This video was very helpful, thank you, Aileen. I am currently working in social media marketing, but I dream of taking the first steps toward becoming a Pilates and wellness entrepreneur. I have watched some of your videos, and they have inspired me a lot. X
I agree! I’m curious how you do this without an app, how it’s growing. I’d also love to hear what your family and husband thought when you made such a big career shift😊
Aileen love your content!!! I immerse myself into pilates and you're my inspiration!❤ Pls can you do a video about how much money can run a pilates studio physically it would be really interesting to see! ❤ Gettings and blessings!
Aww you are so sweet, thank you so much! I don't run a brick and mortar (a physical studio location) so I don't have much insight I can share about that, sadly. If I am able to gather enough info from studio owners I know, I will definitely make a video about this one day and share all those details 😊
I will need to finish watching this video. I am turning 63 next month. I plan on teaching reformer at my recreation center for many years. I was offered two shifts while we were still in the classroom setting (they really needed teachers), and through my student teaching, I was requested by my student friends and acquaintances to teach on Sundays regularly and the all agreed to register and pay for the classes going forward. The supervisor also just added a Sunday Gentle class (for new students, those with injuries or who want a slower pace) right after the first one. The first session is already almost full and it's been less than a week since it was available to reguster for. I also substitute teach whenever possible so most weeks I teach 3 to 8 sessions. I also work another job. I have no expectations of high earnings. I just wanted to teach, as well as make a higher rate of pay. I have had several wildly different careers and this is my last one, likely. Never stop learning something new!
Also question! Do you live in LA? And what school did you go to to get your Pilates certification? Also do you teach on the reformer or Matt? What are your thoughts on lagreee?
@@GeenaPoldnev Miami ☺️ I got my training at a local boutique studio here. I’m comprehensively trained so I teach on all equipment. I’ve tried lagree once and it wasn’t my cup of tea but to each their own!
