This funicular was originally a KONE but was replaced in 2022. The original funicular had a non-glass stainless steel cab with KONE Sweden buttons and was painfully slow. I could see why they wanted to replace it. It was also somewhat worn out. The replacement funicular is much more efficient, it is faster and smoother.
