It's so good how you can look at your scrap pieces and turn it in something nice. Glad you decided to give a chance to something that I would have thrown straight away! I'll definitely use that glue trick!
More great projects Keith. I like how the sanding of the drawer fronts leaves the old finish intact on the carved areas and really highlights it. Very simple but very effective.
Yeeeeeah! Glad you got my comment, was worried you wouldn't see it (doesn't seem to be a way to DM via RUclips). Will get the glasses posted to you tomorrow if not Monday!
Hi Keith, once again a nice easy to watch vidio, and has you said just just using up some scrap wood to make some useful key racks, they are well made and look fine,I'm sure you will sell them,do t forget to take care, and nd stay happy.
hi Keith I saw a great tip on the wood whisperer for getting glue deep in to a repair. He sucked the glue in with a shop vac. It works great, iv tried it a few times. Keep up the great work.
Regarding your keyhole hardware @10:35 - I personally like to use a keyhole router bit on the back of the shelf which basically allows you to mount the shelf flush on the wall - works very nicely
Great video, thanks for sharing. Very inspirative. I need to buy these keyhole plates. Thanks for sharing. Last year I made a small shelf which I had to hang on the wall. I did not have any spare keyhole plates. Only some which were mounted to another shelf. According to that I tried to make them myself. In the end I succeeded. The result isn't worth to show (and nobody sees them because they're at an invisible spot. But it took me hours to make them, using a drill and files. After that I tried to buy them locally in shops. Nowhere for sale. Long live the internet and China.
Good work using scraps. I think they turned out well. If I might offer some advice, joining the edges that you will glue makes a more solid joint than a saw cut. I've also seen panels glued up in the field using a block plane to take off the saw marks before glueing.
great idea for using up some scraps , i like the drawer front ones think the carving gives it a nice look, hope the new tools are working well for you !
I really enjoy your videos. You are so resourceful and I so appreciate your description of what you are doing. When you had your girlfriend on you were so helpful and gentile and it made me like you so much more. Thanks.
Keith, if you have an IKEA nearby they sell a plastic drill guide called FIXA for £2 which enables you to screw handles, screws etc in perfect symmetry. Well worth a couple of quid and it will save you quite a bit of time. Hope this helps.
Hi keith. Really like your channel. Your video are really well made and really like the way you take time in explain everything. I am a bit of a wood worked my self and was wondering why you use a hand planner a lot compare to a electric one ? Is there a special reason behind it or you just prefer the feel of a hand planner ? Thanks. David
Nicely done Keith, they look great and some good ideas there as well. One thing those keyhole plates, i thought you had to route the keyhole first, then put the plates over it making it more easier to latch onto the screw head? Barry (Wirral)
They work fine surface mounted too. If you recessed them the screws in the wall would just need to poke out a little more off the wall, either way is good👍
Nice work mate I like the look of them myself. In future mate I would resess the keyhole brackets into the back of the project so when they hook on the wall the work piece sits flush against the wall..... secret fixings 👍
Hi Keith, they look great! As someone currently struggling with a boiled linseed oil + Briwax finish can I please ask: 1. How many coats of BLO do you use and how long do you allow each one to dry? 2. How long do you leave Briwax on before wiping excess off and buffing? Oh and lastly... are you still happy with your Bs350 bandsaw? I’m thinking of getting same machine!
Nice vid thanks. What type of clamp was the first in the vid, the ones you put on a flat surface? I've got quick grips and g clamps but both are rubbish for joining chopping boards.
I use pallets and reclaimed wood to make small items. Though I love making things, it is a very expensive hobby. Tried to sell some items on eBay with little success. Does etsy really work for you? And how do you get around delivery costs?
I can't recall which RUclips woodwork channel, but someone had the bright idea of using the compressed air nozel to blow wood glue into such cracks; I can confirm this works a treat because it forces the glue in deep. Just a thought; although regrettably no my idea.
Hey Keith, i have a roll of leather what i use for my strops but i have more than enough for me so i was wondering if i could send you some for yourself and if so where do i send it?
Look really good. Have you tried thorns hardware in Norwich? I find them really good for fixings abd screws, and any other diy stuff. Abd not that much more expensive than the Internet

