I've never heard this live version of this song but it has a completely different feel/mood than the album version which is A LOT more upbeat and poppy
Funny you mention Sunday - that's left out intentionally as in one of their earlier songs he refers to Sunday as his "suicide day" (not literally)

This song was written during covid and in an interview Tyler said, "When you strip away what day of the week it is, you lose your rhythm. You lose your sense of what is up and what is down. And that's a lesson that Josh and I learned pretty quickly on tour, because a Friday night and a Monday night could feel the exact same, whether or not we had a show. When the pandemic happened, everything's shut down, everyone was starting to learn that same lesson, where the days of the week lose their meaning, and it was messing with people's reference of time. You feel like you're swirling and your feet aren't planted. The song is really, I'm talking to my wife, hoping that she sticks with me, even though I'm working through this, even though I'm kind of tumbling into nothingness."
i recommend checking out Ride-live at Fox Theatre or Holding On To You-live at Fox to see some of their more well known songs performed live or checking out the music videos for some of their older songs like Car Radio or Lane Boy.

Their live versions are often completely different from the studio versions. They like to spice it up.
Live versions are great, but you have to check out the actual music video for one of their most popular songs, Car Radio. 🙏
He also said Morph! Great job! You should do the entire Live at the Fox Theater show. I think there's a RUclips video of the whole concert and there are videos of individual songs. But the whole thing is remarkable!

The song holding onto you is a must. There are some really impressive live versions out there.
I hope that after you hear the live versions of their songs, you listen to the studio versions as well. Generally they are way different and better except the Live at Fox Teather concert that you MUST react to if you like to react to live versions.😊

Twenty one pilots are an amazing band with a ton of meaning behind their tracks. I know Stressed Out, Heathens and Saturday have been requests but I think there’re other tracks that will give you a better idea of who they are as a band.
Tracks like Migraine, Holding On To You, Lane Boy, Car Radio (although definitely not a fav of mine, is a really important track to them).
Or for more recent tracks from Trench era check out Morph, My Blood, Chlorine, Pet Cheetah.

Oh and, since you like to wacth live versions, knowing the Twenty One Pilots are masters entertainers at live performances combined with the fantastic audience of Braziil, you should watch them at the Lolapalloza in 2019 in Brazil. Just magical.
In the song "Migraine" he says "Sundays are my suicide days" and has they are known by connecting songs and videos, I believe that's why he doesn't mention Sundays anymore, also because these are new songs, recent and he's not as low as he felt before.
My interpretation of the “I just pray that I’m not losing you” is referring to the close relationship / bond Tyler and Josh have with their fans. TØP toured almost nonstop for 10 years and with the pandemic Tyler didn’t know when they would be able to get back on the road … if ever. He feels the most creative and connected when he is on stage. But stuck “swimming circles in his fishbowl” made him feel a bit lost. Although fortunately it meant quality time with his wife and his adorable little girl Rosie 🥰 I think it’s cute that he announced that Jenna was pregnant with their second child while on stage 😹
They are such an amazing band live! It’s only with this recent album (SAI) that they added touring musicians for some songs. Typically it’s just the 2 of them. If you want to see a good representation of them live, I would recommend “Trees” live from the Fox. It was the song that they usually used to end their concerts.

I hope you read this since I want to give some vague insight into 21p to not spoil much of the journey into their discography (they're my #1 band.) Most of 21p's live performances are quite literally completely different from the studio versions, and the reason for this comes from one song's lyrics where he raps "I'm in constant confrontation with what I want and what is poppin' in the industry, it seems to me that singles on the radio are currency, my creativity's only free when I'm playing shows." LOVE them and most of their lyrics are DEEP. That lyric is from Lane Boy which is one of their first few songs that hit the radio. Saturday is one of their lightest songs ever made lyrically and musically, but it's one of my favorites. I definitely recommend getting into the albums Trench and Vessel since they show their absolute variety of musical tastes, and the lyrical content is absolutely astonishing. Love your reactions!

I don't know if it was for effect, or if he was having trouble with his in ear monitor, but he sounds pitchy in several parts of this performance. For a minute I had forgotten about this performance and thought I had missed them on Unplugged lol.
I know you normally steer towards live versions, but in this case the live ukelele version is soooo different from the video version. With Pilots, much like with hip hop there is a big element lost by not hearing the studio versions, and their videos are so intricate and part of the storytelling. There's a whole storyline/lore that follows through their videos. They put so much thought into the visual elements that you're really going to be missing out by only doing the live versions.
Super on Point about Sundays, the singer Tyler raps in his song "Migraine" "Thank God it's Friday, cause Fridays will always be better than Sundays, cause Sundays are my suicide days". Btw react to Migraine by 21 Pilots, it's a good one
