Lovely garden walk. I don’t know much about Greenfly or leaf curl, but I hope it gets resolved. I’d love to hear what other people say about fixing that. Love the mother plant story.

If ever your mum goes missing, you know where she is..🤣😂🤣😂
I'm well pleased with the garlic this year 🤞 it's in much better compost and it's easier to look after, I'm hoping for my personal best this year too...☺️
I'm definitely heading for wooden Polly.👍
Love/hate are all potted and I will not forget to speak to them when i can..🤣😂🤣😂

Looks really great Manda! Those trees look so nice there. Hopefully that tape works out well. I'm excited to see how the parsnips grow again. Mine didn't sprout, the seeds aren't old, I think it was weather. I think I'm going to see if we have any pipe laying around so I can try your way. Take care my friend! ❤🤗

I would really like to bury the tree but if I have to move for any reason I can still take it with me..☺️
Try germinating in damp tissue paper then plant it out, . Worth a try..😁
I would love to see how you get on with some pipe, I've also grown them in a deep bucket...💕💕💕🐮🐮🐮

Oh no! Your poor gooseberries. That definitely looks like aphids, I can see them on the stem at 3:41. My mum taught me to mix coca cola 1:1 with water and then spray the affected areas. Acidity of cola is about the same as vinegar. It has worked for me before, maybe it will work for you too?
I hope you get a lot of apples this year 💚

    • @mandamoosgardeningadventur8305
      @mandamoosgardeningadventur8305  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you Linda 😊
I would like to try that out, I don't drink cola so I will have to buy a cheap can and try it..😁
As for the apple's , someone had it for 5 years in such a tiny pot and didn't produce any apples at all. I took it and planted it in the big pot with fresh compost and fed it well, it had about 20 tiny apple's on it then a woman who lives next to my allotment kept spraying weed killer in her garden and the wind blew it on the tree killing all the baby apples except 1 which was hiding right in the middle covered with leaves. I gave that to the guy who's tree it was and he thoroughly enjoyed it...🤞🤞🤞🐮🐮🐮

I would suspect you are right and greenfly or similar sap sucking insect is the problem with your gooseberries.
Like your choice of love for the smaller tomato and hate for the bigger one. Not sure it will have much effect but will be interesting to see how things go.

Do you watch " Nick the gardener" he is doing an experiment of love and hate, allegedly the love will grow better and bigger by telling it how much you love it..🤣😂🤣😂

@@mandamoosgardeningadventur8305 I do watch Nick. I understand that talking to your plants is supposed to be good. And it makes sense as when talking you are breathing out carbon dioxide that the plants like and use. But even if you are telling it what an ugly weak pathetic specimen of a plant it is. You are still talking to it. Looking forward to seeing how the experiment goes.

@@mandamoosgardeningadventur8305 Another thing you mightn’t like to consider is gently brushing your hand against the love plant. Plants that are exposed to movement ( in nature this would be a breeze ) any way they grow a stronger cell structure to withstand the wind. Plants grown indoors in a completely motionless environment get flimsy and weak lacking rigidity in the stems.