Rag 'n' Bone Brown what would cost be to deliver your dog beds for example?
Those coat racks will be like heirlooms no one else will have them. Like how you keep it simple.
Great job. That's some inspiring ideas. Thank you for sharing.
this is unbelievable. so great how you saw the potential in all those scraps.
I appreciated hearing Dylan's Desire album playing the background lol. Great work!
Keith, I'm constantly amazed at the 'junk' you save and consistently impressed by what you do with it. 👍👍👍
Those are beautiful ❤ especially love the ones made from drawer fronts

I'M A WINNER...Come on down! With a tear in my eye, Thank you Mr Brown...In the words of REO Speedwagon....Can't fight this feeling!
Yeeeeeah! Glad you got my comment, was worried you wouldn't see it (doesn't seem to be a way to DM via RUclips). Will get the glasses posted to you tomorrow if not Monday!
You have so many wonderful tools to hon your craft. You make me really miss my dad. He was also a wizard with woodwork. Keep up the work. great
One of my favorite videos. Great use of scraps
Very good use of scrap wood. I love all these projects. Thank you for sharing.
Friday is always a double win. Drinks and your vids, good times! A great use of your scrap wood Keith.
Old drawer fronts, fantastic idea!
The coat racks are sweet looking!

.
I love them mate the one with the inlay and the carved draw fronts were very nice.
hi Keith
I saw a great tip on the wood whisperer for getting glue deep in to a repair. He sucked the glue in with a shop vac. It works great, iv tried it a few times. Keep up the great work.
another inspireing vid for recycling scraps... :)
And more important... i like you are getting into handtools over powertools ;) cheers!
Nicely done Keith great way too get rid off some scraps and make money its a winner all round thanks for sharing

I will be getting some of those keyhole plates.

Innovative! These are the vids that you do I enjoy the most. thx!
great idea for using up some scraps , i like the drawer front ones think the carving gives it a nice look, hope the new tools are working well for you !
Great use for the old drawer fronts!
Very nice indeed Kieth, well done my friend....worth every penny 👍🏼😊😉
Love them. Great work with a great result
Nice little projects. Thank you!
I suggest you consider recessing the keyhole plates so that the rack fit against the wall. It makes a better finish as you don't have the gap behind.
They came out lovely !!!!!!
Great ideas... thank you.
Excellent work, they all look very good
I think the way you used the drawer fronts was pretty cool.
PARABÉNS, quanta habilidade, adorei ver a simpatia do rapaz!
Obrigado por compartilhar comigo seus conhecimentos.

Thank you!
Lovely job great use for off cuts now I have ideas what to with mine🙋🙋🙋
Nice work on all the Key & coat & Hat racks Keith! Thanks for sharing the video.😎👍JP
I found some really cool chinesium hardware that takes similar projects to the next level. Great Friday video, thanks.
Very very good !me gusta mucho tu trabajo ! Adelante por nuevo proiecto y gracias para tu ideias!
Another great little project mate! Brilliant way to use up the scraps 😉
I like the style very much! It would fit perfect to my old barn bed and breakfast..... absoulutley great Work!
I hope I can become this good some day. I'm making my first oak picture frame now.
Beautiful work. Did you consider doing a french polish on the inlay piece? I think it would look impressive.
Nice work Keith :) I love seeing stuff being recycled and a great job you did of it :) ॐ
Very Resourceful !!!

Another 'goodun' Keith, well done mate.

