- I'm back with yet another dupe review, this time I'm testing a dupe from a company I haven't heard of before (the company itself isn't new though). I'll be trying out Morning Matcha from Alexandria Fragrances. It is supposed to be inspired by Thé Matcha 26 by Le Labo which I absolutely love. Will this one get a thumbs up or a thumbs down? It’s so good to see that you actually read and respond to comments. I follow some smaller channels and they never respond to comments at all and it’s not like they get that many, no shade to them. So cool that you got something a subscriber mentioned to you
Lol I try to but some of them slip through the cracks sometimes. I think it’s important to interact with the people who take the time to write a comment. I’m nothing without you guys, so it’s the least I can do. I don’t think she is a subscriber but I’ll always check into anything people recommend!! 😁
I'm glad I found your channel! There's only two stores selling Alexandria perfumes in my country. They're about 75 dollars (55ml) and there's not that much to choose from, so I didn't think it was that good for a dupe, besides, those two stores are far from my home so I can't go test them out in person, everything needs to be a blind buy. On the other hand, perfumes like Le Labo or Kilian are almost impossible to get, and it's very expensive if you buy them abroad... I bough Fade to Black (Back to Black dupe), Dark Knight (Black Phantom) and Santal's Kiss (Santal 33) and loved them all. I've never smelled The Matcha 26 and I don't have anywhere to do it. I love several kinds of fragrances (woody, incense, earthy, but also gourmand and super sweet fragrances). The way you talk about it makes me really want it... 10ml decants are about 21 dollars, should I just blind buy the whole bottle or buy the decant even though it's not cost-effective? I cannot decide!!
Oh nooo that’s unfortunate that you live far from the stores to be able to test them out! I agree, it is expensive for just a dupe. It sounds like you’re like me and typically like most fragrances you come across. I would advise you to go for the 55ml cause I think you’ll like it since you mentioned you like earthy scents. I would also advise to check their return policy because you may be able to just return it for a refund or maybe at least store credit. But if you hate the hassle of returning things (like me lol) but would still rather not take the risk of paying that much, get the tester size. It’s pretty strong so you may be able to get a lot out of that size and then decide to upgrade and get the bigger one later. I’m a super indecisive person so hopefully this isn’t making your decision harder lol. You can always try to mix it with other fragrances in your collection if you don’t end up liking it. i got a sample of thé matcha recently and i didn’t realize it was so expensive until after i fell in love with it haha. i’m SO glad you posted this review, and tbh i do like the idea of a scent that’ll project more do i’ll def be getting a sample of the dupe
I’m happy to hear you like it! It’s definitely a unique scent that grows on you with each spray. I think you’ll like the dupe as well. It’s probably gonna last a good bit longer than TM26. Let me know what you think when you get the dupe!! 😁🫶🏽

I love the earthy, photorealistic matcha tea scents. For me that is Roasted Green Tea by J-Scent. I can't wait to try this one!

Haha thank you girl!!! I know of another one from Maison Margiela that has matcha called Matcha Meditation that has a similar vibe. They really use a lot of things we don’t think of in fragrances!

I can’t believe a company made a dupe of it cause I remember that you really like it from your other video and not thinking someone would come out with one. I’ll have to try it if I ever get the chance and of course we would buy things you talk about. I bought the travel size delina because if you and I didn’t even know they made travel sizes.
