Wish Alvarez had creative freedom on this one. It felt like the references and plot points from other alien movies were forced by producers. This should have been 100% original.
It was really cool. I also didn’t like certain aspects - the CGI robot. Thought they could use make-up lookalike. I assume they may need to showcase that. I was a surprise and a delight too. I was happy with it mostly. The previous movie feels really like a disaster; but there’s perks in every movie.
It captures the look and feel of the original 1979 film very well, cinematography wise it’s very well short and has some Very tense camera movement and The Aliens are terrifying, as for suspense, the film had me on the edge of my seat for a good amount of the runtime. In regards to negatives, The characters I found very one dimensional and they don’t go into great details so when they die I didn’t care, The film also suffers from the cliche of having a moronic character Who causes problems and puts everyone’s life in danger but Overall, I really enjoyed it I would give it an 8/10
I must say it was pretty good. This movie made you forgot about the other god awful alien movies in the past. This is what happen when they got no business being in places not knowing what on that ship. Lets see, unknown ship, not sure who or what is on it, and a chance that you might not come back to earth or anywhere else. I'm good. Thanks for your epic review and how are you doing today?
I think the producers force Fede to make a nostalgia Alien film because Ridley made a original Alien film Prometheus and 85% of people hated it Fede is a elite director wish he do more film projects he’s in the top 5 in the 2020S this is the best film I seen all year 2024 better directed than Alien Covenant B+
I heard about the CGI thing but wasn't taken back by that at all. Cause I had no idea what was being such an issue with people until I thought about it. It wasn't bad to me.
Now I have to watch it in the theater. I muted you, to avoid spoilers. Will finish listening after watching it. I’m watching Blindpassager from 1978. The internet. Good one.
Time to educate the people who have SEEN the Alien movies with an outside perspective. Many new comers loved this movie having not watched the previous movies. Guess what. That means they likely aren't taken back about the nostalgia parts. I've only seen parts of the first 2 movies and Alien v Predator and forget a lot about them and LOVED this movie. Go see it people.
Dude, WTF are you talking?! Alien ROMULUS was fucking great, it is THE BEST Alien movie after Alien and Aliens, its better as AVPs and Prometheus and Covenant! I am pleased with everything, watching Alien Romulus felt like watching Star Wars ROGUE ONE or Predator PREY!
I'm seeing Romulus tonight, I should like it.
Ehhh

Would you ever do a ranking video of every movie from each famous director?
Maybe
