That and the "I died" at the end of the Prince William story. She's funnier than I expected (based on almost nothing)
She talking about cyberstalking her most extreme fans and then accidentally setting herself up to sound interested in the schoolteacher at the end was hilarious. She panicked so much when Graham and the audience made shocked reactions like "she is interested in this guy???" She is still like that even now. So funny but so awkward.

I know it was 8yrs ago but the irony of Neil Diamond's 41 albums selling 120m copies at age 73 (then) compared to Taylor's 4 (now 9+2) albums, seemed lost on everyone, except perhaps Taylor, who was then only 25yrs old. She must have been thinking, 'World, you ain't seen nothing yet!!'

Taylor knew how to be “diplomatic” by keeping quiet, or probably people pleasing as she has recognised in herself, when the guys were making fun of her or speaking over her, though I’m sure now she would be more outspoken or better countering / deflecting of their attempts to put them back in their place.

It was all fun and laughs until you are already half in and realize the men don't stop interrupting her, making her uncomfortable, and I just stopped laughing when John Cleese dropped the whole 'women are like cats'. I can see Taylor was at her limit there too, but she responded so well as always. I think the other Graham Norton episodes with her are better.

No he wasn't. If you listened further he said making albums is hard and she's on her way. And if you listened again she said she's a huge fan of his songwriting. They were complimenting each other as songwriters.

Going by your last comment Darren, on Neil being old, that sounds condescending along with ageist, and Neil wasn't being rude, all he mentioned was, his album Melody Road was his 41st, and then said, it was hard to write an album of new songs, and as time goes on, Taylor will find that out in the years ahead of her, within the music industry which at times can be fleeting, also as Jogman said, both Neil and Taylor complimented each other on the amount of albums they had released, Neil's 41st and at that time Taylor was on her 5th album, and in 2024, she has 11 albums, now, also there's another clip which was not included in this episode, and that was Neil singing Sweet Caroline, while Taylor stood, danced and sang along with Neil, while he was performing the song, so, again, respect shown on both sides.
