Fab 🙌 If love to make a dress version like this.. saw an amazing STAUD dress in the sales but I figure I could make the same with a few metres if cotton or linen 😜
❤ I am defo planning to try it in a dress form, it would be fab is a silk or satin😍 it would be fab in cotton, even in a crisp poplin, prob be more suited to summer but it would be lovely! You are defo well able to make it yourself 👌 and it would be a one off 😉
Thanks for the vid, i have a question, why didnt u add 1,5 cm to the side cuz u took it out from th dart, but u added 1 cm.. I hope u explain why, and we dont have to add 1,5 for the dart?
Hey! good question! On your skirt block your darts should measure 2cm each. so when you trace out the skirt block you don't add the darts because you are going to create new ones. But the new darts we add in are 1cm bigger than the original, which means you are losing 1cm in the skirt waist, so to make sure the measurements of the waist don't change we add the extra 1cm to the side seam. I hope this helps :)
Anti fast fashion, good for the planet, good for the soul, will defo be using this so many thanks 🙏🏻, despite being a mathematical imbecile I actually understood this! Have a bunch of virtual flowers 💐 and stay safe!!!!!
I didn't get onw thing... Each panels aafter adding 3cm are cut down, so how are we gonna trace it on the fabric ? I mean those single panels will be traced again and made into one skirt on a paper and then cut it down right ?
Great tutorial. I think this I may have to do this when I have some time off from work. Thanks for sharing!

Hey! You cut them on the fold, so you should have one front and one back 😊
