    Nice gem of a channel I just stumbled across. I understand you’re more into drawing and tattooing in recent years, pretty sick at it too lol. But I think you have an uncommon combination of skill and characteristics for talkin about sound performance. I didn’t expect this when I first watched a video earlier. Maybe you could drop just a few random videos throughout a year talkin about the audio performance of a pair of true wireless earbuds that you’re currently using? It seems many into audio are glossing over this product category. I feel like it’s obvious this method of consuming audio could supersede traditional old school ways.
    As a side note, I kind of get a hint of Crinacle in this style of presentation/ editing with the sly cut away jokes and stuff lol

    This was a really fun premise for a review! I’m actually listening to this video on a Final E3000C right now: its small size and built-in microphone means that I still find myself using it decently often despite owning better IEMs. (Also, Final makes my favorite eartips.)
    If you’re looking for more to review, I’d love to see a comparison of Dunu’s lineup, so maybe Zen vs. EST112 vs. SA6. They are more expensive, though I think the three of them combined might still cost less than a Final A8000, lol

    • @asheryeo1337
      @asheryeo1337  3 года назад +1

      HAHAHA yes, DUNU's a little bit steep but I'll look around! final just make such great daily-carries. It might be a little bit bad to say this but they can take a bit of a beating and I won't feel too awful if they do break. That said I've never actually experienced any breaking on me before xD

    Godamnit ! I had one of these Final E3000 somewhere in a draw. Time to resurrect it.
    Once you admit these two axioms :
    1. Cable sucks (tangles, too thin, no possible upgrades)
    2. No rumble because of smallish driver.
    Then you can start tweaking the actual filter and finally finish with surprisingly decent results (except as I said the super low bass).
    Soooo....why not ?

    Kz ks10 pro ..for fun non critical listening 🍻

    Once again a great video.

    IMO, the Tin Hifi T4 is really great for under 100usd. Detail retrieval is very good for the price point, and it is a neutral bright sound sig. I tried them at oardio. Tin T2 is good too for those on a tight budget.
    For a super cheap iem with a well-tuned tonality, QKZ VK4 is really good (if you get a good set; they have qc issues). I find myself reaching out for them often. They don't have much detail retrieval to talk about, but the tonality is sooo pleasant to listen for long.
    Lastly if you're to stretch the 100usd budget for around 15 (you can get them for around 160sgd), the etymotic er2xr is an absolute bargain. It has one of the best detail retrieval in iems for the price (if you can get used to the fit, the narrow soundstage and the relatively neutral sound that might sound boring to some).
    Hope to see more of your vids!

    Completely agree about the Aria. I do enjoy the slowness in the bass as you describe it. To me it's greater bass decay which is very pleasing and something other IEMs weren't providing me. I wouldn't call it uncontrolled so much as not-tight and not-fast. In a lesser earphone I find those qualities non complimentary but the Aria is reasonably balanced, tonally pleasing, and as you describe, more musical than analytical. I didn't buy into the hype of it either, I bought it because it was cheaper than the FiiO FH3, the iKKo OH10, or the Sennheiser IE 300. I planned to return the Aria if it didn't exceed my expectations and well, color me impressed.
    Really enjoyed the video, I love the information and context you're providing. Your descriptions are also excellent. Figured I'd lend my experience with the Aria if folks are as skeptical as I was. Hope your channel continues to grow, I appreciate the insights and expertise! ✌️

      Thank you for sharing your experiences with the Aria! I never quite managed to get over the bass because of my own preferences, but I appreciate the way it's invested itself into creating musicality and tonality that pretty much tops most IEM offerings in the under-hundred band.
      It's also such a relief to know that the extra info and context was appreciated! I always feel a bit conflicted on whether to leave those bits in so it's a lovely thing to hear.

      @@sorcerermax5111 I'd say the Aria is a fair bit warmer than the E3000. To the point that the E3000 is almost balanced in comparison! The Aria's mids are more fleshed out, but I find the E3000s highs more enjoyable.

    Didn't quite understand the conclusion, is e3000 still competitive vs newer more expensive Aria? Lets say, in the imaging department, which can be advantageous for a gamer. I'm testing $25 e500 and can say with EQ, its very capable subwoofing 50Hz music with +15dB . But imaging resolution could use more clarity for footsteps in games. Donno what can be the king for imaging in $100 budget. Ordered er2xr but not sure if that's the right direction.

    • @asheryeo1337
      @asheryeo1337  2 года назад +2

      I personally like the E3000 for it's tonality. But I don't think it can objectively be "better" than the Arias. While I didn't enjoy the Aria as much there's myriad options to tweak the sound via tip/cable rolling Vs the E3000 which sounds great and is a favourite. But has undetachable and comparatively flimsier cables.
      I don't normally use earphones for games. Especially not FPS, but I feel like final's E Series really just isn't built for that :)
      I haven't really specifically explored earphones for gaming so let me know if the er2xr works for you!

    • @elypeachy3296
      @elypeachy3296 2 года назад +2

      @@asheryeo1337 Got Er2Xr today, they are super comfortable, and are able to produce some details like ambient noises that I'm hearing clearly for the first time. That said, I have to amp/gain to hear them, in turn bass becomes an issue when gaming. For music they feel sterile with not much EQ flexibility before becoming distorted, as if etymo reusing their 30 year old technology and staying true to being ear 'monitors' . Comparing to $25 e500, u can tweak subwoofer to be on steroids and stay smooth. Another wierd note e500 works fine on my regular phone, er2xr however comes out low volume and almost like AM radio . So for $110 after tax that I paid, its hard for me to justify the purchase without wanting to get something else instead. Something that can be both clear and flexible whether game or music. But the comfort level in these is unreal so I should just suck it up.
