What a positive end to such a heartbreaking situation. I nearly had tears in my eyes watching the whole thing especially seeing the baby's mother in distress and Harries getting emotional in his recount of that day's events. All the lifeguards who attended worked tirelessly to bring the baby back to life. Paramedics did well also to get the baby to hospital and their response was swift. Yeah I've seen this twice and it breaks my heart that no one tries to help her... She could be going into shock. Even if she didn't want to be hugged I would have still wanted to to sit next to her. Give her water, try to get her to take deep breaths, etc. I had a little boy choke at my work. His parents brought him out of the theater and he was already turning blue... Luckily my manager saved the little boy. Paramedics said he would have had brain damage or worse if he hadn't intervened.. Scariest day of work ever.

I lost my baby sister when she was 6 months old in my arms, it can be really scary when a baby stops breathing because I lost 2 of my little brothers after not being they were not able to breathe, they left us when they were 1 day old 😢
A huge congratulations to Harries and the team on that emotional, incredible, frantic, tearjerking, and miraculous resus. My heart sank to the pit of my stomach watching that, and to see Harries tear up, it just goes to prove that HE is a true hero. Well done, Harries, and a massive well done to all who assisted
I’m still confused how a baby “accidentally” falls from someone’s arms. I hope the incident is being investigated or they media needs to explain the fall in more detail. Maybe the holder tripped or was ran into by a running child or adult or someone being careless on a bike or scooter etc.
The Bondi lifeguards are heroes. They worked tirelessly to ensure the baby was brought back to life. So glad that the baby pulled through and is recovering.
That was super emotional. The fact that the baby was released after a couple days is extraordinary. I wanted to grab that mom and comfort. I couldn't imagine the distress. I highly suspect they were holding the baby and it tipped out backwards out if their arms as they were trying to load up their stuff. It was likely a total accident. This is the most moving thing they've ever filmed on this show.
Now I know why people use baby carry devices for pickup stuff so you don’t accidentally tip the baby back word and hitting a hard ground and the skull is not fully formed so it’s a high possibility of being brain damaged and disabled in the future or having serious seizures I hope the baby is okay I feel bad for the parents accidentally drop the baby I can tell it’s not on purpose because they are both crying.
I loved Harries tears. He is fully feeling and a decent human. I don’t think anyone else could have done as much as he did. And the whole team contributed in energy and more. You can see they are all decent humans with caring hearts.
Worked in emergency medicine for years I remember every child I saved or helped, the level of emotion is unreal, there is so much at stake it takes a toll on you❤
I’m crying like a baby after I realised I was holding my breath until I heard that cry. As a mum whose had to do numerous lifesaving resus of multiple ASD kids and others, from choking, drowning, and other instances, it brought back all those memories and your heart is getting ripped out your chest, your distraught, in fight or flight and you just gotta hit the gas and say not on my watch and give it everything till help arrives…and you hold your breath till you know their stable. A heartfelt thank you and congratulations all lifesavers, going through this everyday…you guys are hero’s along with all front line workers who all come together to save life. God bless you all🫶🫶🫶
Harries normally makes me laugh. As awful as the situation was, I wasn't crying until he was. He is such a force for good in the Bondi community with his life guarding and his work we occasionally get to see with the nippers. I imagine he gets about doing other fun training things too. It's obvious he enjoys teaching. But for all his mucking about and madcap escapades, that man takes the right things seriously. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. His dad and his family must be unbelievably proud of him. Well done, Harries and the Bondi team.
Love Harries, and he has a huge heart! So sorry for the loss of your dad Harries, But how wonderful you were able to save a little baby boy, your Dad is so proud. Cried all the way through that.
Harries maturity, professional training and quick response worked together to save that baby's life and kept a family and their friends from going through a time of profound grief, giving them back their child and their joy. He and all of the well trained, caring, diligent and hardworking lifeguards have my respect and admiration. Well done!
Harries is amazing, the gentleness and passion with which he handle the situation shows the true depth of these lifeguards. I’m sorry for the loss of his father, it’s always confronting when you see or are in a situation that reminds you. Hugs and love.❤😢
Those poor parents 😢 how scary this must have been for them and the horrible guilt you must feel with an accident like this. I hope they are doing ok with their son. Thank goodness for lifeguards and other medical personnel

