Polar roll in Marquette Michigan February 18-19 probably one of the best fat bike races there is imho and I know your familiar with Marquette from the Marji
I grew up on snowmobiles up home in Maine. Now…as a cyclist….you have ME hooked and wanting to do a fat bike race now! Thanks for the awesome vids. Rubber side down ✌️🚵♂️
Long time follower of you from "back in the day"...I guess we are all getting older! Stumbled across your youtube videos and online media, LOVE IT! Keep it up. You rock JB!
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse Next year is the 10th anniversary of Marji and Todd is doing a special 200 mile version. Maybe you can talk Todd into granting you entry.
Race looked awesome and the edit was pretty good, really liked the music. Some of the camera work was kind of rough though. I think a chin mount on a full face like the downhill guys use would have been perfect here - although the angles pointing back up at you were really cool as well.
Just stumbled on your video searching fat bike content. Amazing performance. The Canyon Dude stock runs 3.8" tires. Are those what you were riding? If so, do you think it was an advantage?
Hey JB, great race - I'm curious, do you remember what size tires you ran? I think the Dude ships with 3.8", but I'm wondering if those are big enough for these conditions. I'm doing my first fatbike race next Feb and trying to figure out if I should go with the stock 3.8's or upsize to 4.8".
Definitely get wider rims and tires!!! These are only good for hard pack groomed conditions. Riding with Jay in west Yellowstone he has some insane HED rims and he was floating away from us!!
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouseawesome, thank you! I just got a new set of rims with 4.8" tires... so hopefully that'll do the trick! I picked a bit of a tough first race, 4km of groomed trails, then finishing with a 6km climb that averages 12%... at least it's only 10km though!
Mr. Bishop…did you win the National Collegiate Mountain Bike Championship one year at Devil’s Head Ski Resort In Wisconsin…1996 or 1997???? Was that you?
In Ohio, the people who'll bust your balls for riding on a damp trail during regular riding season are the same ones that can't wait to tear that same trail up on their fat bikes when winter comes around.
Nobody has as much fun "in the pain cave" as JB does! He makes it look like its pain free!!
I'm almost speechless.. great race dude there was no doubt for me that you would pull it out.

I second this! I was telling Tyler Pearce at Fat Bike Worlds that you should have been racing with us JB.

My hat goes off to you . Fat biking to me is like going to church and the magic is in sometimes you don’t know where the sermon will take you.
Those trails are so much fun even when it's dry... watching you blast them on snow looks incredible. Well done.
Outstanding Ride JB! And the footage is awesome!
Thanks 🙏
Motivating JB!
Thanks please subscribe and
Like to grow the channel! 🙌
Awesome effort. Your stoke is contagious!

Cool vid! I know who you are from the impossible route videos and it’s cool to find your channel. This definitely makes fat bike racing look fun.
Man this was awesome. Great video and great riding. All that funny looking white stuff is never seen in south Georgia 😂
❣😄Good times! Looks like a 💥 blast!
SO Fun!
You are on RUclips???? Sweet!
What was the set up for the camera? GoPro? Wrist strap?
Handlebar mount. And just put the attachment clip in my mouth most of the shots.
Then hand held. I like the mini tripod tho
Excellent video!
Thank you!!
Awesome footage, looks like a ton of fun
Thanks,
I was a skeptic but it was a blast!
It was such an awesome course, glad you got to come out and congrats on the win! Thanks for sharing with the world!
Always welcome in Ontario.
Making it look easy !!!
It was no! 😀 I’m just getting good at talking while going full threshold
This looks so much fun. Can’t wait for the next IR episode
The views of riding through the laurel, young beech, and hemlock! Classic Appalachian.
You need to do The Polar Roll in Marquette, MI.
Same guy from 906AT that puts on the Marji Gesick you loved so much.
It’s funny you should say that I was talking to Todd last week!! Polar Roll or something even bigger!

Those trails look fantastic, silky smooth with no post holes.
Hiya Jeremiah, love your content Cheers..
Cheers
Hope you’re doing Monstercross again this year. It was cool to get crushed by you last year.
I'll be there. See if I can make it happen again!
Come up to Wisconsin, lots of snow races every weekend if you want
"only 6 good inches on it...and you gotta find it"

Only in perfect conditions. 90% of the time bigger tires bigger rims faster
The sheer physical effort and mental fortitude must have been incredulous!!!!
headed out that way soon for a dolly sods bikepack trip...definitely doing this race next year this looks so fun lol. awesome vid
Definitely!!
Great footage, looks fun!
Thanks!!

I almost did this race! Damn... I missed out.
I'm wondering how your face feels after 3 hours of a shit eating grin. :) Awesome job!
Fat bikings the best!
You have a new sub'r. Nice work
Fabulous!!😁😁😁
Solid effort!
whats a good light hydro pack?
I have an osprey non sponsor. They have vest that are well engineered
dam wth, i need a fatbike now

What brand of bikes did you see there?
It's ALL ABOUT the Smart Wool long underwear look! As someone who exclusively rides in cut-off Dickies, I (for one?) approve! Heart!
Are your tires studded?
No but for east coast the semi studded 45 NRTH would be the bomb!
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse thanks keep making videos 😃
🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼
Yes So fun!!
Just curious, what kind of tire pressure are you guys running?
@Derek Eadie Thank you Derek...
Come race the fat birkie! It is the biggest fat bike race in the world. 1500+ racers and some really fast guys!
Jeremiah's a flat bill dude. Who knew?
BLIZZZZZ ON MY FACE!
"I wonder how Tyler is doing?" HAHAHA.. if you only knew at that time 🍆🍆❄❄
