Frank do you have any idea what might be wrong ? I have a 3011 it has the power chairlift as well and that works just fine. However when I put it in the drive position and push the joystick nothing happens the battery is full and the four speed lights are lit they do however flash off and on I don’t know whether that’s indication of something or not what do you think

We purchased a couple new deep cycle gel batteries for my father in-laws Jazzy from our local Interstate battery center. Went to charge them this year ( after sitting for 6-8 months ) now won’t charge. Interstate said the scooter batteries were not like car batteries as they are seasonal and you could expect them to only last a year. Is that correct? So even if we were to buy new ones & charge them a bit every couple weeks, we could only expect them to be good for a year? Thanks
Yes . I will say cheap once 7-8 months and gel once close to a year. That's why companies give only 6 months or a year , because they know it won't last more than that. #madeinchina

I bought a jazzy elite he from a woman a few days ago it was her husbands she said he never got to use it, the date on it was six years ago. She charged it up before I came to look at it. I gave it a five minute test run it seemed fine. I put it on the charger when I got home 12 hours later it was still charging even though it was only down one notch so I unplugged it then plugged it back in and it showed it was charged,the charger works fine on my wife’s identical chair. It has a lot of power for 20 minutes then starts having a hard time going up incline and gos slower. And sometimes it will slam to a stop and the wrench icon flashes 8 times. I turn it off then back on and it’s fine. Can all this be from old batteries??

Hello, my charger seems to not be working. How can I troubleshoot charger? Charger is an ob7 from a chauffer mobility 205 model. I can charge batteries with car charger but nothing happens when I plug on board charger. Circuit breaker is working. Is there an internal fuse on the ob charger? Can it be fixed or does it need to be replaced?

Because of the pandemic I’ve been home for three months..my Drive medical Cirrus Plus EC Folding Power wheelchair die.. I try charging it but it’s not coming to live.. what can I do? Calling insurance will be another headache for me .. please help

The easiest way to tell is by using the battery gauge on your joystick. Take note of the amount of LEDs indicating your battery charge. Turn off the wheelchair, then plug in and turn on your charger, leave it charging for an hour or so. Unplug the charger, then turn back on the machine, if your battery indicator goes up, your charger works. There are many other ways, that is the easiest.

What's the voltage of the Batteries? I heard they were 12v. Can I use standard rechargeables if I need to replace them. The usual ones are expensive.
The batteries themselves are 12v each. When you arrange them in series, they become 24 v. Most all powerchairs run on 24. Lawn mower batteries will work, but only for a short time. To save money and time, you should use the recommended u1 wheelchair batteries. I prefer Universal brand.
if you keep you batteries charged all the time they will last longer .i have been in a wheelchair for seven yrs so i know
Hi. The mother inlaws electric scooter when the charger is plugged in, it starts to charge. But 5 mins later, turns off and the charged green light comes on. So the charge stops. The scooter will drive ok but be dead in 5 mins. So what is the problem?

My chair has been charging for 3 days. When I turn it on it makes a beep all the lights flash then go off then a second later they all flash again.

Hi, what would be the problem if I charge the battery and it shows fully charged, but as soon as I start using it it starting show on scale,that it drops from green to yellow to red sagnificantrly quick in spite if being fully charged over 3-4 hours?
If the batteries are new, I would have them tested. If they are old I would have them tested. New batteries sometimes, not often are sold with an active short by accident.

Hi i have a question iam hopeing you can help me with if you dont mind i need someone with knowledge ive got a travelux quest electric wheelchair its been losing power but the shop couldnt find a fault i fully charged the batteries and while using the l.e.d lights go down to one light after about 30 minits of use but it does last for a while just on the last light flashing red do you think its the batteries or a fault with the joy stick itself hope you reply would be much appreciated thanks.
Drew, batteries are pretty straight, either work dont or in between. How old are the Batts?
@@astrosmell thanks for the reply there about 8 months old but didnt want to rush out and buy more if there is another fault some ody eles said they had an issue with the joy stick ive fully charged it last night was out about harlf hour the battery lights whent down to one red flashing light but kept going for another 45 minits
Ive just recently purchased it of somebody who has had it in the shop and they coulnd find any fault so am not shure if its the batteries or joy stick but not getting any codes of the joy stick flashing lights
can I use a car charger on my 06 series rehab quantum which has gel batteries! thx,its brand new but I didnt charge it enough
The batteries should be less than 1 year old if you hope they can be brought back into commission through charging. Gels maybe 2 years no charge.

Pulse chargers will they revive the impossible
No no they will not. A battery has a finite lifespan, and when done they are done. With the exception of draining and adding all new acid, Iv`e tried it all., to limited success.

Can you test a charger by direct measurement with a multimeter to the prongs of the xlr connector?
No. The smart chargers on the chairs won't charge with out a load. The load is the battery.

Vr2? Check to see if you are getting 24 volts to the charger port. That would eliminate a power issue. If you have power, I would concentrate on the on / off button as an issue.

Actually not quite correct, mostly it is right away can red light start blink. I usually have to turn off for a-couple of minutes and then turn on again.

What fuse is in invacare M91 at battery terminal...can it be replaced?
I purchased a wheelchair and the Guy told me it needed New batteries so I purchased New batteries and I put in the New batteries and I went to Power it up and I got nothing, No Lights or anything , I just don't know what's Wrong with the wheelchair, I can't purchase Part's and Part's and More Part's
Check controller, disconnect and take your controller to a friends wheelchair and test it out
