Chef Wise is partnering with a company in Coos Bay for oysters from the Columbia River? Coos Bay is at the mouth of the Umpqua River over 200 miles south of the Columbia. Something is fishy.
3:30. Did she just say that tenderloin comes from an animal with less meat? Last I checked, tenderloin comes from the same animal any other cut served at a steakhouse.
You could never give me a free steak from the outback. We went to the nearest outback almost 2 years ago for my birthday. I had not been to ob in many years, but I loved their shrimp on the barbie. I went to place my order for my steak and asked for it to be blackened. I was told their chef no long would do that. If it had just been my wife and myself I would have requested the bill for our drinks and left. The steak that I ended up with had no flavor, none what so ever. Horrible. I took it home, seasoned as I like it and lightly cooked it for my lunch the next day. I have never tried canned dog food, but it likely would taste better than the steak I paid for. OB lost me for ever. I can do my steak better than anyone at OB and do it the way - I want it. Shalom
LOL, the Outback by us isn't bad for a quick bite. For cheap though, I honestly really do like Texas Roadhouse. Liek you though, I can do steak here at home really well. The problem is the good cuts cost as much as a down payment on a Toyota these days. Cheers man
@@politicsuncensored5617 what a clown comment. You know nothing about me. You wanted a steak blackened (ruined) and are complaining that a restaurant wasn't willing to ruin their reputation.

Personal note
Don't watch these types of videos at 3am in the morning
I season and add chopped marrow to a sous vide bag and bring up to rare. Then sear on a Kamado Joe at 1000 degrees for maybe one minute a side.

Canadian beef is best!!
I guess I'm doing a good job for sustainability. Snake River Farms is less than 20 miles from my house. Maybe I should get a discount? 😂
Somebody has been holding it in
I've eaten at Morton's in Richmond, VA = NOT impressed.
Time to edit...remove section 6. It doesn't add anything to the subject matter.

So you asked them to ruin the steak and they refused to? Sounds like even Outback may be out of your taste range
@@douglasbunch3313 If I wanted the steak ruined I would have let someone like you cook it. Shalom