The Bondi lifeguards are truly unsung heroes. They do their job and they do it really well. Much respect and love from Indiana. I watch every episode I can on RUclips. God Bless You all
Head trauma, from height, I'd be questioning that. Aside from that, you guys need medals , such unsung heroes of the beach, no capes worn here, keep the great work up, and allow yourselves to grieve. I'm so glad that baby will make it, admiral work
I agree. Hardly any, 8-weeker would launch themselves off a drop from a height like that. They would be secured safely in a carseat, baby wrap or carrier, but not the c-shaped slings, because they suffocate babies, the pram or stroller in a carpark or on a pavement with a drop anywhere in the vicinity, surely. I know I wouldn't carry an infant, even around the house, just in my arms for exactly this reason.
Had to scroll really far to find this. They don't explain how the trauma was sustained at all. Severe head and hip trauma and not breathing. Hard to believe that's just from slipping from the parents arms.

Had the honour of meeting Harries and Harrison a couple of years ago, 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet, they aren't just lifeguards, but real life superheros, which made this even harder to watch! Glad they could save the baby, but you would wonder how an 8week old baby who can't walk can fall from a height, but regardless of that, so happy everything turned out OK.
They could have been laying on a chair and rolled off. All it takes is one second of looking away. Or the baby got dropped. That can happen to anyone. If this is the only time this has happened, it’s likely just that one second look away or losing their grip, etc.
This shattered my eyes, seeing a baby, suffering, and the lifesaver comes for the rescue, we are impressed and your father is impressed aswell, now the new lifesaver is here.
Big round of applause and cheers from me. If I could I would have hugged every one of you. Technically that baby wasn't even your responsibility, and yet you all took charge and SAVED HIS LIFE! That baby will grow up happy and healthy because of YOU. Think of all the amazing things he'll get to see and do because YOU GUYS were up to the task. Lifeguards don't get enough credit.

OMG, the emotions from these men had me in tears...ALL of your hearts should be filled with pride, for a job very well done... Your daily jobs are stressful enough, but this.. just WOW. Harries you are a blessing to that family.
As a former 911 Police/Fire/EMS dispatcher, I was always able to stay calm during life & death situations. But calls for babies really affected me the most. I always tell people, there are 2 things I don't like hearing: #1 Telephone ringing, lol (I'm a dispatcher, our job is to answer the phone), #2 Babies crying unattended (If a baby is crying, please see what's wrong). On the other side of this, when a baby is unresponsive, to hear it cry is the best sound in the world; because you know it is breathing and conscious. At 8wks old a baby is so delicate...I shed a few tears myself; great job Harries!
We are deeply sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy, and the pain can linger for years. It's heartwarming to see your empathy and support for Harries!
I couldn't even imagine being in the mothers position and just hearing your baby crying and you being the one to help him I would probably wouldn't even now how to thank you I almost lost my little boy Oakley because of a drowning accident but the lifeguards brought him back to life he was 1 at that time and I was so thankful the life guards were just so soportive and nice and I was having a panic attack they were calming me down and then I heard Oakley crying it was the best moment of my life thanks to the life guards

This is the most raw, emotional video I've ever seen. From the first second, I just got this terrifying goosebump chill at the baby being clinically dead. And then when they got those breaths and the baby started crying...I'm in tears; I'm speechless at this utter miracle.
As a paramedic I can only echo what Harrison is saying in the interview: There is NOTHING in the whole wide world that is more beautiful than the sound of a crying child. If you're a first responder of any kind, you understand.
Howled my way through watching this. I have a son and I have a reoccurring nightmare that he falls from a great height, in that nightmare my options were to jump too and die or scramble down 12 flights of stairs, and I can see he he was dying. I always wake up just before I jump. This brought that home to me so hard. This is my nightmare, it happened to these parents in real life. Thank God for Harries, Harrison and Beardo.
This clip really proves why I love this show. If this had been an American show you best believe the camera men would have been more or less climbing on top of that baby to "get the good stuff", whereas these camera men clearly waited away with the rest of the crowd to give everyone space instead of trying to get good shots in. I have so much respect for a show where they want to give you a piece of their world without harming anyone in the process.
As an EMS worker for many years. I have to say, there's 1 career ending call for all of us out there. I've seen it happen before...this one would've been so hard, as all kids are. Good work everyone. Stay safe out there

