You can use other brand but I normally prefer Babas brand and I feel this brand gives the best taste.

Hi how to know whether murukku is cooked? It should be slightly brown or white as coconut milk is added? Thank you

When it's cooked the bubbles will be less. Dont wait till its brown coz if its brown than after cool down it will turn out to be more brown and hard...just see when bubbles are less that means its already cooked. Tq