Great job! Always love your videos!
great use of scraps
Nice project, keep up the videos please!
Great video thanks for letting us see it first 🙂
Nice video Keith they look great buddy
Enjoyed watching!
Like the inlays ,see your using the Hitachi drill Keith.
Yeah it’s nice. I love the chuck, it’s knurled metal, feels like such a nice quality tool
Hi keith. Really like your channel. Your video are really well made and really like the way you take time in explain everything.
I am a bit of a wood worked my self and was wondering why you use a hand planner a lot compare to a electric one ?
Is there a special reason behind it or you just prefer the feel of a hand planner ?
Thanks.
David
It’s often quicker for me to use a hand plane rather than set up and use my planer/thicknesser. I also find it much more enjoyable.
Have you tried to do anything with antlers?.
Nicely done Keith, they look great and some good ideas there as well.
One thing those keyhole plates, i thought you had to route the keyhole first, then put the plates over it making it more easier to latch onto the screw head?

They work fine surface mounted too. If you recessed them the screws in the wall would just need to poke out a little more off the wall, either way is good👍
Very creative!
Nice work mate I like the look of them myself. In future mate I would resess the keyhole brackets into the back of the project so when they hook on the wall the work piece sits flush against the wall..... secret fixings 👍
Suggest you might use a compressed air to push the glue into cracks that are inaccessible
Great tip never thought of that 👍
Good job for using your scraps so they don't end up flooding your workshop. It's better than burning them like i do =).
thanks for hearting
Great projects!! Great video!
As soon as you placed the drawer front down i thought, Sconces. They would make nice looking backs for a couple of matching sconces
Hi Keith, they look great! As someone currently struggling with a boiled linseed oil + Briwax finish can I please ask:

2. How long do you leave Briwax on before wiping excess off and buffing?
Oh and lastly... are you still happy with your Bs350 bandsaw? I’m thinking of getting same machine!
1. Usually only one or two, maybe more on the end grain 2. A few hours or over night, and yes very happy with the bandsaw, no complaints at all
I frigging love your videos! And I totally know what you mean about Briwax under your finger nails! Eek!
Nice vid thanks. What type of clamp was the first in the vid, the ones you put on a flat surface? I've got quick grips and g clamps but both are rubbish for joining chopping boards.
Sash clamp. Mine are aluminium cheap ones. They’re not the best but do the job
Anothet great video. I liked those draw front ones.. Id have loved to have seen the whole unit they came from.
nice work!🇮🇹
I use pallets and reclaimed wood to make small items. Though I love making things, it is a very expensive hobby. Tried to sell some items on eBay with little success. Does etsy really work for you? And how do you get around delivery costs?
Etsy is no easier than eBay, if anything it’s a bit harder as there’s so much competition. What do you mean by how do I get around delivery costs?
Oh I was so hoping that you had done the carving in the wood. Another good video though
Nice, dude.
I can't recall which RUclips woodwork channel, but someone had the bright idea of using the compressed air nozel to blow wood glue into such cracks; I can confirm this works a treat because it forces the glue in deep. Just a thought; although regrettably no my idea.

Bob Dylan - Desire, nice...
do you have a link for the coat hooks?
The hooks themselves? They were salvaged. If you mean the racks they were on my Etsy but sold this morning
Nice
Watch your fingers on the table saw👍🏻
Hey Keith, i have a roll of leather what i use for my strops but i have more than enough for me so i was wondering if i could send you some for yourself and if so where do i send it?
Sure that’d be great if you have more than you need. Drop me an email ragnbonebrown@gmail.com and I’ll send you a postal address. Thank you!
Bravo! Is the snow going to make a cameo appearance in the next installment? Always love the Friday night vid.
Personally I like the coat rocks the best.
Nice. Although if looks like you put the keyhole plates on incorrectly. There shouldn't be a gap between the wall and the back of board.
Keith your accent is remarkably similar to that of Ricky Gervais, are you based in Reading?
Haha! No I’m in Norwich
hi where did you get the key hole plates from please
amzn.to/2oM2T9V (Amazon UK) amzn.to/2tcCRSQ (Amazon US)
thank you
Make a template for the hooks as well
Look really good.
Have you tried thorns hardware in Norwich? I find them really good for fixings abd screws, and any other diy stuff. Abd not that much more expensive than the Internet
Really enjoy it. Let's check woodprix plans also.
using wax without gloves makes people think you've wiped your backside with your hands...anyway....great video!

Au au.
The rounded ends of the hooks are too big fo the keys
