- How to do Multi-collinearity test? # Tolerance test #VIF
In this video, I have used SPSS software to test the multicollinearity of the independent variables.
Multicollinearity is the estimation of the intercorrelation between the variables.
There are 4 conditions to check the Independent variable don't have the Multicollinearity
1. The Tolerance must be greater than 0.2
2. The Variance Inflation Factor ( VIF) must be less than 5.0
3. The Eigenvalue must not be close to zero
4. The condition index value must be less than 15.
If the independent variable is having multicollinearity mean small change in the data will lead to a major change in the estimations coefficients.
So, Its always better to check the multicollinearity of the Independent variables.

Commendable Explanation Sir.
thank you For your easy expression
Very well explained
Superb 🤗🤗
Thank you very much, sir. Very easy to understand.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Thank u sir.
Thank you very much !!!
great video, but can you also provide the reference for the four conditions
Thank you ! What if I the only indication of a problem I have is one Condition Index value of 18 ? The relevant variable did not raise any problem in the other checks for multicollinearity. Does this indicate it poses a problem and I should remove it?
Sir can you explain how do you find the value for the customer_loyalty?
Nice video sir. But you did not give the reference. Please if possible give the reference too.
Sorry sir but weights in spss and estimates in amos are different, should we consider this as a problem since we put them in the research and this could cause confusion of which one is correct
Thank you in advance
how did you calculoate the the values for constructs customer expectations etc?
do these criteria (tolerance value>0.2, VIF
Respected Sir, I am wondering how do you convert the likert scale (e.g. CE1-CE3) to Customer_Expectation? Thank you so much!
Take the mean of the variables
@@MyEasyStatistics Thank you so much!
@@MyEasyStatistics Sir, can you do a tutorial on this too?
If the tolerance or VIF values is not statistically significant, then can we still interpret them?
Sir please suggest how to solve multicollinearity issues.
Multicollinearity can be completely removed from the model. (True/False). Give reasons.
at which stage should we conduct this, before cfa or sem ??
helllo respected sir
i want to know when we used path analysis(sem) after cfa then whether we have to calculate the validity of sem also????
Yes
how to caculate multicollinearity indices in second order model
yes satish sir pls respond to this question..how to check multi-collinearity in second-order?
Respected Sir, If I have only one independent variable and the rest are dependent variables then also do I need to do multicollinearity test ? Please clarify
No
@@MyEasyStatistics y
Sir, if vif is not statistically significant can we still interpret them?
while you can interpret the coefficients associated with variables having non-significant VIF values with more confidence, it's always a good practice to examine multicollinearity diagnostics comprehensively and consider other factors before making final interpretations.
