You went to Issaquah on a great event weekend. Love all that they have to offer there. Our family loves going on the first full weekend in Oct. when they host the Annual Salmon Days Festival. It is a huge event and never disappoints. Again, love watching your content and getting a look at the NW through your eyes. ❤
I love that for us ❤ thank you for your awesome video!!
Hi! I live in Issaquah and I’m so glad you had a great time. Well & Table is the bomb!! Thank you for sharing this. It helped me understand what I can do to create a welcoming environment for everyone. ❤️🙏🏻
Greetings! I live in Issaquah! One of the things I love about Issaquah is the diversity and inclusion! Issaquah is not perfect but the town leaders really do try to recognize and celebrate all the different cultures. Please come back and visit soon!
Hey what’s up! Yes we definitely enjoyed our time there. We are actually going to be attending a show there at the village theater soon. Thanks for watching!
Black guy here, loving living in Issaquah. Never felt out of place. People are much friendlier than Seattle where we moved from and I often see more black people here than other places in the Seattle area, except Tacoma of course.
Right on! That seems to be what we hear from almost everyone we talk to about Issaquah. Thanks for watching!
Of course! Y’all’s videos are a great resource, it feels like we shouldn’t have to consider how comfortable we’d feel in a given place, but the reality is that there are people alive today that lived through segregation…so not that long ago! It’s great seeing cities like Spokane through the lens of black people. For future consideration, would love to see a video of Pittsburgh! Hearing mixed reviews from Reddit about the city and racism..planning to move there and would be heartbreaking if it wasn’t a vibe.
Yay! Looks like you had a great time
Black person comfort level? I am sorry that has to be included and simultaneously proud of your direct discussion about your perspectives. Come back soon!
Thanks for watching! And yes we will definitely be back to Issaquah. It is a beautiful area and the people we met were great.
I call bulls,it! I live in Issaquah and most of the people I have encountered are absolutely HORRIBLE
You must not live in issaquah WASHINGTON
