    How do you know if the Pilates certified teacher training program is nationally certtified? Would you recommend any training programs? I don’t want to do one and then other studios don’t give you a job and then you have to pay to do each studios training program in order to teach at that Pilates studio.

      I have a couple of videos that talk all about this ☺️ It’s hard for me to recommend a program because of so many different factors but I would say either Balanced Body for a contemporary training program or CPE for classical. Hope this helps!!

      @ what is the difference with contemporary or classical. I took lesson with a stott pilates machine and I think she was classically trained. I then tried lessons at IMX Pilates and their Pilates reformer machine is way more difficult each band is harder then the Pilates machine I happen to own. IMX was More athletic and I lost 45 pounds in 6 months at 5 pounds weight loss a week, I got so muscular and was fitting in clothing I had not worn in 15 years. IMX was the toughest class I ever took. I tried club Pilates but it was a free session that only went 30 minutes so not sure but the class was easier but not a full class. I am interested in athletic Pilates reformer vs the classical but not the mega formers ex lagree or solidcore never took these classes and honestly those machines are even bigger then the Pilates reformer I own. How do you know if it is a national or international certification?

      Hi!! So there are many Pilates Instructors who work full time and make a great living but I would definitely recommend you try dipping your toes first and trying it out! Possibly consider teaching Pilates while taking your classes to make sure it’s what you really want to pursue :) I hope this helps!

    Hi, does being a pilates instructor require standing for a long period?

    • @pilatesonthegreen
      @pilatesonthegreen  Год назад +3

      It does!! Definitely recommend getting fitted for proper shoes so your feet don’t hurt at the end of the day 😊