My manager worked to save the toddler and I was tasked with calming mum. I don't remember saying anything to her. Just put my arm around her shoulder and tried to get her to stop hyperventilating. Luckily my manager saved the little boy. Paramedics said he would have had brain damage or worse if he hadn't intervened.. Scariest day of work ever.
I hope you guys are taking care of yourselves mentally ❤ you are true Aussie heroes.
Thank you for your concern! ❤Your support and concern mean a lot to us!
Guys you should be so proud of yourself. Coming from someone that’s lost a child, you did such an amazing job with your quick thinking and helping that baby. Those parents will be forever grateful that you were able to bring their baby back to life. Immense respect ❤❤
Thank you for your kind words and support. We're truly touched by your message. Our hearts go out to you for your loss, and we appreciate your immense respect and encouragement.❤
I hope the baby doesn’t suffer any permanent damage from a fall like that. I’m so happy he was okay. What a heartbreaking situation though ❤
I’m still confused how a baby “accidentally” falls from someone’s arms. I hope the incident is being investigated or they media needs to explain the fall in more detail. Maybe the holder tripped or was ran into by a running child or adult or someone being careless on a bike or scooter etc.
@@k8lynmae Not to mention the fact that a fall from 3-4 feet shouldn’t cause life threatening traumatic injury. It’s weird for sure.
@@hautemama85ik u didnt ask but If a baby falls sometimes it cant breathe
@@hautemama85 maybe it depends on how he fell, and he is only 8 weeks so the head is pretty soft, and he seems to have fallen on concrete.
@@tahtyanathomas-douyon5990 Yes... could have fallen on head or chest, who knows. Thank God the little guy is OK.
The Bondi lifeguards are heroes. They worked tirelessly to ensure the baby was brought back to life. So glad that the baby pulled through and is recovering.
If Harries is crying - I'm crying. My God these men are heroes every single day.
It's truly heartrending to witness such distressing moments, especially when involving a baby.
Worked in emergency medicine for years I remember every child I saved or helped, the level of emotion is unreal, there is so much at stake it takes a toll on you❤
God bless you 🙏🙏🙏
Seeing Harries so emotional made this so much more real. Thanks to all who participated in this rescue from Jean in Florida, USA!
This is why Lifeguards have my undying respect! Brought real tears to my eyes while watching this. Bondi is truly safe in these Lifeguard’s hands ❤️
I've recently learned cpr in school and knowing I could help save a life just like the lifeguards have so many times makes me feel like I have more purpose in life
That is absolutely INCREDIBLE! We love that schools are teaching students about CPR. We hope you'll never need to do it but it's incredible that you now have that skill set! 🙌
This made me cry! These lifeguards are like walking angels, there in people’s most frightening moments and still keeping their cool. Being able to do what they do under so much pressure is just so heartening. The world is a better place for having you all in it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story, and I hope the beautiful baby boy lives a good and fulfilling life; thanks to you he has a future…
L&D RN here. Great job Harry's! Getting those rescue breaths in so fast is key!!! Harrison & Beardy, awesome support and way to work together for the most optimal outcome!!!!😊
Nothing better than the sound of a baby crying! Nothing scares me more than a silent kiddo!!!
You are truly a life gaurd . Guarding a small precious baby and helping to bring him back to life and helping the parents to get through this moment. Oh bless you harries ♡
Seeing everyone in tears made me go in tears. They did amazing. I am glad that they could save the baby's life❤❤
Take a deep breath, Harries, and enjoy a cold one at the end of your shift. You did good, man.
Cheers to you, mate!
Harris, this was so emotional, I'm so proud of you and the rest of the team. I watched since season 1. Watching you have kids and knowing they are your joy this is definitely the highlight of your career. Bondi is blessed to have you, all of you.❤
You are true hero’s. this is everyones worst nightmare, especially as a parent. devastating that it happened but if it had to happen it was so lucky that it happened where it did. having the lifeguards there with the right equipment and CPR knowledge before paramedics arrived will have been the difference of life and death. They should be so proud of what they do. seeing Harries cry has me sobbing. Thank you for everything you do 💙
We're immensely grateful for the opportunity to make a difference. The love and support of our community gives us the strength to keep going.
Havnt cried this much at an episode before. As i hold my 11 week old baby even tighter today, i say thankyou fou not giving up on that little soul♡
Just watching this makes me cry, it was just a miracle that Harries could save the little baby. Just praying for the family and the little boy for a quick recovery ❤
❤Wow Harries, what a save. You kept calm and cool and saved that baby. The work you guys do daily saving lives is just amazing❤
These guys never cease to impress me. The mental and physical strength they possess is incredible.
This one brought tears. Good on you Harries and everyone else who saved his life. Real heroes.
This was the most emotional episode of Bondi I’ve ever seen in all my years of watching. Having a baby yourself really hits you in unimaginable ways. Poor Harries, going through so many emotions ♥️
I can't stop crying Harries you're amazing... I wish I could give you a hug for saving that baby
The Bondi lifeguards are truly unsung heroes. They do their job and they do it really well. Much respect and love from Indiana. I watch every episode I can on RUclips. God Bless You all
We appreciate you! Sending love to Indiana! ❤
Head trauma, from height, I'd be questioning that. Aside from that, you guys need medals , such unsung heroes of the beach, no capes worn here, keep the great work up, and allow yourselves to grieve. I'm so glad that baby will make it, admiral work
right ? parents seem negligent.
@@bluudrippzso glad you're ready to judge when all the scene was not witnessed by you.

