Two video’s today with Two Toes in them must be a great day !!!!!! That means twice the Gold 🍀
Love the drone shots !!!!!!
You two fellas are very blessed men. Be safe out there.
@@rockbottom1969 Thanks !!!!
That Gary what a funny guy right Jeff. He finds a 3 gram nugget and says its small but I guess I'll keep it lol.
Nuff said! I want u "two" to come shoot a vid at my place!
Something's right in the world, Gary's on my TV again...thankfully 🤙
Just what I needed while having my morning coffee...a Two Toes video. My wife and I were going to camp for the next few days over the mountains in gold country, but the weather looks pretty cold and wet for that. Changed our plan to day tripping so won't be going as far. First stop is the closest hydraulic pit that had some small sucess with coarse gold. We will see if my winter homework and this video will bring me luck.
Good stuff as usual. I really do appreciate your offering insight as to why you are prospecting where you are. Truly helpful. I love watching your videos. Have a great week.
Nice haul Gary and Jeff. Gary you be careful out there sir 👍 great lunchtime video. 👍🇺🇸⚒😊🍀
I was going to call you, but I have now lost you number 3 times! lol
Thanks for the great time out in my day! Much appreciated Gary!
More great tips on hunting the hydraulic pits Gary ! Keep em coming haha
Everytime I’m out detecting a pit I think to myself “what would Gary look for...”??!! 🤔
And then I still find nothing . Lol 😂
I sure have a ton of fun anyways tho
Those were some beautiful nugs you found and how cool to see so much smaller gold hiding with it !!
Can’t wait to go again soon
LOL
wwgd, what would gary do, my go to phrase when lookin for gold.
I have subscribed recently and there can't even be any gold found in Holland where I live, except at the jeweller's!
But your videos are so relaxing, you seem like fantastic guy.
Wonderful job Gary. Enjoy watching all of your videos. Very professional. Hope you can keep it going for a long time. You and Jeff Williams are the best, in my opinion. Cheers.
So glad you are ok. As always thank you for an awesome video.⛏
im glad your ok gary . thanks for the video, i always enjoy them.
Ancient river beds are such a mystery. Love that sound when the nugget hit the scles. Thanks Gary.
Illuminating and entertaining as always sir! (&glad to hear your telltale entro music is back, i was startn to miss it) Keep up the great videos and sharing the good times Mr. Gary!!!
5:28 That's a genuine gold smile right there! Nice gold Gary
Thanks for the great explanations, Gary. Sorry about the fall.
Just started the video and already back to comment, drone shots are great! Fantastic
Great little adventure Gary, and a bit more gold to add to the poke.
Good day to you Gary, nice to watch you once again. Been missing your videos. Learned lots today, thank you 😊
We are so glad you're ok!! Glad to see you found some nice gold.... like you wouldn't lol😁😁 always love a Monday morning with the Goat. Much love from over here in Lake county.
A fun trip. I always pick up a new pointer from you. Thanks. I am glad you and your detector are OK.
As long as you beat Jeff everything is aok. I like the fact that you explore so many different areas and not just the same thing over and over. I hope after the River goes down you have some sniping videos planned. Gary, you have a keen sense when it comes to finding gold and really nice gold too! Take care Gary and Jeff!
A greate video, like most of your videos. Wish i could do like you and Jeff - exploring the Californian hills for gold
Thanks Gary you gave me a few more things to look for when I'm in the field!
Wow love your videos that I have been watching for about a month now. I live in Rough and Ready with Deer creek in my back yard on my property. Not alot of gold but it's just a walk down the hill. But after watching your vids I have been finding more so thanks for the lessons on where to find it. Maybe about a gram a short day.
Another good one Garry, thank you. 👍🏻
Thanks Gary...I've learned quite a bit since I have SUBSCRIBED to your RUclips channel. Especially how to Crevice. I recently retired and now am living in Baja California and recently have started my life long passion of prospecting for gold. Sorry about your tumble. Glad you're all right. Take care ol timer. That's miner talk. Haha.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Good tips at rock reading.
Glad you're fine Gary..
Hope you still have all your ""Two Toes!!""
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos! I'm new to prospecting after retiring in the foothills above Colorado Springs. Not much gold around my house but surrounding areas can be fair panning. Nuggets are hard to come by here so I've heard. I'll try to apply what I've learned from you and who knows, maybe I'll hit the mother lode! ;)
Thanks for another good video.
