Couldn't agree more! The newer sets seem like they are designed more for decoration than play whereas the older sets are really designed to be played. The attention to detail is also fantastic!
I totally agree! In my opinion, the 'golden era' of Sylvanian Families is between 1996 to 2006 ❤️. During this era, the sets released were all super detailed and the design is more realistic compared to the newer sets which can sometimes feel a bit contrived.
@@SylvanianOscar Yes! 100% agree, that's my favourite time period as well! There's a few sets and buildings that have come out more recently that I like but pretty much everything from that time period I'd love in my collection!