I just wanted to reach out to Harries and give him a hug when I saw him cry, especially when he mentioned his father. These guys did a fantastic job; Thank you.
Harries and the entire rescue team undoubtedly put their hearts into their work, and the emotional weight of their experiences is a testament to their dedication and strength.
Well done Harries! No words can be found to express the miracle you performed.
Real men cry, especially in this case of the lil baby! Great job 👏🏼 These life guards are truly heroes!
An episode hasn’t ever gotten me emotional.. except for this one. What an absolutely horrible situation. You guys prevented a tragedy and are truly heroes.
this is obviously going to be added to the top 10 emotional rescues, fantastic work by everyone involved
Definitely one of the most emotional rescues for sure 😭
@@BondiRescueKeep up the good work this brought tears to my eyes as watching this ❤🥲
@@BondiRescue how did this innocent baby end up being dropped on his head? Are the parents not being held responsible for neglect/abuse?????

Harries has always been a bit of a diva, but today that baby was in the right place at the right time. I always have respect for all the lifeguards but this time my respect is to the moon and back. Great job Harries and everyone who put in the greatest effort to save that little life. All of you, lifeguards and first responders alike are all heros in my book. Who says heros wear capes.
I hope that the baby made a full recovery and is growing up knowing how truly lucky he was that day.
Im a Manly Boy who now lives in Sweden and Im sitting here in total awe of your teams achievements. Your TV show has touched my heart so many times but no more than this incident. The way Harries handled this situation was a testament to his belief in his own skills and his dedication to saving lives. Bondi is so fortunate to have him and all of the team keeping watch on our safety. What a f&%€ing great bunch of guys. :)
I'm not crying you're crying. 😢
Amazing work Harries. Truly incredible. Once in a lifetime kind of a rescue. 👏
Thank you so much for posting. I have tears in my eyes as this has brought back memories of when I had to resus my 8-month-old niece. It's a day I will never forget; she is now 6 years old!
We're deeply touched that our content resonated with you, and we're incredibly grateful that your niece made it through that challenging time. It's a testament to your courage and love ❤
@@BondiRescue Thanks to the lifeguards for their dedicated work. I know it can be a difficult job. I have had a handful of resus' (being a nurse), but I imagine not as many as you guys!
All the lifeguards at Bondi and all across the world are hero’s and we are so lucky to have them. So happy to hear baby is okay, best news ever
When they said the baby pulled through, I got CHILLS.
I’m so thankful for lifeguards they do so much for everyone. Like come one they just saved a 8 WEEK OLD BABY ❤❤❤
Harries, you are amazing. Hugs to you! I’m sorry about your dad.
I’ve been watching Bondi Rescue videos for a little over a year now and this has to be the most beautiful rescue I’ve seen! Harries, you are such a hero. That little boy is going to be able to have a normal childhood and grow grow up to be a successful man, all because you gave him this chance at life! I’m sure your father is watching over you and is so proud of his son! Keep doing what you are doing!
Le salvo la vida al bebe, su felicidad del salvavidas es incomparable, el lo hizo, mis felicitaciones a todos los salvavidas.
The moment I saw his face change literally broke my heart of love!❤️and relief of there hard work with that love and the crying made a good lifetime to that baby!❤️
Sending massive respect to all the lads and a big hug to harries
Good on you harries!
You made me cry seeing you so sad and I’m just so grateful what you do for people.
Keep up the good work, and thank you so much
OMG, the emotions from these men had me in tears...ALL of your hearts should be filled with pride, for a job very well done... Your daily jobs are stressful enough, but this.. just WOW. Harries you are a blessing to that family.