Good to see you getting some nice nuggets
I look forward to your next video
Great work with the video
Your videos are great. You give a lot of useful information about gold prospecting. Hopefully you did not get hurt tumbling down the hill? Thanks heaps for you knowledge and information you do a awesome job 👍🏽
Thanks for the video...and my new crevice tool and other stuff I bought! I already tried the crevice tool. Dont know how I ever got along without it! Gonna get another one for backup! Id love to have a longer, thicker one! Heavy pans!
Like always is a pleasure to wach you guys keep the videos coming . And no more tumbling down the mountain lol
Pretty darn good, Gary....!
Another great video and some nice color in the pan and stay safe over there.
Very nice bench you found there good thing you decided to pan it great outcome and great vid
Hi Gary , really interesting information about the miners work they did there . It would be cool if one day you came across a hot spot for the gold . Keep on diggin and I wish ya luck my friend ⛏
Great video Gazza keep up the good work brother 👊🏻🤠👍🏻
Good lookin area ! Looked like fun !
I ENJOYED the video as usual!! CONGRATS on the GOLD!! NamVetLesTreasureSeeker.
Lots of work. Sure glad you didn't hurt yourself too bad! We're getting a little long in the tooth for those shenanigans!

Man I would love a chance to pan with you. Wisconsin is flour gold....happy not complaining. You are just awesome!
Wow, amazing video, thank you

Gary - "not real big, but we'll take it"
Me - "Huuuuuge nugget!!!!"
good show Gary
that was cool very good gold , keep up the great vids
Great video! Hope you get to feeling better..two toe goats aren't supposed to fall..lol
thanks for show and info
Great video I wish my prospecting knowledge was just half your own.
Spoken like a true detectorist:
"I fell down a hill...but thank God my detector is ok!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍
Hello my favourite channel...sir i live in mountains so can u tell me best detector for nuggets
Great video and info Gary, the pits get so hot but so does the river banks, when can we go sniping!! I'm watching the water level daily with anticipation lol..
Going to try and do a scouting trip into the sniping grounds this week. Think there is still to much flow, but going to check anyway.
I love detecting around the fringes of heavily worked or surfaced areas.
What wasn’t rich enough ground for the ole boys is plenty rich enough for us 🍺
Do the big crevices too, they cleaned them but quit just before the gold as it got hard.
Gary, how much did the largest piece you panned weigh? Is it too small to pick up with the detector? Nice job
Have you ever considered a large golf umbrella and a lightweight rig to secure it upright? Shade would be a game changer. 👍
Thanks for the informative videos! Is it a waste of time to look for gold along the EASTERN side of the Sierras? And where do you draw the line on altitude.... is the gold up high at all?
Carson City, Nevada has gold and silver and its on the east side
Gary three grams is a pretty good day. I’ll bet your sore from the tumble down the hill. If I did that I wouldn’t be able to walk for a couple days. Great video buddy I enjoyed it
Great job Gary, glad you are ok. Are you going to the dog on the 13th ??? 😃
Wow. How much space do those piles/sections of gravel cover? I was pretty amazed by the drone view. And really nice gold!
A lot, I would guess 40 - 60 acres.
Two Toes thank you. And I’m glad you are ok after emulating Pauly!
Hey Gary, love the videos thanks so much for doing what you do! Hope you see this, if you had to guess, how often would you say you need 4WD to access the spots you prospect? Do you notice a major difference in the quality of the ground between spots that need 4WD to access vs those that don't?
I don't have a 4 wheel drive, so I would say never. Just a lot of hiking. lol
@@TwoToes Great to know, thanks for the reply!
Off topic, but what do you like to wear on your feet for sniping? I'm deciding if I want a wet suit boot with a hard sole or a dry suit boot with a sock.. It's cold water here on Vancouver Island!
If the river has spots where you have to walk around gravel bars, then I use old work boots. I get old boots from the flea market that are a size to large, then use wet suit socks. If there isn't much hiking then I will use semi hard sole wet suit boots.
Good day to you Gary, I have dumb question, what is hydraulic mining. New to this.
Basically using water under high pressure to blast away the old river channels, so the gravel can be run threw a sluice box to recover the gold.
I could have sworn I saw you out in Prescott AZ this last weekend.
Must have been my evil twin
@@TwoToes that would explain the sinister scowl he gave me!🤣 Glad I didn't yell "I like your videos!" That could have been downright awkward!
