What if we have a mediator or moderator? Do we exclude that variable or include it in the list of independent variables? Also please confirm that these variables are computed using MEAN from Likert scale items.
If you have same indipendent variable and another dependent variable, than the result of tolerance and vif factor will be same for different?
Multicollinearity will only be checked for independent variables.
what is the solution if we have multicollinearity issue
There are multiple remedies. One of the remedies is, you can change the measurement of the existing variable. Another is, merge both the variables which have strongest correlation.