The emotion on y’all’s faces and in the way you speak. Y’all do meaningful and impactful work.
Bless the team & Harries! Bless the baby, Mom & Dad! In tears, deepest sympathy to Harries, lost my Dad 8 years ago
We're deeply moved by your message, and we can't imagine the fear and relief you've experienced. It's heartwarming to know that Oakley was saved by the lifeguards, and we're grateful for your appreciation. Moments like these remind us how incredible lifeguards are! ❤
Sending love
This gave me chills. Well done Harries on bringing that baby boy back to life and for bringing his parents their son back. I know your dad is smiling down on you beaming with pride. Keep up the amazing work guys!!
This was absolutely amazing! These lifeguards are absolutely amazing. All First Responders should never be taken for granted. God and the Angels said, NO it’s not this baby’s time. Seeing the mother not being able to watch I just wish someone would have been trying to comfort her, unless I’m wrong ever time the camera was on her she was alone.
Wow it really bought tears here, and seeing a man get so emotional, its heartbreaking too....hope that precious baby is doing well and recovered from everything....tnx boy's for really being committed to ur work, u guy's do an amazing job, ur all a true lifesavers, no doubt!
After seeing so much bad and sad news involving babies or children, I'm SO HAPPY to be crying over something good. I'm so happy the baby is going to make it and recover. (But I also want to know what happened in the first place - that the child got hurt.)
This is so emotional. Thank you for saving that baby
My partner and I worked a call last week involving 5 month old. Unfortunately, we were not able to revive her. Kudos to the fast action of this crew, and it was awesome to hear the baby crying. That's always a joy to hear that.
Hero! This brought a River to my eyes watching this man rescuing this poor little one. Thank you for being such a great man.
This is why I love your efforts and show!

The kids episodes always makes me cry but this has me weeping. I'm so glad baby boy is okay. Major props to the team you guys are amazing ❤
You saved the baby’s life your the best lifeguards you saved an 8 week old baby u did it ❤
The whole time I was watching this I was screaming “good god can SOMEONE go comfort the mom?! She’s on the side and hysterically crying!”

Wow talk about a seriously emotional episode massive well done to all involved in saving that little babys not all heros wear capes you guys are the real heros
Definitely one of the hardest rescues ever witnessed. We're so thankful for the outcome 🙏
The first and hopefully also the last time anyone should wish for that baby to cry as a new father myself I can’t watch this without losing composure these guys are real hero’s for this
Goosebumps from very beginning! I’m only 30 seconds in! You are all amazing! Literally angels ❤
This is the most raw, emotional video I've ever seen. From the first second, I just got this terrifying goosebump chill at the baby being clinically dead. And then when they got those breaths and the baby started crying...I'm in tears; I'm speechless at this utter miracle.
Great job saving the baby!!! My deepest condolences on the loss of your father Harry, he was a stand up guy, just like his son!
Thank you for your kind words and support ❤

Wow well done to all involved, you saved that little boys life. So proud of you all. ❤❤
Your father is so, so proud of you. ❤
We thank you life guards you try your best and if you didn’t do what you do some people wouldn’t be here so thank you
Wow that was amazing great job lifeguards for getting to the baby quickly and bringing the a baby back to life and for staying calm also
As an EMS worker for many years. I have to say, there's 1 career ending call for all of us out there. I've seen it happen before...this one would've been so hard, as all kids are. Good work everyone. Stay safe out there