LOL
LOL
If that is private land and you know the owner it sure would be neat to haul a dozer out there to stir around the piles, then see what you might find out there Gary.
Geez, Gary, glad you didn't get badly hurt in your mountaineering exercise! At least, as usual, you brought home some nice gold! Gary, what brand is your weighing scale?
LOL I just checked - I guess they weren't proud enough of it, no name! Think I might look for one that they are not afraid to put there name on.
@@TwoToes LOL! Well, as long as it's doing a proper count on that gold, the important part has taken care of... thanks for checking!
Is the Morristown? That’s a place I’d like to check out. I see you are wearing an electrical supply hat. Do you do any electrical work? Good informative video. See ya next time
I'm a long way from Morristown. I'm a architectural metal contractor.
Two Toes i see. I’m a licensed electrician so I was just curious.
Not bad nearly 4g in a day pretty good man 🇦🇺👍
Gary I was just wondering if you have any idea where I can get one those Jimmy coils I'm looking for one I have the same TDI White's TDI that you have and I'm looking for thatJimmy coil I know they don't make them anymore but whites is trying to take over with them and it's just kind of slow I live here in Sweet Home Oregon and I call them all the time and they just aren't ready to produce them yet I guess. just kind of interested in getting another one all I have is that 12 in" that comes with it the detector
I put that Jimmy coil on a new TDI and it did not work worth a darn. I buried a small nugget about 5 inches deep and my detector with the Jimmy coil read it loud and clear. The new TDI picked it up but just barely. When I put the Jimmy coil on the new detector it would not pick it up at all. When I put the stock small coil from the new TDI on my detector it picked it up fine.
@@TwoToes I have the same one you have I bought it in 2009 or 10 it is not the new ones DSL or the pro thanks for your reply and happy hunting man
The SL not DSL
Nice work
Hope your ok mate
Could tell you were not good
I’m 67 I know the feeling lol
Not good hahaha
Cheers
Crouch Oz
Gary got any sweatshirts?
I can't find sweatshirts that are any good. I hate cheep made in China stuff.
Those old timers moved a lot of material
Archaeology is using lidar to find old buried villages, I wonder if you can get earth images like google to hunt for buried creek beds. I'd look but I don't need it for fishing and hiking, lol!.......... and take your NMN and tribulus supplements, it's a party for old guy hiking!
Hi Jeff and Gary. Looks like he beat ya again Jeff? We did not see your take Jeff?
I got two nuggets I guess I need to get moving on my video's I'm behind !!
Wonder what was a good day for the original miners?
Malakoff Diggings!!😄
Nope
Thanks Gary. We are having a baby today gotta run,..
tim colgan congrats
Oh Gary! Please be careful and have a buddy with you. We don’t want to see you break anymore bones.
I was there when he came back over the ridge
Intro song sounds like an old Led Zeppelin tune.
Hey to toes I try to get a hold of you a couple times but anyway I found this ring or button do you know what it is I have a 43 Acres right past the bridge there on Highway 70 I got a lot of mineralisation and things like that and a lot of quartz veins I just started this and I watched a lot of your videos I like your style of teaching anyway the ringer button that I found I found it a up by the train bridge with the train bridge and Highway come together they're down down a bit you know I'm talking about in the moblin or whatever they call it it was pinned between two Boulders and it look like it's been there for a long time but I am I had to mess with it I thought it was gold but I don't know anyway nice talking to you
Oh so yeah this is Jerry again I don't know how to send a picture on this so I describe it it's got 5 circular stones and then one in the middle it's held up by metal it look really old but I put it in something in it get rid of the tarnish good that the stones look porous the first day look like gold and I don't know any other way to describe it but if I could send a picture I also found some gold on my property that I I don't know if it's Golder pyrite but you know put it in my mouth and actually bent it so thanks gold
Not vary big. LOL That 2nd CHUNK of Gold would had made my trip.
Well I'm finally coming up your way, I'm stopping at your store to pick up some supplies from you, and hopefully get to me you. Going to Shasta, so won't take a lot of your time, until then you need to rest your bones
Pulls out a gram nugget, oh it’s not real big but guess I’ll show ya 😆
Trick number one: Do not tumble down any hills.
Every time I find a pit it’s got a claim on it, I’m still trying to find one that’s open 🤔
Chines Workings ? Man they cleaned ever nook and cranny. Washed off every rock I think.
They were very good at getting most of it!
It's a couple day's later, as usual lol
