my all time favorite band, I miss their shows so much, the pure madness you feel when they play live is something I will never forget! Off to play pure hatred on my guitar now, thank you for this video 🤘🤘
I got a hoodie for this song at an Ozzfest in 2003? 2004? One of my favorites to this day. Haven't worn it in about ten years because I'm afraid i'll rip it or something, but it's in my closet and I see it all the time and smile. Weird how a song about hating everyone brings so much joy, but it does!
I love that part of the song where it goes down half a step. Yes, it's only half a step, But on the album I'll always remember when I first heard it back on release!! it sounds like you switch to a 7 string for a second. That's how heavy that little change is.
I still remember when I bought this CD. I had seen the video on a show called Uranium with Mistress Juliya and loved it. I was in a store called Circuit City which no longer exists and picked up The Impossibility of Reason among other music CDs and was instantly hooked. Have been a fan ever since. Bought all the CDs and DVDs as they all came out. The first DVD set is still one of my favorites.
Saw you about 16 years ago one of my greatest memories from back in the day when I was a stroppy teen who loved Chimaira. Tried watching you play amongst the mosh pit cause I was interested in your guitar playing . 🙏

We need a original Chimaira reunion tour
Need to work on my picking with this one.
Crazy how well the impossibility album has aged, to me it doesn't sound like a certain year and is still amazing after hundreds of repeats
That's awesome!🤘
What do you mean, "hundreds"...? If it weren't for streaming services, my Impossibility of Reason disc would be ruined from so much playing, by now! 😂
Its a classic mate, all killer no filler
@@scottbrady2301 the last song, Elements of Destruction, is proof of that!
