2:13 You probably need to skip the ff3 after df2,3 unfortunately I can't test it I used this combo: ff3 ff3 ff4 1 ff3 1,2d sz 3,2 ws3,2 for 77dmg, wish I had known your combo earlier, although it might be a good idea to end your combo with ws3,2 if you are playing in poor connection cause it seems inconsistent if you don't dash enough I guess.
Easy combo off DF3,2 is BTF3 FF4 DB2,4 SS 34 and then finish with F2-3 in SS for oki. If they tech roll or roll away do SS4 if they delay wake up do SS up into BT for a either BT mixup or a BT 2 or BT 1+2 if they try and challenge
Hey, @PhiDX. Been following for a little while and honestly love what you do. It's really inspiring. A quick one, I recently decided to pick up Raven and was wondering if this combo still works in the full release of the game and if so, can you drop the notation for it, or something equally as good, if not? There are things I recognise but others I just don't. Again, appreciate all that you put into helping the community. Much love from South Africa.
I'm glad that the title wasn't really accurate. I hate when characters become watered down, easy mode versions of themselves. Looking at you Tekken 8 Jin.
wish i caught the raven stuff live! but glad someone else was there to give u the bnb combos at least. re the title though, master raven also could use the same routes for ws1, ws2 ch, and ff3 so there's no difference there compared to new raven in that way?
@@enginemuseum5807The input for chains of misery is just FC db 1+2 in T8 so it’ll come out faster than in previous games and might make it a i12-i13 punish for lows
Do you have any idea about how our subconscious works, and how hard is to reprogram it ,when you for example realise that you may do something wrong ,or just want to add something new ?
Raven is one of my mains. Out of my 3 mains, I think he is the strongest. Raven > Bryan > King. After every other move, you can go into a soulzone mixup. It is ridiculous, Mix up after mix up after mix up.
Except that if you duck once, he dies lol, since at range 0, his low is -16....On top of that he doesn't have a launching mid, so it's riskier than mishima vortex but less rewarding mids.
@@IzNebula Raven is high risk, high reward. You can cancel out of sz and out of his wave dash easily. He has got so much outside of his sz. Its so easy to keep your opponent guessing. Raven is a beast with his Pinya step. He has a wave dash more lethal than the Mishimas. He has a lot of space control and good pokes. He has great lows. With his whole kit put together he is VERY strong.
A bit off-topic here. bro, but your videos audio is just too low; I find myself having to turn volume up to watch your videos, but then all other stuff gets too loud and it's pretty inconvenient. Also, I cannot watch you videos at all in my office computer because it has audio set to a some sort of company standard and there is no easy way to change it; everything else sounds at a pretty good volume, except your videos which practically have no sound at all. Don't take it as something bad or as a mean comment; Just think that maybe more people would be happy to follow your content but they won't because they cannot hear a thing. (I know I'm not the only one)
So im dead, i don't understand those "specialist" charachters, how to play them well and often how to fight them To me Tekken should only be classic/generic stuff like mishima, bryan, dragunov and not many others ahaah I never know what to do Vs this strange boys
11:36 rage drive 😂😂😂
What's the combo you did at 04:45 which starts with Soulzone 3?Cuz i didn't understand the follow moves
Weird cut to black cracked me up
Same LOL go next already 😂

Raven was super fun in the beta, looking forward to playing more!
Awesome video as always. Is there any way to listen to the outro song in its entirety? It goes too hard

Much love from South Africa.
My go to combo that gives good damage and never fails. Especially in T7
I'm so glad I found this channel, is there anyway that you can do a deph review of the new improved Lars in tekken8?
You're the best Phidx.
it's pinya STEP sir.....
PhiDX looks like Aris from time to time, it's so cool)))
I'm glad that the title wasn't really accurate. I hate when characters become watered down, easy mode versions of themselves.
Looking at you Tekken 8 Jin.
I wasn't lying! I really thought it was way easier than before lmao
Jin is already easy mode in 7

Thanks for the info! I didn't know the shadow clone tornado functioned the same as Maven's tailspin
if you mod your stick to do that wave dash due to you are old and it hurts your finger is it concider cheating?
Can you notate the combo please?
Its the ravu-wavu!
Wanted to play more Raven in CBT but I play on Pad and my thumb starts to hurt like crazy from using FF4 and FF3 to much LOL 😂
raven dash tutorial on hitbox would be much
welcome
Still d,df,d but easier on hitbox
Jin main. I really want to pick up Devil Jin this time.
This is the last time u get me with these titles
It's literally one combo!
So now you can just learn one combo route and it should work with every launcher? Is this universal for all T8 characters?
Not universal to get this much damage and carry with just one combo
I really want to play raven
U should use f23 cuz in t8 its safe and it has great reach distance.
IT'S SAFE???
@@PhiDX :D yas its -9 now
Are punish throws unbreakable? and if so does that mean Bryan can chain of misery -12 lows? if so that is so cool!!
That would be cool but you’d have to do the input which in turn makes it more than 12 frames of startup.
@@enginemuseum5807 I think in tekken 8 the input was changed to wc db 1+2 so it unless they also changed the frames it should be i12 now

great video man but how does it relate to the title 😭
One Raven combo enough to learn him!

Just started the video, but if they made specialist characters easier, this means they must've made them more generic than the other games sadly😢.
watch the video first
@@dat1faclesdude I watched it through, I was just commenting on the title.
You don't need a combo to play tekken, and if you are participate in beta test ,you have to be respectful by not labbing all the time
