I think I’m having conversations with Ram Dass through his lectures and through spiritual contact. I’ll have a problem or issue going on and then I’ll pick a “random” lecture of his and hear something that is a direct response relating to what’s going on with me. I’ll also have conversations with him in my head. I’m not sure if those are real but they help either way

If we are all the same and we are all love and we all have healing ability, then what would prevent a therapist from having the same wisdom and love as Ram Dass himself? If someone feels pain and disease and needs to be heard in a way that family and friends often struggle with, it would be reckless to discourage that.

Maybe that’s why it all feels the same to me. Oh, the Soviet collapse was also happening around 1990. That marked a total global al shift toward democracy and modernism at the time. That’s what the same people are fighting against now. So funny in a strange way. There was the 1990s Putin now the 2024 Putin. There was the 1990s Trump. Now, we have the 2024 Trump. Same suspects in different times that they built.

Ram said something profound to me that I try to remember in the beginning stages of anger. I usually remember it at the end, after I’ve fought to ‘prove my point’. When my body is aching and I feel sick with the unreasonableness of people. To be seen as righteous in my anger by the one or thing it’s directed at.. that’s what I want more than anything. But in that moment at the end when the battle is over I realize I have gained nothing, because your not arguing with someone that can listen or reason, remember.
He said, “i would rather be free than right.”
My interpretation: in life you will be beset on all sides , especially on social media, by people who don’t want to ‘reason’ or can’t. You will have great battles with lovers, family, and You will have valid reasons to be angry. Your anger WILL be righteous and ‘worthy’ of vengeance. BUT. The lesson is, would you rather be righteous about your indignation? Or would you rather be free? So try to give up anger as much as you can and keep working on it. And keep listening to Ram lectures everyday.
‘Give up anger and I’ll help you.’
‘You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.”

"I sat with my anger long enough until she told me her real name is grief." C.S. Lewis
And I sat with that grief long enough to discover that I wasn't bereft of anything, for I have lost nothing. I was not sad that I'd been hurt; I was sad for a being haven forgotten who they are, for only that false self could persuade them to act as they do.
And I sat with that sadness and discovered that it is another face of love. I saw that each time I agreed to let a false self commit an unloving act, I enabled it to get stronger, further entrapping the beloved.
So, with the deepest of love in my heart, I can now detach from anyone committed to perpetuating their illusions and delusions.
For some the lesson is to learn how to stay. For others, it's to learn how to go.

Thank you for your message. It is a message of many to my spirits awakening. In 2022 you’re message is more prophetic and needed than ever. You would be laughing your ass off at the irony of your comments on Mr. Trump. Someone has to take the journey. I am thankful mine is more in line with yours and so many others who are called to bring light and abundance to the spirits on this journey. Til we meet again dear friend much love and peace.

Everything I thought I was is coming to an end. I have those sudden urges to end all kinds of things (like therapy, becoming a coach, self help group,.) that made me believe I was less of, was sick or somehow defective.
I see, I am whole. I have always been and I get to be just that - a breathing entity.

When I listened to this lecture for the first time, there was something about the chanting ( @1:36:19 ) that really struck me with a powerful feeling. Just feeling. Just the feeling of being human. Now it is a normal part of my meditative routine.
Hovering over the video and seeing that this part is the "most replayed", I'm guessing I'm not the only person who feels this way..

@1:29:45 So true. 3-5 years from 1990, life completely changed for everyone.
Add 5 years to that, the year 2000...
And again a few more times and here we are... 2022. Internet went from being created and spread across dial up internet to... what it is now. Changes all of our lives constantly. We don't even realize it, we're so used to the change.

Glad I got over his comment about the child abuse club so that I could listen to the rest because I think this is one of his best talks. And as it turns out, he just shows in the beginning what he is speaking about later. We know that the dualism is in us and yet we don’t buy into dark bad light good unless that’s how they’re being manifested in behavior.
I just wish I would’ve been there to ask him What to do when now is fucked because it’s really hard to be here now when it hurts so much that it feels like you’re standing in flame and you can’t get out. I’m so tired of pain and I got to meet him when I was really young and I didn’t have these questions… he just said the funny thing is is that you’ll go where you think you’re gonna go when you die. That’s exactly what my daughter told me when she was a little girl when I asked her what she thought happens when we die. Bless her she’s not a little girl anymore and I hope she finds her way back to me💔🙏🏽❤️

    Luke 17:21
"21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
    Matthew 6:33
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Unfortunately, almost all of us do it the other way around. Going through avoidable sufferings and then seek the treasure within that has been obscured by external destructions.
Thanks to Jesus and teachings like Ram Dass for enabling us to discover our true Self❤❤❤
